We need a GHOST RIDER, a SURFER, a DEADPOOL, CABLE, NAMOR, VENOM, CARNAGE, COUNT NEFARIA, ZEMO, BLACK TOM, CARDIAC, DARKHAWK, MAVERICK (yea old school weapon x) and we need everyones favorite villian... THE SHOCKER.

Wouldn't hold your breath on Deadpool or Cable, heheh.. ..unless a particular owner of said names is feeling rather generous one day.(Yeah right.) Would expect to see Agent X and Soldier X before them.(Their respective renaming since Marvel lost the rights to call them Deadpool and Cable.)

Most of the guys you mentioned are WAAAAYYYY too poular NOT to be made...I have no doubt in my mind that we'll see them, As for Deadpool and Cable, well, there's leagal issues with them, so we may not get to see em. Now, Maverick and Darkhawk are 2 charachters that I'm worried about.. I dont know how people feel about Maverick, but when I tell people I'm a Darkhawk fan, I get a look like they're ready to put me in a streight jacket. Then I really freak them out and tell them I'm a big Guardians Of The Galaxy fan too.....People want me dead.:(

Though I love them for fun tricks on use, there are more than enough Spider Man enemies (Syndicate) and X-men enemies (Brotherhood) & members both already. THE DEFENDERS are where the next set not "should be" but NEEDS to be. This team has been in the game from the first set, and after 3 full sets there are only 3 members; each one only at one exp level. This is pathetic.

They don't even need to do pure Defenders members necessarily, as they've shown with Beast who was barely a member; they can throw in honorary ones like they've done with other teams. Make it a catch-all for heroes not in Avengers, FF or X-men who shouldnt' be unaffiliated just the same.

There are 2 main Defenders; 50% of the founding members, who NEED to be made:
Namor (Sub Mariner)
Silver Surfer (Cough cough)

Other figures that should be pushed and are not in any way personal fandom choices:

Angel/Archangel (Last founding X-man not in the game and another potential Defender)

Ghost Rider (Potential Defender; grouping "Champions" in with them)

Adam Warlock (The #1 go-to guy when the universe is about to be obliterated and its on a scale out of Captain America's capabilities. "Uh oh, Thanos is up to his old tricks again; somebody send good ol' Quasar out to find Warlock")

Ant-Man 2 (Scott Lang). They made a real Yellowjacket figure after the promo-base, they should do Ant Man too. He can be Avengers, Spider Man Team, even Fantastic four! Really, though Lang himself is second or 3rd tier, Ant Man is a core Marvel figure.

Giant Man: Last founding Avenger not in the game (though Pym was Ant Man at the time; Giant Man is his most enduring form, I feel). Another truly pivotal figure in the Marvel universe.

Absorbing Man: "Universe X" finally cemented his place as one of the biggest and baddest villains in the Marvel Universe. The Masters of Evil team still desperately needs more usable close-combat figures. Natch.

LONGSHOT. We have Mojo & Spiral... Mojo is disliked by many for how silly he is; making ong wonder why they made him so early on, ESPECIALLY with Longshot nowhere in sight.

Sharon Carter: This set gives us new NON-GENERIC Hydra as REV figures. Shield does not get one; though Hydra IS under-represented in this set with generics. Still, Shield needs another named person to compete, and it's either her or Dum Dum Dugan. I go with Sharon.

TURK; Everybody's favorite thug informant (see practically any issue of Daredevil from the 80's). They are already stretching the credibility with their generics. Make the be-all end-all lackey already.

Ghost Rider wasn't just a member of the "champions", he was also a member of the mid-90's "Secret Defenders" team. Many people made their way through that version of the defenders, including Wolverine and Spiderwoman (when she was wearing the cool purple/blue-ish outfit and was slinging psyonic webs). There were quite a few other good members too, but as a whole, not many people remember this run (atleast not fondly). I only had the first 6 or so issues... and I thought those were good but then they started taking out all the characters I liked... anyway.

What we need is a Carnage, venom, new better black spiderman to make the whole symbiote thing going on and some others like scarlet spider, adn spider woman

For the x-men we could so use a a sweet cyclops, lorna dane (Polaris), havok, regular beast, archangel

For some other non-affiliated
Omega Red, phalanx (definetely sweet), deadpool, punisher, namor, some 2099 charcters, nova

Some really good ideas & points have been brought up in this thread. Silver surfer & Namor- How could you not have them ?
also agree that we need more clix of color - Falcon & photon would do nicely. I also think we need a Giant man to finish the Avengers founding members. I would also love to see the New Warriors (Nova/Night thrasher/ Justice/ Firestar/ Namorita)
and A Dark Hawk !!! Need I even mention Ghost Rider ?
