Which Blade dial do YOU feel best replaces the 28-point Experienced from Infinity Challenge? Remember, the rules are that the point cost, team ability, range, and any other dial-top stats and symbols MUST remain the same.

(Note that these dials were designed by members of HCRealms, whose names have been withheld in the interest of a fair vote. The credit for these dials does not necessarily belong to the poster.)

Wizkids made it look like this. Which of the above do you think makes for a fitting replacement?

This poll is a product of the Second Dial Project: Infinity War. Our goal is to have designers here on the Realms submit redesigned dials for all the pieces of Infinity Challenge (okay, maybe not LEs) so that people can switch in new dials and find some new love for their old pieces. This project began after the collapse of Pinata's bid for heroclix, and now with the celebrated return of clix with Hammer of Thor, we're still looking at this project as a fun addition to the game we all love.

Designers create a dial that must adhere to all the information that is already printed on the dial top. That means that point cost, range, flight, etc. are all accounted for. We also strive to keep the same keywords (to avoid additional confusion).

Now, we’ve taken the highest ranked dials based on the Designer Jam Thread found HERE (http://www.hcrealms.com/forum/showthread.php?t=261222) and present them to you so that the dial we go with represents what you think is most balanced and interesting.

Please vote for each experience level. The polls for the other levels are here:
Rookie: http://www.hcrealms.com/forum/showthread.php?t=263106
Veteran: Forthcoming

Also, please leave comments if you think the dial you voted for could still use a final tweak. We want what we create to be directly from the community.

When the project is complete, we hope to see this re-done set included in the Heroclix Online game, as well as having the dials available to be printed and placed inside your old clix.

Will your judge allow these new dials into your regular events? Will WK? We hope so, and the more support we show for the project, the more likely it can be. And your support also means we’ll move on to Hypertime (Second Dial: Multiverse) and see new designs for more of your favorite characters.

If you'd like to get in on the early concept design, check out our current dial critique thread on Jean Grey here (http://www.hcrealms.com/forum/showthread.php?t=262923).

Dial #2 ftw - but the power has to be tweaked to make clear whether the Steal Energy bonus only applies if the Monster bonus too (is that "additional" strict?)

For the measly 28 points I would say #2 is most accurate.

I had to go with #2 also. =)

I like Dial #2. Opening 18 Defense counting Combat Reflexes seems a bit generous for a 28 pt figure for Dial #1 and damage output is high for #3.

Dial #1. It's the most playable of the three. Plus the stats best reflect a 28pt dial.

Dial 2 is quite good for the points and most probably the most comic accurate. I approve.

Love that second one. Sweet SP too.

You're not allowed to go down the dial looking to see if your target eventually gets Steal Energy so the special power should be worded more clearly that you get an extra +1 if the 'monster' has steal energy showing on the dial currently.

voted #2 though it may be a bit too good for 28pts, especially compared to the rookie options for only 2pts more

I liked #2 best, but voted for #1 because I felt that 2 was too good for the point value

I went for number two because of the special power. Powerful, but only against the right opponent. The numbers seemed right for me, too.

See, that wording was actually changed FROM "showing on the dial" because of Special Powers that include the ability to use Steal Energy. I don't think that wording (in current clix lingo) means 'anywhere at all on his dial'.

That was actually the first question that popped into my mind when I read it. But I did kind of assumed it meant currently on the dial.

For me, it was close between 1 and 2 (3 didn't do it for me at all). But ultimately, I guess I like opening Charge and CR better than Stealth and Toughness.

Dial #1: Angry Eyes.

I think this best represents Blade as he gets a little more arrogant, ie Experienced. He has a little mobility w/ Charge, but then drops into Stealth w/ BCF.

I voted for number one bc I like the way it plays but if at all possible, with it being so conditional could we add the special power of the second one to the first click of the Angry Eyes

I went with #1. It just struck me as balanced.
