Alright, I'll get a digicam, stop throwing Xacto blades at me!

Being a novice, I kept it really simple. I sanded off the random Jim Lee Accessory Packs on her hips, glued bits of paper over crotch and J-Lo booty to simulate skirt, and glued a paper mask over her face for that awful yellow V-shaped headgear.
I cut her off her base to primer her, which I won't be doing anymore. From now on I plan to simply mask the base with masking tape.
Then I went to town with the green and yellow costume. No shading or highlights til I get a better feel for it, but it still turned out pretty good. One thing I had to do special, was draw a line around the tops of her yellow boots so they stand out against her legs. I just used a thin-tipped felt pen for this. Glued her back to the base and am hoping it holds.
Best of all, she's playable with the base just as it is, since it IS the Rookie Jean Grey.
Next I'll try turning Vulture into Archangel.
