Is tk a range attack??

Hello,

The main rule is a little confusing.
There is one line....
"...A character can use Telekinesis to make a ranged attack against an opposing character in an adjacent square. "

this line is sort of implying that you can attack just with TK.

However, the line is under the Bold heading of attacking with objects.
I ASSUME that this is implying that the TK'r is using an object and that is the only way it could work was in conjunction with said object??

Alrighty...

This is perhaps one of the rare instances where a figure (grounded or not) can make a Ranged Combat Action against an adjacent opposing figure (grounded or not).

This specific attack requires that an object also be adjacent.
