Great cast, guys. I enjoyed your thoughts on other ATAs! I second Gudda's thoughts on the second issue of Clone Saga. With all this stuff going on Mephisto, it makes me wonder... is there a chance that in this new continuity, Ben Reilly is still alive?

It would make me incredibly sad if Spectacular Spider-Man gets cancelled. It has been such a great series.

Hey guys, here is the story with Punisher continuity. The recent regular Punisher issue finishes the story arc of Punisher fighting The Hood. Then, Punisher: The List takes place after this has happened (as you see him resting up and recovering from the results of that battle with The Hood). So in my mind, at least now, Punisher: The List is still in reasonable continuity. Now, however, what happens in the next Punisher remains to be seen.

Steve...I'm just as floored by what they've done with the Punisher on the The List:Punisher title. So I'm just done with the Punisher titles.

I haven't bought a Spiderman titles since the Mephisto "First Day" #### rolled out. I'm certainly not going to buy another Punisher title...oh well.

Gudda, continuity is a sore subject for the majority of comic book readers. I won't argue why I prefer "continuity" over "content" as the reason people buy comic books, but I will say this much....more comic book fans will stop buying a title because the current writer didn't "respect" the material before hand and didn't follow continuity like Steve tried to point out to you in the Punisher:The List.

The reasons why people like comics is extremely varied, but I think in general "bad story writing" like this last Punisher title will lose more readers than bring more in the long run. Lost readers=lost dollars.

ATA to remake is Legion of Superheroes.

Funny thing. I was reading from a text file...I didn't have it scrolled all the way to the top of the document. So I missed 3 of ya but we will hook you up again on the next podcast.

what about doom patrol gets basicly the darkness within. it fits since as of infinite crisis there leader/mentor is the one who made them all this way in the first place. correct me if i am wrong guys. but at least there it is

I think the Metal Men deserve an ATA. Based on how they work together, I think either of the Moloid special abilities would be appropriate:

SWARM: When Moloid is given a move action, it can use the Carry ability to carry one or two Moloids.

OVERWHELM: When this Moloid makes an attack against a target opposing character, modify its attack value by +1 for each other Moloid that has made an attack (successful or not) against that target during this turn.


For "new" keywords, they only thing that comes to mind right away is Dark Avengers. I'll have to think more on that one...
