Invincible Universe Mods

I admit that I am a Johhnny-come-lately for the Invincible comics serries... But I have done fairly extensive research and I decide to make a couple of Mods to complete the Guardians of the Globe:

The first one is Monster Girl which is (mostly) a re-paint of Ultimates Abomination. She has Putty for her skirt and armbands.

The second one is a Black Samson and Shrinking Ray Duo-fig. Samson is Hawk's body and Lex Luthor's head. Ray is 100% greenstuff.

Pics are kinda dark but, I think they turned out ok.
I hope fans of the serries will stop by and post comments!

Invincible is my favourite comic and I've done several Invinci-verse customs myself. Love your Monster Girl. Looks very accurate.

Well...Added a new pic. Can only take pics so good. I don't have a digital camera. I've taken these pics with a Cameraphone. I do not have a light tent. I don't even have adequete lighting. These pics are as good as it's gonna get. Sorry:cry:

Hey, I suck at photography too! I have a good camera, but none of the other things that make digi pics better (including skill, it would seem) for minis. But a blurry pic is better than no pic, keep up the good work, unsung!

I really like seeing Invincible mods. That Monster Girl looks really good. But frankly the other photos are too dark and blurry for me to tell anything about the figures.

Folks, if you're proud of your figures and want us to admire your hard work, you must let us see them properly. You don't need special equipment to take a good picture. Just make sure there's a light behind you, then take 20 shots from different distances and show us the best one.

I bought the first trade and found it highly overrated story-wise. Love the art though.

Kirkman's first couple of arcs on Walking Dead is about the only thing I like from the guy. I seriously don't understand the fandom. Good for the guy though, and good for all you that like him too!

I genuinely couldn't agree more about Invincible arc 1.

I bought it and was like "Meh" and didn't come back to it in 3 years.


But the second trade.....oh shi--- and it really starts getting jaw droppingly good every single issue from around issue 30.

I know that sounds like a tall ask, but its just incredible. The artwork is arguably the best in the industry too, from around issue 50 to the present (68) I beg you to give it a try.

Well, if I find some of the later trades, and my pockets aren't empty at the time, I will give them a chance! I should have a slew of mods coming this week too, one of them, the idea is based on our thread host's (unsunghero) current avatar!

Now that's what I'm talkin' 'bout!! Great stuff. I especially like the Rex. Now that Rex is (heroically dead), I really like his character more. What's a good dial for Rex? Something cheap, like Human Bomb? Or could he be as strong as the 90pt Gambit dial from M&M?

I'm a much more conservative dial giver than most folks on here. Not everyone is a god ya know! Anyways, I don't see him with Plusewave, just EE, Running shot, leap climb and maybe CR. Not really any dails with ALL of those. Vet Jubilee or Exp. Gambit (XP). I think work ok.

I had another Captain Ben Daimio(HB) fall into my lap a while back so I use him. Every time I roll for leadership I ask 'when did you stop being a jerk?' :p

I was really looking for RS, EE, dual targets and if possible a wild card to copy the GG TA from Invincible.

Have Finally got arround to taking Pix of Rex with Energy.
