As I said in another thread, so far Daredevil has gotten a handful of good reviews, however there is one thing mentioned in each one so far that I'm not crazy about.

Warning, the rest of this thread contains one very minor spoiler from Daredevil - you have been warned.

All the reviews have said that Daredevil LETS a criminal die and/or doesn't have a problem with KILLING a bad guy once in a while (they mean the muggers and rapist's thats hes fighting daily). This is NOT the daredevil I know (and granted, I don't know ALL that much about the character). I've always understood that Daredevil had a very deep belief in the law would never kill someone, he would always bring them to justice (Bullseye being the one exception).

They have also said that there is a scene were DD needs to take pain killers because of all the wear'n'tear his body takes from being a superhero. While this isn't part of the character in the comics (as far as I know) I can understand it and it doesn't really change the character that much. I do believe that Daredevil, like Captain America and Batman, is one of the few characters who don't kill but can get away with it on occasion, I'd rather see him not doing it in his first movie.

Well he is/was a lawyer but Hell's Kitchen is a pretty tough neighborhood.
Daredevil has also gone through some pretty strong turmoil (Physical & mental) that would have had a lesser man committed to Belleview.
I wouldn't put it past him to at least let some heinous villain die.

Daredevil did have a drug problem at one point, but you're right, the only one he should let die, or kill, is Bullseye.
