Hi.
When I was a kid, there was a type of glue/cement that I used on plastic models that didn't just glue the pieces: it essentially melted the plastic. The result was that the two joined pieces melded together and the joint was as if it were made of just one piece. No possible chance of it coming apart. Couldn't be any more solid and tight than that. Any idea what this glue was, and whether it would have the same effect on clix?
Thanks.

You're thinking of what most people call airplane glue. In hobby shops it's called plastic glue. Jet and Zap-a-Gap are the two I can think of at the moment. They come in a variety of set times. I usually use the Jet Medium I think. I believe the label is orange. I have been using regular old Krazy Glue from the grocery store lately and that has worked out fine. Most of the hobby shops near me have closed.

I don't think that airpalne glue would work well with clix. That is an opinion though, I'm no scientist!

Clix are a different plastic then most models. It might not work the same or as well. That's why I suggested the Jet or Zap-a-Gap. Those do work on clix and work by melting the plastic. I've used those on clix and Warhammer stuff. I do prefer Krazy glue for clix though.

I swear by Zap-a-Gap. Shake well before using, tho.

thanks for the ideas. I'll try Zap a Gap or Jet.
