Turn off team abilities?

Can you chose not to use or even turn off team abilities like Batman team ability?

The FAQ states that Team Abilities are optional and can be turned off.

Team abilities can be turned off at any time (within certain limits). Team abilities turn back on automatically at the end of your turn.

to the best of my meager knowledge, you can not outwit a team ability. though you do not HVE to use them on your own fig, but why wouldn't you want to in most cases?

Teams like Batman Ally are on all the time....

When you say you are gonig to use Probability Control or Perplex on a Batman Ally in Hindering... what you are really doing is having Batman Ally turn off the team ability so it can be seen, then you are using Probability Control/Perplex....

Does that makes sense?

I guess my question is with the Batman team ability, if you turn it off during your turn do you have to wait until your next turn to turn it back on?

Team abilities that are voluntarily turned off will be automatically turned on at the end of the current turn.
