Sniping is fun, but there's no feeling like a fist fight!

I usually use a couple big figures and a bunch of pesky ones.

The Minions of Doom one. If that doesn't count, I like the Batman Ally one.

I like to change teams around a bit, keeping some of the better figs in.

I definately play around. I once used E Boomerang to knock out a Harley Quinn while she was entering the building, and knocked her back into some plants. Funny stuff!

Nope. I play my brother or I ask online. Hopefully, I'll start to play by forum soon!

I've always liked using E Ultron and E Doomsday or E Ultron and V Joker.

Cautiously aggressive.....defensive when I need to be.

No, but I never use him. I take great pleasure in defeating Firelord teams.

A little bit of both I guess, but I try to catch myself before I get obsessive about it.

Probably nothing that hasn't been thought of before. I really like using R Blue Beetle's Force Blast to knock stealth figures out of hindering terrain.

No, usually certain nights of the week, which I look forward to.

I like Ranged peices, but you have to plan on close combat.

Usually my teams have 1-3 key pieces, and the rest are support (taxis, medics, Outwit/PC) but my team building is always evolving.

Maybe one, if my team is built and has the points for it, or I can tell will need the medic due to pushing or weak dials.

Avengers is clearly the most useful, but I like MoE the best. Honestly. Used correctly and it is devastating...

I usually make a new team for every tournament... Marvel has 246 figs+LEs, and they all have uses...

I try to have fun while I'm playing, but I am serious about my games. You can have fun while playing a strategically tight game.

Rules aren't a problem for me, I'm a Judge :) I haven't palyed games against myself, mostly because my fiancee loves to play HC too!

E Batman, I think... I don't play DC, but it seems that he's that figure you have to build teams around playing against for DC.

It's a hobby that I take seriously and spend a lot of time on.

R Black Panther. He's the only Marvel figure to start with Outwit, and that ruins a lot of good close combat strategies, since most of the bricks have Invulnerability, and if that gets Outwitted they're gonna fall down quick-like.

I have an MoE team that is some fun. 5 attacks for one action... no dupes :) I'd say more but I'm gonna write an article about it for WK. They're already gonna publish one I did on a V Thor 300 point team. :) GO ME!!!

Yes, they're gonna need to spice it up a little bit eventually. I'd like to see a Hellfire Club ability, at least 1 more X-team ability, since having all the old X-Forcers and X-Factorers(? yay for making up words :) ) be X-Men is gonna get really old... I'm not good with coming up with rules though...

always aggressive, i usually make the first move, and i always push the first couple of turns, now do i win a lot.....in trouneys yes cause people do not know my play style.....friendlys with my friends no i tend to loose a lot cause they know how i play thank god they work weekends so i can play in tourneys without my friends only time i played with a close fiend in a tourney i met him in the finals at the marquee he beat me =)

I used to like sniper teams with bullseye ultron cyclops firelord but lately bruisers and bricks is the way to go she hulk and thing are hella fun to play

2 medium cost figs and rest annoyance pieces and taxis

usually one but i rarely use them so lately i dont play with medic and it fits my playstyle better i never really run back to heal i loose my rythme that way

hmmm...depends but its all about the numbers and what abilities but off the top of my head i tend to play consistant abilities and numbers until spidey comes out in Xplosion he will be in my tourney team without a doubt

jokes its got to be jokes laughing in the middle of an intense and strategic game makes it better for both sides unless of course you laughing at your opponent that i dont recommend

nah i play my roomate and practice using the team im building in preparation for tourneys it keeps me on my toes and i know my weaknesses and strengths and when i make mistakes i know not to make them again

hands down bane 5 damage and cost less than sparky (firelord in our circle of friends) what not to love im actually using bane more then firelord now

like a hobby but hobbies tend to rule my life but i do make time for family and my girl it just helps thats most of my friends are crazy about heroclix right now just like when we were crazy for magic the gathering star wars ccg etc....

rolling a crit mis when all you need is a 3 or better now thats annoying but its also part of the game just have a PC piece and the odds are in your favor but besides that playing someone who is rude thank god it hasnt crossed to HC yet magic had a lot of graysons in the tourney seen

its expensive but try carrying nightmare with V human torch for the enchancement and have dr strange follow in tandem wait till old torch head moves a running shot for 5 with a 10 range for 5 damage and then have nightmare base the poor fig now thats some madness

hmmmm a lot of threads on this one but ye game shoud be fresh and interesting with each expansion but not like magic or star wars which got complicated due to mechanic changes to the actual gaming experience
maybe some crossover powers like CCE and B/C/F to DC
for new ones maybe a ranged B/C/F maybe a perplex that lowers or raises a stat by a diceroll but that would be expensive as all hizell and brocken at that

maybe not ablitity but on a different thread someone came up with an idea that if all our team consisted of a team they would get a bonus ability like +1 to all defense or somehting like that that would be good to endorse theme teams

maybe something like a mystic or future seer type of thing where figs with the team power can see around blocking terrain, corners etc... and they can PC perplex or outwith with out LOS but hey that maybe brocken to

- A little bit of both, I tend to send my snipers in a pincer movement to stretch my enemy's forces and I plow in the middle with heavy hitters.

- Depends, I was told my Skrull team is annoying :) But I do enjoy bringing out the big 100+ points guns now and then. Such as V Doomsday, Ultron, Dr. Doom.

Checkmate or Intergang depending on the rest of the team. Intergang works great when you have hordes of doombots.

I love figs like Dr. Strange. Because there is always a way to make something useful with what you have. Even if it is only to annoy the hell out of the other guy.

It depends on the team. I normall go with a lot of weenies, but occasionally i'll get the itch to play with my Doomsday or Thor. I rarely, rarely play with a fig worth over half the team though.

Nope. I prefer using one figure for one purpose, maybe two. Figs that can't fit a purpose for more than three or four turns aren't much help to me.

I pulled a firelord in my very first starter. I played with him once, in a 800 point game where i new beforehand that my opponent was also using a Firelord. I have since cut him up for parts (his top q-tip flame makes a great fire-burst for Pyro).

For irritation either Bane or U Flash. For power, Sinestro. For power to cost ratio, nobody.

Both. I spend too much time with the game, so it could be said that it's my life, but i never try to pretend it's anything more important than a game with dice, so it's always a hobby in my mind.

Recently played around with a Faux-Hypersonic attack team made up of V Blastaar or V Annihilus and E Human Torch. 2 flyers with running shot, 8 and 10 range respectively. Torch flies around the corner carrying anni, then shoots. Anni carries torch back a few squares the extent of his range and shoots. Bam, two shots and you're 10 squares away. OR Shoot with anni first, then have Torch carry him back to safety.

Yes. Midnight Sons (stealth), Shi'ar (don't know what they should do) and Kree (still don't know what they should do).

Yes. But i don't read enough DC so the only one i've got is: Endless (This figure takes no damage. This figure may not be played. To play this figure you must break the laws of the game and reality. If you play this figure, you win, but you are disqualified.)

I use them both almost equally, but I do tend to enjoy a good HtH fight a bit more.

I think that a good team should have both of these types of figures.

Depends on my team and strategy.

AIM. They have a higher AV then any other medic (Marvel atleast) and allow adjacent figs to have +1 AV for ranged attacks. That's huge for people like me who are hated by the Dice Gods.

Sure, they're ok once you can remember what comes next on the dial.

Assuming that the Wildcards don't count, I'll say Hydra (see question 5).

Usually modify my teams, if you always use the same team, your opponents can come up with an anti-team just for you.

I'm usually fairly serious, unless I'm playing with a family member or good friend.

Call me lazy, but I don't like taking the time to fold and unfold my map if I'm not gonna have a real opponent :P. I do play myself occasionally though, like when I want to see how a new and risky team does.

I use Exp Ultron, Vet Puppet Master, and Vet Bullseye and REALLY annoy my opponents by Mind Controlling them to death.

Um, well, my combo that worked was nothing special, just really effective: V Hawkeye buddied up with a shield medic. Hawkeye was able to shoot for four clix. Very effective.

Oh, he11, I'd like to see an Alpha Flight team (because I'm an old fart) but I'm not going to kvetch about it like they were great or anything like that. Not really sure what I'd give the Canadians; maybe something like they can share attack values? My X-Men was the Byrne X-men, so my Alpha Flight would be Byrne Alpha Flight, closeted Northstar and all. As a personal fave, I'd also like to see The Inhumans as Clix. I don't expect WizKids to cater to me, however.

Whew, don't know about that. I'd just like to see figs for the teams they have set aside like Legion and Mystics. Reason is, there's not many more teams that matter. Young Justice=Titans. Batman's Outsiders can be on Batman Friends. Does anyone really WANT to see Sonic Disruptors Clix? The only other team that was interesting to me was Doom Patrol, and they got Vertigo-ized. Challengers of the Unknown aren't powerful enough. With the Metal Men, they are only five figs that do pretty much the same thing. Only a die-hard DC zombie would want that; it wouldn't be commercially viable. Too bad, too. Great Metal Men team ability: two or more MM adjacent receive a +1 perplex, stackable. So all five would add +4 to range, attack, or what-not. They formed big weird shapes all the time. So, no, I don't think DC would benefit from it. Just put more DC figs out with what they have.

Both. Keeping both represented on a team means you have more flexibility.

Both. My teams usually include one or two "big guys" like Sandman, and a lot of support figures who either bolster the big guys or act as cleanup.

Many! My personal favorite is LE Kirk Langstrom with an beatstick, providing not only the charge attack but the lingering Poison.

When it comes down to it.. Ranged combat is my favorite.
I really enjoy having decent close combat people with suprise potental as ranged attackers.. Sandman, Spiderman, black cat, captain america and wasp come to mind. With enhancement, you can do some nice bait and trap manuvers.

I like having one powerhouse with a lot of smaller, suprise attackers.

Hellfire club- when your opponent KOs a member of the Hellfire club-you may choose to give one click of damage to any one of your opponents figures. Invulnerability and toughness have no effect on this damage.
