this would totally clear up (with me anyway, and with the 100pt version in 300pt games) the relative worthlessness of sentinels. i mean, why not? those characters with outwit are the supersmart ones, the few characters who have the brains to create deathrays and such.
so...thoughts?
should the sentinels be able to be healed by characters with support (so outwit would have a secondary power that emulates the support abilitiy, but only for the sentinel/sinestro)?
would this make sentinels more playable?

I find the Sentinels to be playable as is, but I disagree.
Sentinels shouldn't be able to be healed. They are giant killer robots. Anytime one is damaged in the comics, the Sentinel has to go back to where it was made for repairs.

Theoretically if Sentinals could be healed you could "heal" a Mark I Sentinal upt to the Mark IV! That's why Sentinals can't eb healed, IMHO.

Y'know, I didn't even think about that. Good point, SY.

Seriously, the Sentinels are balanced and playable. I would stick with the rules as they are.

actually this is incorrect reasoning. Heroes in Mage Knight all come with varying levels from 1 to 5. They can all be healed, but healing doesn't bump them up to the next higher level. They still can't be clicked past their designated level.
But as the others said, Sentinels are fine as is.

not a bad line of reasoning about sentinels being able to be "healed" from a mark 1 to mark 7, but you obviously couldn't heal past their playing level.
seriously though. "playable" they are. in the same sense as constrictor, hawkeye, changeling, and veteran superman, then yes, they are "playable". but outside of fun games, they aren't really viable. no real reason to go out to buy one and no reason to field one if you're hoping to take home an LE.
