So i am trying to get this whole scale thing down and I am stuck. I don't know if it's because I am tired, or if the recent slew of math and financial managemnet classes burned some brain cells, and they have not had sufficient time to regenerate. Whatever the case may be, I'm having a difficult time putting things together. So I have come here for help.

First, Heroclix is roughly set in "O" scale (train speak), 0 gauge, or 0 scale according to wikipedia. This means that the minis are roughly 35 mm. Therefore, they are scaled 1/48.

In this scale, 1.5 inches = 6 ft.

So here's my quandry: if I wanted to create a building, which in reality 96 ft tall (or 8 stories, which equals 12 ft), how would I go about determining how big to make it to be scaled correctly for Heroclix? Strange as it may sound, I only need the mathematical solution to this, as this is just an example of what I would like to do. Thanks!

1.5 : 72 inches or

0.125 : 6 feet = 16.32653% so

96 x 16.32652%= 15.673468ft

each 12 ft story = 1.9591824ft

.......roughly

Thanks! Good God, I need a different scale!

If it's 1/48 scale then just divide the real world measurement by 48 to get the model size.

96 foot tall building / 48 = 2 foot model

Yeah, I definitely need a different scale. Building I am looking at would be 10 ft tall! lol Thanks, btw.
