For all the shortcomings of this show (pretty much every episode that featured Lana Lang falls in this category) it has begun to rebound. The last episode "Kandor" was pretty darn good for a show that hasn't been as strong without Lex.

Without giving away too much there is an allusion to the "Justice League" that has been created on the show over the last couple of seasons making a comeback. This got my creative juices flowing and I wanted to make the best team I could for a homegame. I gave it a shot yesterday afternoon and it played okay. I'd like to make it better though and I'm coming to you the Clix community for your advice!

The roster of potential options breaks down like this:

Clark Kent/Kal-El/The Blur (he's not Super yet - - he still can't fly!)
Oliver Queen/Green Arrow
Victor Stone/Cyborg
Arthur Curry/Aquaman
Bart Allen/Kid Flash
Dinah Lance/Black Canary
Det. John Jones/Martian Manhunter (although he's now depowered)
Kara Kent/Kara-El/Super Girl
Chloe Sullivan (very similar to Oracle now, but in the Watchtower, literally)

I think that's about it as far as characters that have been introduced and appeared again after their initial intro. I skipped over Dinah, Det. Jones and Kara in favor of the other six as they have been more integral. Here are the dials I used yesterday but I'd love to hear other ideas:

Young Superman 100 pts. (flies which is inaccurate but Clark should have the Carry ability; this was the best I could do off the top of my head!)
Wally West 72 pts. (modded with a Kid Flash sculpt on top)
Cyborg 54 pts. (need the Vet from Unleashed)
Green Arrow 50 pts.
Aqualad 40 pts. (modded with an Aquaman sculpt from Icons)
Brainiac 5 40 pts. (working on Chloe mod now)

I wanted to use a TA that does something so I tried to go with Wild Cards and Teen Titans but it's still not that accurate for the show - again with the asking for suggestions! I put Alias on Ollie (made tons of sense for the show and it worked in the game!), Lunge on Cyborg (never got to use it because I played him horribly) and Coordination on Chloe (home ruled to work with the whole team). I really needed some form of Prob Control as I rolled one short of my needed number like 10 times - maybe my buddies will throw me a bone on this part and allow me prob rolls but nothing else as a "thematic team".

Anyway, I think that's it - I'd love to make this my next project now that I'm pretty much done with my Exiles collector's set (watch for a post in Artisan's Guild in the next few days). Thanks y'all!!!

So after thinking through the various options - I think this is the route I would like to go but I would really like to still hear some suggestions/opinions! I'm really liking the same six characters as previously posted but I wanted to do some customization for a few dials, etc. I'm just beginning to get into the mods, character cards, etc. I'll start with the minimal work pieces first:

Cyborg (65 pts.) - just ordered the Vet to give me some more options and flexibility on my point total, still have the Exp. if need be
Aqualad (40 pts.) - modded with an Aquaman sculpt on top to more closely match Arthur's look on the show - short dial but accurate for his appearances in my opinion
Brainiac 5 (40 pts.) - modded with an altered Meltdown sculpt to more closely resemble Chloe's look on the show and removed the flight symbol
Wally West (72 pts.) - modded with an Impulse/Kid Flash sculpt
Green Arrow (70 pts.) - modded the sculpt to look more like Oliver on the show (hood and shades instead of bandana mask, etc.)
Mirror Master (88 pts.) - I like the 8 range dual targets and boot transporter features more so than the features on the dial top of Young Superman since Clark doesn't fly yet on the show. The dial itself was pretty much spot on though

So I'm going to adjust the dial tops to show the names of the characters (rub on decals from miniature train sets work wonderfully!) and will need to come up with new point totals to reflect the changes to Clark and a TA that I'd like to create for these guys.

That's the part where I'd like help from my fellow clixers - does the following TA make these pieces too broken to use roughly the same point totals as printed above?

Justice - a member of this team may choose to (1) share it's unmodified defense value with an adjacent friendly character that also possesses this team ability prior to any attack roll or (2) or at the beginning of an action, when two friendly characters using the Justice team ability are adjacent to one another, you may choose one of the characters and give them a power action. Roll a d6 and heal the other, adjacent friendly character of 1 damage and on a result of 1-4, deal the character given the power action one unavoidable damage.

I've tried to water down the Defenders/JSA ability by not allowing the chain effect and making it so that a character can only use one option or the other per turn, but not both. Both are pretty accurate for the way the show has gone to this point so I wanted to work both in somehow. Thanks in advance for your .02 folks!

I'd possibly go with something on these lines:

Clark Kent/Kal-El/The Blur: Count Nefaria for a big point game, though Skrull Avengers or even Liberty Belle would showcase his closer combat style while still giving you a grounded Strength HSSer with just a bit of range.
Oliver Queen/Green Arrow: I'd possibly just go with the Green Arrow from JL, either Conner or the Starro Slave.
Victor Stone/Cyborg: Yeah, Unl Vet would fit.
Arthur Curry/Aquaman: I've always been partial to the Vet Icons, though the Garth works too.
Bart Allen/Kid Flash: CR Rookie is always great, plus he saves points for others.
Dinah Lance/Black Canary: JL did a great version of her.
Det. John Jones/Martian Manhunter (although he's now depowered): The LE from Origins, or you could go with any version of Batman for a Detective.
Kara Kent/Kara-El/Super Girl: Rookie Supergirl works, she does fly on the show, right?
Chloe Sullivan (very similar to Oracle now, but in the Watchtower, literally): A legitimate use of Oracle on her card.

I've got a Smallville team!

Clark -- Young Superman (LOSH). Since there is no Soaring mode any more, flight is much acceptable for Clark... it gives him the carry ability and gives him the ability to not be hindered by things like bushes and lawn furniture. (Here's Clark in pre-"Blur" clothing (http://www.flickr.com/photos/29886981@N04/2798242180/))

Oliver -- Green Arrow (JL Starro slave). While he's not the best Green Arrow, I looked at this version as pretty good for his first few episodes on the show. (Here's Oliver (http://www.flickr.com/photos/29886981@N04/2797431639/))

Bart -- R Kid Flash (Cr). An excellent dial, of course. (Here's Impulse (http://www.flickr.com/photos/29886981@N04/3050521509/))

A.C. -- R Aqualad (Cr). While the Super Strength didn't quite fit A.C.'s character on the show, everything else about this dial did. (Here's A.C. (http://www.flickr.com/photos/29886981@N04/3050584533/))

Cyborg -- E Cyborg (Unl). Vic Stone had a variety of powers on the show, though we never really saw a ranged combat attack. I liked the dial, though, and the points fit well... and the Titans TA works well with Clark. (Here's Cyborg, plugging into a computer panel (http://www.flickr.com/photos/29886981@N04/3074891371/))

Chloe -- Amadeus Cho (M&M). The Cho bystander fit perfectly for Chloe, especially when she was infected by Brainiac. And when she's on the team, it's exactly 300 points! (Here's my Chloe Sullivan bystander (http://www.flickr.com/photos/29886981@N04/2955492961/))

John Jones -- R Martian Manhunter (Or). The rookie dial seemed perfect for the power set that we saw (before he becamed depowered). Plus, who wouldn't want a Clix figure of Jackie Chiles from Seinfeld? (Here's John Jones, the Martian Manhunter (http://www.flickr.com/photos/29886981@N04/3051402336/))

Kara -- R Supergirl (Or). The rookie dial is good for Kara, though she hadn't really gotten the hang of eyebeam combat yet. (Here's Kara in her short shorts (http://www.flickr.com/photos/29886981@N04/2797447721/))

Here's my entire Smallville team (http://www.flickr.com/photos/29886981@N04/3074947103/)

Dinah -- Black Canary (JL). I haven't made a mod of this yet, but the dial is great and if I'm going to include her in the team, this is the dial I'll use.

If I were going to play this team at 400 points, I'd play --

Young Superman 100
+ Fortitude 25

Green Arrow 50
+ Trick Shot 20

Cyborg 54
+ Lunge 5

Aqualad 40

Kid Flash 45

Black Canary 50

Amadeus Cho 11

Total: 400
(You could exchange Trick Shot for Armor Piercing and then add Maneuver on to Kid Flash.)
