Ok, heres the team ive been testing for 300 point Marvel games.

Ultron, Experienced- 139 points
Dr Strange, Experienced- 71 points
Doombot, Rookie- 27 points
Doombot, Rookie- 27 points
Vulture, Experienced- 20 points
Shield Medic, Veteran- 16 points

Possible Alternation- Drop a Doombot for a Rookie Black Panther for Outwit if desired.

Basically, the key is abusing Wildcard. Dr Strange gives Ultron a powerful Phasing Taxi, as well as a strong back up attacker and an easy access to Enhancement. His main purpose is his Defenders team ability. With it, Dr Stranges defense becomes Ultrons 18, 20 vs ranged due to Energy Deflection. In Hindering Terrain, it just gets uglier. Now is when the 27 point Doombots pop in. Why 54 points worth of taxi when I already have Strange and Vulture? Simple. They both get Defenders team Ability, so they share Ultrons 18 defense as well! Than you may ask, why run a Vulture as well with all the taxi power. Its not the Vultures ability to taxi that makes him make the team ( god...i NEVER saw myself saying anything along those lines before. lol ) His Sinister Syndacate ability is why. The two Doombots now have 18 defense AND 13 attacks. They are mini Ultrons now. The two doombots should carry both Strange and Ultron preferably, but you could also have Strange taxi to push into Enhancement since both Ultron AND the Doombots have Energy Explosion which they could hit large groups for. The splash damage capable is disgusting. The Shield Medic makes the rare appearance over the Experienced Aim Medic simply for her Shield team ability. Both Doombots can use it to enhance Ultrons Energy Explosion.

If based, Dr Strange can pull Ultron out of the action using Phasing without a break away. The team has two strong peices with a 10 range, and long lasting power with the stat sharing. It also can attack viciously with powered up EE. I feel its both the most balanced and solid Ultron team available in Marvel only 300 points, but also the one that can fire off with the most effect. So what do you guys say? I know its cheesy, but I feel its worth drawing attention to. Bash it for its cheesiness, I dont care. Ill just know its good that way :P

I don't think its cheezy at all. The doombots are like thugs so duping of them is no big deal at all.

It looks like a really interesting army and use of the doom wildcard ability is what's its there for.

The only thing you might want to do is find an avenger/brotherhood so you can get the free moves.

Black Panther would fill that Avengers spot. Good goobily goop... I'm going to a tournament tomorrow afternoon and I hope I don't face anyone with a team like this! But Ultron is nothing Vet Thor can't handle, right...?

Looks good. All it needs now is a cool name. How about Borg? Fits with all those bots and copying. "Resistance is futile...you will service us now!"

I hate to be the bearer of bad news... but, you can only use Dr. Strange's printed defense value. You cannot benefit from his energy shield def. How do I know this, I had a similar strategy for a tourney last weekend and it wasn't allowed. It's also stated in the FAQ under The Defenders ability rules.

Borg actually sounds pretty good! Lol. Im gonna think of some ideas over the weekend, but thats easily the best name ive heard yet besides Ultron CHeese. And it is cheese. Around here, Ultron has seen as much if not more play than Firelord and to the same success.

The free move would be VERY VERY helpful. Im gonna test between BP and the two doombots. I think i like the fourth attacker a bit better myself. But Outwit is nice too... God its up to personal preference. And to beat Firelord with it, all you do is take out their Taxi from 10 inches away and leave it out of range and helpless. Sorry, my friend brought it up so i figured id post it.
That and on average id get first hit on a Cheeselord with my 10 range attackers.

Also...vs Vet Thor...I think it would handle steelix just fine. Hit it for 1 with Ultron, than 2 with Strange, and its down to a 3 damage, or a 1 vs Ultron. Strange than pushes for 2 more, and than if u still have Invul, Ults now hits for 3 ( shield enhancement ) and your gonna have a crippled Thor IMO. And the 14 defense of Ultron stays Stranges 16 and its easy to heal with my Medic still.

Again, im glad people like it, ill post more of my teams later on, and give this bad boy a name.

Ok, I know the Energy Shield deflection is counted in seperately. But Dr Strange gets ULTRONS printed Defense value of 18. THAN you apply the Energy Shield Deflection, raising it to a 20 vs Ranged.
