THUNDER Agents Revival

Hello all,

As I am one who has been desperately hoping for THUNDER Agents Clix, let me say that there is hope for the future.

According to Newsarama, new DC editor Dan DiDio is supposedly working on an ALL NEW THUNDER Agents series for DC. Hopefully, this will mean THUNDER Agents Clix at some point. Unfortunately, at the THUNDER Agents site, the people on the message boards seem to be interested in a TA reboot similar to the Marvel Ultimates titles. Personally, I'd rather see them more like JSA than Ultimates....

Let's keep our fingers crossed that they don't screw the this up. Or better yet, send an e-mail to DC begging them to make the book closer to JSA than to the Ultimates stuff at Marvel...

That's great! I'm trying to get hold of the 1st Archived edition. I saw a rumor that volumes 2 & 3 will be out in 2003. I certainly hope that the classic characters will be released eventually as Indy clix or as part of a future DC clix release.

I'm with you on this one, Mister-X.

I'm looking forward to any and all possible T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents Clix, IF done well.

As for the possible comic, T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents rock as is. DC would be smart to not change them very much.

They most certainly DO NOT need an "ultimization". Ugh.

JSA is my current favorite comic, and a T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents comic done in the same tradition would have a great chance at success without having to change everything that made them cool in the first place.

DO NOT "ULTIMIZE" THEM DC!!!

Angelripper- A friend of mine pointed out that Mike Carlin is supposed to be involved in the THUNDER Agents revival also. Given Carlin's track record and affection for the traditional DC characters, I'm feeling a lot better about the whole thing. I don't see Carlin messing with the Agents and "Ultimatizing" them. (I'm keeping my fingers crossed at least.)

KentN- Yeah, I'm still trying to get the Archive editions too. I'm still trying to finish my collection of the original issues also, I don't have too many left to get. I'm hoping that UNDERSEA Agent is part of this revival thing too...That would be great!
