They all look like carp. The cheap platic ones look like something out of a cereal box, and the expensive ones made of silver look like something you'd order out of that Josten's Class ring catalogue they pass out during your last semester of high school.

Well, I happen to like them just because they are FUN!
It's nice to get something for free and its nice of DC to even think of doing it.
The rings that came with the Green Lantern busts a few years ago look great! Especially the Alan Scott one.
To each their own, but I happen to like QUITE A FEW of the rings I have in my Green Lantern collection!!

Let me guess - you want your money back! Gotcha...

Are you friggin' kidding me???? You should have seen the glow-in-the-dark ones they gave out back around 1990 or so. They were these HUGE things that weren't even round (they were lantern-shaped and covered the whole distance between your knuckle joints), and had this little glow in the dark disk in the center. They were awful -- they looked like something somebody's kid sister would wear when dressing up like grandma.

But even then, we had enough class to not complain -- they were FREE.

(The new ones are brilliant IMO. And, since I'm not a Lantern reader, I had to buy mine. I got the whole set, plus extras of the green and yellow ones (being as I'm old school).

What're they going for on eBay? Our local comic shop is currently selling them for $.50 apiece (except the Black ones which are a buck).

I love the rings. They fit perfectly on these silicone hands I made from a mold of my own hands. Problem is I only have four rings but eight fingers and two thumbs. I still need Indigo, Black, Orange, Yellow, and white. That's makes nine, so the Flash ring will have to make ten.

Oh yeah and :p

And then where will the Legionnaires ring go?
