Epic Hero's VS Villans Battle

[Pip the Troll]

Watching and reading all the great simulated battles and tournaments online i decided to have one of my own.

Its a hero vs villans battle spanning all 3 sets
there are no point restrictions
what i did was choose 20 charecters from heros and 20 from villans
then i added sinestro to the villans and sentinal to the heros (the sentinal is not really a villan as it has been used against magneto and other bad guys in the past)

however the point totals were sooo in favor of the villans 2921 - 2466
that i will add in 1 extra hero he ended up being the unique proffesor Xavier

i also used no generics or healers, and tried to use only the more offencive charecters only (no black panther or probablility controlers, or harly quinns)

i could jsut take out sinestro from the villans and maybe add in someone like bullseye
the vilans would still ahve more points but marvel would have a big fig plus one more fig


i just wnated to try and have somewhat close numbers while still using most of the figs and defiantly wanted to use the ebst versions of each

Point values didnt make a difference in the game like this my friends and I played. 20 figs each team, 5 actions per turn.

I was behind in points by like 400 or so, but I still won based on my figures abilities, and good dice rolls.

Dice rolls are everything. You can be a grand master strategist, but if you dont get your rolls, you are going to lose.

I say try it out the way you have it now, and just see what happens. Its just for fun anyway.

Our battle was extremely cool and it took like 2 1/2 hours to play.

I dont think thats the point though. In terms of palying a team versus tem you want to at least start on equal ground and then let skill and luck play it's roll. We know good dice rolling is a big factor but when a game doesnt at least start off on fair and even odds it taints the final result. - Terrence

im not to sure of that i looked over the teams and it may seem 300+ points will make a difference in a 3000 point game but the teams are equal in number and the points shouldnt really matter it doesnt look lopsided like all rookie heros against all veteran villains play it out and see what happens i think it will be close either way but if you do decide to take out characters try and take out a villain worht a lot and take out a hero worth very little in points so characters remain equal or vica versa add big point hero and add small costing villain

K first off all ive edited the starting teams and now point totals are almost exact
ive also changed the rules so that it is only 3 actions per turn, as well as leadership so mostly its 4 per turn
also im only playing on one map, cause i odnt have the room in my room for anything else, its the map with the 3 buildins and the park, villans got to go first so heros chose what side they wnated and took the side with 2 building and the opne on the left has 3 bushes along its right side, while the villans took the side with teh park on their right.
k now only a week late heres how things have gone so far,

These 2 armies, an epic good versus batte war, decide to meet in the middle of a city, so that in comic tradtion they can maxmize collateral damage, but no matter what happens or how many buildings fall there will be no innocents who die, because..... hats just how it works
The villans marshall their forces quickly and set forth with an advance strike, targeting what they believe to be our hero's biggest threat, The Sentinal Mark VII. So to begin, Thanos starts by flying Dr.Doom up into position so that he can strike our heros on the first turn, then Ultron moves as well taking kang into a smiliar postion, next Anhilius with perplexed ovement brings up night mare where he can uise his enhancent beside thanos and ultron and behind kang and doom. Next Doom perplexes Kangs damage to 5 then nightmare booosts it to 6. Kang laughs at the snetinal which in his mind is a feeble attempt at technology, in the eyes of a man who commands the technology of the future and he blasts the mighty sentinal for 6 damage, taking the sentinal down to its 100 pt version in one shot, what a blast by the powerful kang. THEN Dr. Doom fires away at Steel taking away his ability to do 3 damage. Next Magneto using his free move carries arcane into the battle and drops him next to Doom, while sabertooth also with a free move puts himself to the right of doom. The villans strike quickly and put alot of damage on the heros mighty sentinal, but have left them selves open to the hero's counterattack.

A counter attack that comes very quickly, as the mighty thor takes a running shot picking up both the lamppost and she-hulk, and he hurls his mighty hammer towards Doom, Doom sees it coming and is about to use arcane as a shield, when he stumbles and doesnt for batman had outwitted him and he takes thors hammer right in his chest taking 4 damage, he staggers hurt but still very much alive, but then she hulk charges forward picking up a large computer and bashes it into doom, doom prepares to blcok some of it, but the flash zooms in and helps she hulk find her way thru his defences and incredibly dr doom falls to teh ground unconscious, what a strike for the heros as they take out a villan in just their first turn. Next superman enters the fray and he runs in with the thing while picking up the soda machine, he drops thing and attepts a shot at kang but misses, then Thing chaes in picking up a crate and smashes kang for 5 damage, his armour blocks some of it but he still loses his invulverability. What a startling counterattack made by our heros. Next spiderman usues his free move and gets into a bush hiding in stealth, while vision takes swampthing into the battle to finsih of our heros turn.

The villans have been struck a mighty blow, and Darkseid quickly marshalls a counterattack. He orders Mojo, to take the enchangtress into position so she can beguile the mighty superman. And she does, rolling of all things a critical hit, giving superman a click in addition to taking control of his mind. Superman the under her controll runs over to She- Hulk and hits her for 6 damage with a pop machine, she manages to absorb some of the damage but is still badly injured. Superman then finsihes off his hypersonic move behind enemy lines in base conatct with sabertooth in plai site of the rest of the villans, while also taking more damage for having pushed himself. Enchantress then stumbles taking 2 damage form exherting herself to control such a strong will as supermans. Then Superskrull takes a perplexed running shot while carryin darkseid and fires at teh vision for 4 damage, Vision absorbs half of it but stillloses his Inv.
Then Darkseid fires a Psychic blast at swampthing taking away his capacity for 3 damage.
The heros then respond immeadiatly, as Thing pushes himself and with a grin looks at Kang and says its Clobbering Time and it sure is as thing hits the hurt kang. knocking the time traveler out of the game. What a blow in just 2 turns the villans have lost 2 of their strongest members, who combined for 392 points. Thne vision even without his phasing breaks away taking swampything and placing him into basecontact with magneto and anhilius so thye cnat shoot at superman. Visions movealso leaves a clear line of sight for flash to see ultron and outwit his inv, Steel then takes advangate and quickly brings in hercules who smokes Ultron for 4 damage, and is quickly followed by quasar taxing in Strange who does 4 more damage to ultron, and his dented armour only manages to stop one click of. Ultron takes 7 clicks of damage on the same turn that the villans lose Kang, our heros certianly arnt putting up any #### from the villans.

the good guys got firelord cause he is a good guy,
he neevr was really a bad guy, he became galactus's herald to save his captain or osmething, ands he has since left galactus's employ and is most definatly a hero now
hes since fought on the side fo he avengers many times, as well as hes worked with the Infinity Watch, and even lived with Eros and Drax for awhile
also he fought on the side fo the heros in the Infinity Gauntlet and War, but was beguiled by the Goddess in Infinity Crusade (along with half of Marvels heros) cause he was Pure of heart, so i think that makes him a good guy :)

The villans are hurting, but thanks to their rtaher large ego's they are still supremly confident. Confidence that Sinestros knows he must bolster or even it could fail. So he acts quickly and outwits superman's defences and fires away with a multi shot, doing 7 damage to arguably the heros strongest member. But miarculsy even after taking 9 clciks of damage so far superman still stands altho in such a weakened sate that he is no longer a threat. Thne anhilius breaks away form swampthing and does a running shot against hercules that bolstered by niightmare does 3 damage to hercules, then Thanos immeadiatly hits hercules again for damage that is bolstered by nightmare as well. Amazingly hercules still stads and shows why he is indeed a hero as he can still deal 3 damage and will be bale to finsih off ultron next turn, so Nightmare acts quickly and incapacitates him stuuning him for one pushed damage. The villans while hurting are now looking very strong as they taken superman out of the battle for the most part and hurt hercules terribly.

Our hero's act quickly knowing they need to keep their momentum. Moondragon flys her fellow telepath Xavier in and he takes over the alian mind of Anhilius commanding him to push himself and kill off the wounded Ultron. Another of the villans strongest has fallen in as many turns. Thne thor flys in for a running shot on anhilius, and as he lest fly with his mystical hammers he misses, and staring in disbelief at his missed throw he fails to catch his hamers return and takes it full in the chest staggering and damaging him on his own attack, as Thor curses himself for his stupidty he knows he msut imprrove his aim if the heros are to winj. Not wanting to be left out the sentinal enters the fray carrying the Mr. Fixit into the fray, as the rest of the heros rest up.

k now back to work but will update the next turn in an hour or so

The villans angered by the loss of another of their allies, rush forward as the superskrull does a running shot at vision doing 4 dmaage as hes assisted by darkseid to bypass the Visions defence. Then mojo who had been carried up by the superskrull attempts to gain control over Thor's mind and suceeds, altho is hurt in the middle of wills as well, next he commands Thor to turn and strike out at the sentinal which thor does 4 damges to, before he realizes that he is not in his own mind, apparently he can miss his enemies but has no problem hitting his allies.
Next sabertooth gets involved as he runs forward and uses his claws on thing doing 4 damage altho the thing manages to block half of it, Next Blastaar flies down form the roof carrying bane and lands in front on mojo and superskrull effectivly protectig them.

Our the h eros react rather quickly as Hercules hits for 2 damages on anhilius as hes helped by flash to get thru his defences, while She hulk, mr fixit and the thing all attack sabertooth, who still maanges to saty conscious. Our heros seem to have lost alot of their momentum as they have failed to kill anyone on their forth turn, but then the villans havnt taken anyone out at all.

The villans can feel the momentum completly switchiong their way and again Sinestro seems to lead the way as he outthik the vision and with his multi attack deals 8 damage to the Vison KOing the first hero in expolosive fashion. The villan dont stop here as nightmare strikes out at hercules KOing him as well, The heros have lost not one, but 2 of their member this turn. Next both thanos and arcane strike out at Dr. strange and hit him very hard, leaving strange on the very edge of consciuousnes but still on his feet. What a trun for the villans as things begin to loook grim for our heros.

Our heros are staggering and know they must do soethin drastic so she hulk pushes to attack sabewrtooth and try to finish him off but while she does hit he still stands, what does it take to put Mr. Creed down? next steel moves thin over towards anhiius, strange moves back to thor and finally Quasar puts up a barrier to protect his allies form the mind controll of their opponents. The heros needed somethin big but instead fell back inot a more defensive posture.

The tide has swung to the villans and things are heating up but there is stilll many many more warriors in this battle and they will fight on.

Our villans with a seeming command over the battle take stock and decide what to do, when they realize that alot of their forces are tied up but jsut one figuire. Swampthing is tieing up 3 of their figures so they decide to quickly get rid of this threat, as they odnt acre to waste the actiosn egtting thru Quasar's barrier,
So bane strikes first getting 4 dmaage past swampthings touchness, as he puts those steroids to great use. knocking back swampthing 4 spaces, next Blastaar tries to finsih him off, but he missses, He had been out of the battle for so long that when it was time to make his first attack he was rusty enuff that he missed, Magneto looks over at him in disgust as the rest of the viillans chuckle at teh lowly blastaar who couldnt hiet a dying swampthing, Magneto then strikes and the master of Magnetism finsishes off Swampthing then looks over at Blastaar telling him hes jsut not in the same class as teh real super villans such as himself. Sabertooth also takes this moment to try and regenerate form his wounds but only manages to heal one hit point. The heros have lost another, but it wanst in vain as swampthings death took most of the villans trun to complete. The villans even with killing swampthing are somewhat dispointed in their turn.

Next our heros prepare for another assault as Moondaron aagins takes in Xavier who this manages to take over the mind of Thanos, but the mental battle is not without its toll on xavier, then using thanos, xavier turns and strikes out at his arch enemy magneto doing 3 damage to the master of magnetism, severly hurting his one time friend. Next mr fantastic runs up putting himself into the battle and in between the telepaths and any retalitory attack from thanos, Finally Quasar pushes himself to set up another barrier.

The vilans decide to not push their charecters and decide instead to marshall their forces and brin more warrirs into the battle. Sinestro moves up with doomsday, then darkseid moves up as well so he is with mojo, bane, blastaar, superskrul as well as sinestro and doomsday. Then juggernaut moves into the fray as well picking up the dumpster on his way. Finally Dr. Octopus with a perplexed attack finsihes of the man of steel,who had done nothing that him still being there helped inspire his teamates and Octopus wnated nothing of it. So now the heros have lost 4 of their own, and teh villans have moved into 2 main battle formations. In the middle of teh map tye have anhilius (very injured with only a 6 attack) Nightmare, Thanos, Juggernaut, and Arcane none of whom were injured, as well as the injured Magneto and the near death Sabertooth. While a 2nd group is off in fornt of the park consisting of Sinestro, Doomsday, Bane, Blastaar, Mojo, Darkseid, Superskrull, while enchantress is still in the park, Octopusis on the ground at home base, and one the distant rooftop Brainiac is there with the Key just waiting for the right opening.

The heros know now is the time to act, and they quickly do. First she hulks leaps off towards the building behind spidey, while this first looks like a move of coawdice, it soon becomes apparent that its part of a plan as this allows flash to see Thanos and outwit his mighty defences and then starnge shows that even when injured hes still a threat and he brings in Thor who smashes thanos with a lamppost for 6 damage as well as incapaciting the mighty eternal. What a blow and what teamwork the heros show. next mr fantastic pushes himselfintop the battle again and comes into contact with nightmare, anhilis and thanos, while pushiong himself to his invulnerbility click. However teh heros are still wide open form Sinestro forces to their left. seeing the imminnent danger to those hes programmed to protect, the sentinal moves over blocking off sinestros forces form his own, a valinet move my the sentinal but one that will prove costly, as he faces a very refrwshed villans army. The heros are looking very battered but they stilll have alot fo forces in reserve. As Firelord, cyclops, logan, wolverine, rogue, white queen, invisible girl, batman, even the Hulk, Thye need to get these heros int teh battle quickly if they wnat to win this war.


Thats all i ahve done so far, i wll do some more turns tonite and hoepfu;lly post some more tommrow

I know the Heroes have lost a lot of figs but they havn't brought out many people to battle yet like the Hulk. This fig can tear up anyone that gets in his path too. Plus the Villains have some of their people injured.

Hey I've never read a comic with Thanos in it. Could you tell me what he uses for his long attacks? Thanks, and the battle is going pretty good. I'm doing it right now.

ahh man
thanos is a sweet marvel charecter that has gone thru greta charecter development over the years
for ranged attacks he basically uses Force Blasts, he also has super strength, on a level with everyone else
he also has delved into the mystical arts, and has certain mind powers as well, and knows how to access the astral plane
but his greatest weapon tends to be his intellect he tends to always thionk ahead of his enemies and u can especially see that in Infinty War, Infinity Crusade, Infinity Abyss as well as other various appearances

i didnt like putting him on the bad guys team because i dont really view him as a villian, altho he definatly started out as one, and when he had the infinity gems he destroyed half of the galaxys population
but since then he has changed and has saved the galaxy on numerous occasiions, and latly has pursued science instead of battle

hes an aweome chareter i would recomend reading all of the Infinty seriies
Gauntlet, War, Crusade, and Abyss which jsut came out last year

anwyyas sorry for going on but he is one of my favorite marvel charecters

Thanks Troll. I would like to read about him since he sounds pretty cool. Well you might be dissapointed in my story write up because I have him as the villain, but I'll post it up tomarrow. Also if he has super strength I wonder why wizkids didn't make the clix fig have it? They have done a few bad things to some of their clix like Spiderman not having SS. O well thx again, and keep the battle reports comming in.

and viper it great that u r having a thor vs thanos battle cause they fought last year in comics altho it wanst the real thanos but one of his clones that he made, and most people im sure still view him as a bad guy, thx for the commments and without further adue, heres some of the action that happened last nite.

The villans amazed by the vicisous strength behind Thor's attack, attack stumble for the first time. Their leaders fail for the first time to provide battlefield leadership and the villans look to fall into chaos. Having no orders given by their leaders Bane and doomsday merly do what they do best and lash out with their incredible strength. As each of them grab one of the sentinals legs they amazingly topple the mighty robot to the ground. As the sentinal hits the ground all of its systems immeadiatly crash as the robot goes offline for good. Next Superskrull not wantng to be outdone by the terrans lashes out at Quasar knowing that the pretty boy who is basically a spacefaring Leo Di Caprio needs to be taught a lesson. And he connects searing Quasar for 4 damage. When things looked grimmest for the villans as their leadership faltered, they still managed to show that maybe pure power is enough to win this battle.

Our hero's now stand in awe, as they watch the mighty sentinal fall to the ground. Then they look over and see Quasar bloody and brusied from the staggering blow he took from the Superskrull. The leaders of the hero's become so concerned for their fallen comrade that they take their minds off the battle at hand. The pompous Whit Queen looks in disgust at her leaders. She was already pissed at having being kept out of the battle thus far. She orders Rogue to carry her over the building and behind Sinestros forces, knowing she must deal with the large looming threat that is sinestro. The white queen then notices enchantress sitting under the shade of a tree in the park, and while shes very injured Emma knows she is still useful and immeadiatly a plan forms in her mind. She lashes out with her mind taking over the injured enchantresses mind, then using her mind powers against her allies she takes over darkseids mind as well. Then Emma uses Darkseid to mindcontroll yet another oppentent and as he takes over the mind of Mojo, then mojo thinking hes in his right mind decides to perplex up the damage of Bane, to help his fellow villan but doenst relaize that he is being used as he too using his mind to take control of banes actions, and finally we see the fruition of the white queen's plan as the flash slashes in and outwits sinestro's defence and bane then turns and his the mighty yellow giant for a staggering 6 damage. Wow what a turnaround white queens plan to damage sinestro has caused so much side damage as well. Emma with a look of superiority merly smiles, knwoing that she should be the one in control of the hero's forces. The hero's other arogent member, Moondragon does not wnat to be left out and she takes over control of the muddled mind of doomsday, and orders him to take another shot at the mighty sinestro. Sinestro armour only manages to absorb a little as he takes 4 more damage. What a turn of events as the m,ighty Sinestro takes 10 damage in just one turn. Up to this point the villans seemed to be in control but iyt looks like white queen may have chnaged the tide.

K quickly a recap damage wise of what happened there cuase it was alot
enchantress took 1 clickback from MCing Darkseid
Darkseid took 1 clickback for MCing Mojo
Bane took 1 clickback from pushing
Moondragon took 1 clickback from MCing Doomsday
Doomsday takes 1 clickback from Pushing
and of coarse sinestro took 10 damage

lol when that worked i was laughiong, it was a cool play and i only wish i could have the chance to do somethin like that in a game :)

That was funny when you called Quasar Lineardo Dicaprio. lol. Geez that was an awsome play when you mced a bunch of people and hurt sinestrio pretty bad. I'm going to go type up the battle report of Thanos and Thor in a few minutes. Great post

k back again
yea viper i know hulk needs to get in there but with only 3 or 4 actions the heros are finding it hard to waste any on getting the hulk into battle, which may turn out to be a mistake and only time will tell, i gues the hulk is just chicken and is afraid of doc octopus :)

The villans have just taken a huge hit so they move fast, this time with co-ordinated attacks, first Thanos and Nightmare work together to doubleteam the mighty thor who is the strongest member of the hero's. The 2 villans combine to get 2 damage past the God of thunder, while it doenst seem like much they know they have to start wittling down his defences. Next the Superskrull moves knwoing he needs to cripple his enemies ability to mind control he sees an opening and pushed himself to take it as he fires dealing 4 damage to proffesor xavier, a deafening blow, to the crippled man, who thanks to his injuries can no longer focus on controlling his bladder nevermind his enemies minds. Then Blastaar attempts a shot at another mind controller but again the fumbling villan misses Moondragon. Blastaar has now missed 2shots in as many attempts. If the villans wernt in such dire straights they would laugh out right. Magneto looks over at Blastaar telling him that hes no villan, hes not even a man, merly a walking embaresment, while superskrull shouts at him in frustration for his miss. Blastaar responds saying that if he was shooting at cripples he wouldnt miss either. Humiliated Blastaar knows he must prove his worth in this battle.

White Queen feeling good, about the turn before acts quickly pulling the same trick. But this time she cant use enchatress to do her dirty work as she is too hurt to control the wills of men, so Emma taking over the mind of Darkseid uses him to take over Mojo who agains perplexes the damage of bane and forces him to hit sinestro again, doing another 6 damage to the jolly yellow giant. The White Queen tired after the exhertion is satisfied that she may have saved her inferior comrades form defeat and knows she must rest. Next Batman finally charges into the battle as he hops onto the edge of the roof and outiwts Doomsdays impervious. Then Rogue needing to get away form the arrogent White Queen and feeling the need to prove her worth pushes herself and charges forward to deal 3 damage to Doomsday, then Flash runs by ouwitting Doomsdays CCE.
Next the avengers act quicly moving them selves around to prepare for the next round as she-hulk runs to protect the white queen and Quasar flies to the roof to get wolverine, while spidie moves in behind white queen. Finally Logan angered at missing all the action gets the Invisible woman to take him into the fray as they land beside blastaar. Our heros take advantage as they push themselves in an effort to deal maximum damage.

The villans see the hero's marshalling their forces and bringing in their reserves so they act fast. Doc Oc and Mojo perplex Juggernaut's damage to 6, and Magneto TK's him over to Logan. Juggernaut then with the help of sinestro's outwit smashes with a dumpster for 8 damage. Logan looks up and before he can say anything falls unconscious to the ground. Juggie looks down, Nothing can stop the Juggernaut, especially not a pipsquek like you. Wow what power Juggernaut Knocksout out Logan with one hit before logan can even land a blow. The rest fo the villans then use this time to rest up as Sabertooth heals himself for 2 life, while arcane moves over to tie up Moondragon, thing, xavier and the whte queen. Finally anhilis breaks away and moves over to darkseid protecting them him from white queen. The villans again flex their muscle as another hero falls.

The hero's react quickly knowing they need to get thor out of danger, but he fails to break away, fortunatly Dr. Strange doest as he takes Thor back to rest near moondragon. Thne Mr. Fixit not wanting the kitty kat to regain his claws bashes sabertooth for 2 damage unduing as healing that was done. Meanwhile Batman outwits Doomsdays CCE, while Flash outwits sinestros outwit. Then the heros look up towards the building back in the corner and see a figure flying with flames everywhere, is it the human torch? (no hes not in this game because someone made him underpowered not mentioning any names.... Jon liethusser...... :) jk keep up the good work, and keep the heroclix coming) its firelord as he carries cyclops to the edge of the roof, where cyclops unleashes an optic blast that rips into Magneto for 4 damage. Leaving Magento staggering and gasping for breath but still on his feet. Meanwhile those close to blastaar could hear him mutter at least i can dodge a big red blast aimed at my head.....
The rest of the heros rest up and are helped again as mre of their reserves come into the battle.

Well if the heroes end up winning, I'd have to say that the MVP would have to be White Queen, cuz of those 12 clicks on sinestro and those countless clicks that the mcers took.

anywyas i just finsihed the battle and man did it take forever, i have like 15 pages of notes, so this will take awhile to post but hopefully i should have it all posted up by thursday at the latest, lol depends on how lazy im feeling

With Mojo and Magneto hurt the villans only have Blastaar left who has leadership and with his poopy battle record none of the villans listen to him, but do snicker behind his back. So the villans move on without any leadership. Superskrull again steps to the fore and attacks rogue hitting her for 3 damage altho she manages to absorb some of it. Next Mojo brings Bane towards she-hulk and white queen, but bane's might falls short of hitting White Queen as he is stunned by this sexy woman's amazing body and beautilful legs, he realizes he can not bring himself to hit her, much to the chargrin of his teammates, Why dont u buy her flowers u idiot shouts Mojo, man if he wanst my teammate id have him cancelled.. CANCELLED I tell you Mojo shouts. Bane meanwhile contemplates the merits of wooing the beautilful white queen. Meanwhile Anhilius tries to make the best of the failed offencive and taxi's in Darkseid to outwit Emma's mind control. It seems these villans have learnt from their mistakes.

Quasar now takes the oportunity to swing back into the battle carrying wolverine into combat with darkseid. Batman then runs to the corner of the roof and outwits Darkseid's defences allowing Wolverine to do osme snickity snickt on Darkseid. However Wolverine must still be hung over as he only manages to hit Darkseid for one damage, Darkseid laughs saying that if your the best at what you do, no wonder you hero's arnt much of a challenge. She-Hulk then lashes out hitting Mojo. Next White Queen sickened by banes romantic advances lashes out at him with a psychic blast when he tries to kiss her, but she misses, what a crucial miss for the white queen as she knows Bane angered over her "betrayal" will strike back hard, this is gonna cost her more than just her pride and she knows it.

Blastaar feeling useless and unliked, like a human in avalon, comes upon an idea, if he cna't hit anyopne he can call in those who can. He radios in reinforcements, and Brainiac 13 enters the fray bringing The Key in to Mind control Firelord and with the help of octopus's perplex he suceeds. As he uses Firelord to run and hit cyclops for 5 damage. Cyclops looks at Firelord no understanding and thinking that maybe all the people who post on HC Realms were right, maybe Firelord is a badguy...... then he realizes that no, those people are only misguided for firelord is a fighter for justice and was mind controlled to turn on his teammate and blast his friend to the brink of consciousness. Blastaar is very satisfied with his plan, but annoyed at the fact that he probably just saved magnetos life..... wel its for a greater cause that i saved that ingrates life...... Next Sinestro outiwts White Queen's super senses and Bane angered at his rejection hits white queen knocking her out of the battle, he looks donw at her limp body and apologizes saying hes sorry but if he cnat have her then noone can. Then to finsih off the villans amazing turn darkseid takes control of logans mind and uses his claws to finsih off Quasar as another hero drops to the ground, when Wolverine regains his senses all he cna say is I dont like boyscouts anyway,
The villans finsih their turn as darkseid outwits batmas outiwt and key outwits firelords RCE. What a powerful attack by the vilans as we can see what they can do when they are organized.

The heros react fast the the new threat of brainiac and key as flash runs over and outwits brainiac's super senses while firelord and cyclops team up to blast the key into oblivion taking him form the game just after hed entered it. After losing 2 of their own the hero's retaliate quickly by depositing of a villan. Batman then attacks Darkseid for 3-1 damage knocking him back 2 squares as well, as darkseid now gains RCE, Batman proving again that he can hold his own against any foe even a cosmically powered one such as darkseid. Next Rogue lashes out at Doomsday hitting him for 2-1 damage and healing herslef a click as well. The hero's have reacted quickly and efficently showing that even in the midst of a battle they can still work together well.

It seems that Blastaar was a one trick pony when it came to tactics as he fails to come up with a new plan this time around, so the villans fall back to bruiser tactics as sinestro outwits she hulks toughness and mojo attacks draining one life, then he and octopus perplex enchantresses damage to 3 and she is able to kill off the she-hulk, showing that she is still in this war. Arcane then moves in and ties up Thor, Moondragon and Strange so they can not move back into the battle, while sabertooth breaks away and runs to hide behind Magneto, while anhilius fails his breakaway roll. The villans keep their momentum rolling as another hero has fallen this turn.

As the hero's are readying themselves for action and their leaders prepare some strategy, the loners and hotheads on the team decide to go into action on their own accord, ignoring any leadership making it invalid this go around. First Batman outwits anhilius toughness alowing wolverine to attack with his claws on his unprotected hide, but agai wolverine fails to produce as he only manages 2 damage, Profesor Xavier sends wolverine a telepathic message telling him he needs to work with the team if they hope to win. Next Rogue attacks doomsday for 3-1 and drains 2 life from the monster as he falls unconscious to the ground and Rogue is returned to full health. She looks to wolverine and with a wink Thats how you do it Sugah. The thing feeling left out then rushes in at thanos. Its clobbering time bub as he hits the mad titan for 3 which is absorbed a little by thanos's remaining armour. Meanwhile Thor fails to break away from arcane while spidey runs behind the villans and gets ready to pick off the dying sabertooth and magneto.

was up tooo late finsihing off this battle
oh well
here goes

As another villan falls Blastaar knows he must rally his team, but they dont want to listen to him, he knows he needs to get them relaxed and reay to work together, but what can he do.... Ah i know i will telll joke, so Blastaar being Irish (he later moved to the negative zone) tells his team an irish joke,
theres 3 guys A frech guy, russian and an Irishman and they all go into a bar and order a beer, frech guy gets his beer and theres a fly in it, Mon Dieu he says theres a fly in my Beer I will not drink this, Russian guy gets his beer and theres a fly there also, he looks down, shrugs, picks out the fly and downs the beer. Then the irish guy gets his beer and sees a fly there as well so he grabs they fly and starts hitting it on the back.. Spit it out he says Spit it out, thats my beer. The team bursts into laughter and Blastaar uses this moment of levity to instute another plan.
Sinestro outwits rogue invulnerbility and the skrull hits her 3 plus knocking her back into the wall dealing her more damage, as she takes 4. Next Brainiac does a ranged combat attack on thing hitting him for 4, but the things thick hide manages to block half of it, Nightmare follows quickly incapacitating the mighty thing, giving him another damage. Finally sinestro moves into the corner prtecting darkseid from batman.

The hero's still laughing from Blastaar's joke fail to make any organized plans this turns. Batman seeing the loooming sinestro before him, attacks him and amazingly sinestro falls uncoscious to the ground, even batman is unsure how he pulled that off but happpy nonetheless, Next Mr Fantastic continues the assault on thanos hitting him for 2 which thanos's manages top deflect half of. Next Moondragon gains control over arcanes mind and orders him to run to the top of the roof, getting the pesky bug out of the heros way. Finally flash outwits Brainiacs RCE, as the team rests for the next assault.

The villans disapointed iwth Blastaars leadership the turn before as it got the mighty sinestro killed, and with blastaar ou of jokes they move on without his advice. Mojo quickly starts things mindcntrolling wolverine, allowing Anhilius to taxi wolverine up to Batman, wolverine them turns his claws on the caped crusader hitting him for 6 damage, it finally seems as tho wolverine is able to hit for damage too bad its on his own team. Arcane waking up finds himself on the rooftop in the middle of nowhere so he quickly brings himself back down to exactly where he just was tieing up the heros again. Thanos then retaliates on thing hitting him for 3 as hes boosted by nightmare's assistance, thing manages ot absorb the tinest bit of the damage as he takes 2. Finally magneto grabs thanos taking him off to safety.

The leaders of the heros regain their senses and use this opportunity to marshall their forces. Flash outwits brainiacs RCE, allowing Mr.Fixit to move to brainiac iwthout fear. Then steel runs off to the rooftop to get the hulk knwing for osme reaosn that this move will make someone very happy (im thinking of silver viper :) ) then firelord moves him and cyclops down so they can shoot at juggernaut, while spiderman from his hidden perch sees magneto, and he lets fly with an attack on the master of magnetism and magneto falls to the ground unconscious, and spiderman gets his first KO. Blastaar seeing magneto fall in battle mutters to himself, that cocky mutat couldnt dodge a bus, not to mention he msut be some kind of wimp if a little bit of webbbing knocked him unscious, lol i can see it now oh no soft silky webbing pleaseeeee anythin but that HAHA, as we can see blastaar does tend to hold a grudge.
Another succesful attack for the heros as another villan falls in battle.

The villans move quickly as anhilius breaks away fro wolverine and moves to protect darkseid, while juggernaut breaks away form invisible woman and picks up a dumpster on his way. Next skrull moves himself and taking pity on blastaar takes him as well, over to darkseid, anhilius and juggie as the villan gather togetehr to plan an attack. Meanwhile Arcane puts himself to use and KO's dr strange, and while strange was no threat he was still a useful taxi and the heros again lose more mobility. The villans follwoing teh heros lead use this time to marshall their forces and kill off a wekaer member of teh heros.

The heros strike back fast as moondargon again mind controlls arcane allwoig thor to take him over to anhilius allowing arcane to finsih of Anhilius as another vilan falls in battle. batman angered by the fact that the villans dont see him as a threat anymore as hes on his last click, decides to show them why they are mistaken, he outwit's banes toughnes then doubleshots bane and mojo hitting them both for one as mojo loses mindcontrol and perplex, never understimate batman as he will kep fighting to the end. Next steel pushes himself and bring the hulk into teh battle as steel gains RCE. Mr Fantastic then moves forward putting himself into contact with skrull, blastaar and juggernaut teing them all up with his plastic body while flash runs over and outwits juggs superstrength making him drop the dumpster that hes carrying.

Sorry to be a nit-picker, but:

You are not allowed to use RCE combined with Outwit or Perplex (Like you did with Kang, Dr. Doom and Nightmare) and may not carry a MCed Wolvie with you Annihilus because that would end the MC-action and starting Annihilus action so Wolvie would be the opponents character again (MC lasts only for the following action, not the whole turn).

i know where u r coming from
but i changed a couple of the rules in this game
i allowed Perplex, and enhancement to work with RCE and CCE (mojo perplexed banes damage up twice)
as fro outwit i didnt use it in conjenction wiyth RCE or CCe as i outwitted an enemy, its the same as you can perplex an opponents defence donw by one ten RCE them
its just that the charecter using RCE or CCE cnat do the outwitting
and im pretty sure i didnt do that
also with the MC maybe i was wrong but i thought u had that chrecter in your control until THEY made an action and once u used that charecter then ulost them, and since anhiilius only carried him it idnt cost an action form wolverine until he attacked
bnut i could be wrong about that
its just how i read the rules and its been played that way in our tournies as well.

On we go

Again the villans move on without any leadership, and they do it iwth style
mojo starts it off my finishing off the pesky batman, as he fires a force blast that drops the crimefighting detective. Mojo Luaghs with gless CANCELLED--CANCELLED i say jsut like yer movies especially after the 4th installment, how mr freeze gained 100 pounds i will never know. Next Nightmare not wanting ot be left out lashes out at the Thing and fells the mighty ben Grimm unconscious. Upon seeing this the other members of theh fantastic 4 are quickly angered and this anger gives them strength. Next thanos moves and takes nightmare over to engage mr fixit, as the villans end their succesful turn killing off 2 of the hero's.

Next the heros under excellant leadership get ready to strike back. Firelord strikes first and unleashes his might upon sabertooth who is tieing him up and kills the annoying cat, who finally runs out of his nine lives. Next rogue moves towards wolverine getting him ready for battle, while hulk moves towrads nightmare to engage him in battle. Meanwhile spiderman takes advange and incapacitates Thanos dealing another damage to the mad titan. The rest fo teh superheros are either resting or in Base contactwith teh villans so they merly prepare for the next turn.

The villans react quicly as brainiac breaks away and takes tanos back to doc octopus, so as to give thanos time to regenerate, Thanos is very thankful for this moments reprieve and doc oc welcmes the compnay, as hes been al alone for most of teh battle thus far, so him and brainiac sit down for some Tea and crumpets, meanwhile darkseid knwoing that rogue will carry wolverine down to attack him, strikes out first hitting wolverine for 4 dmage, 3 of which get past wolverines battle hardened toughness hurting the feral man. finally arcane being his usual pesky self runs over to cyclops and firelord to incapacitate them. Even without leadership it seems these villans are an efective fighting force.

Meanwhile the heros are again led by the independant solo actions of their hotheads as hulk refusing to listen to his leaders, pushes and attacks nightmare, he misses but is still able to get himself to more better clicks. Meanwhile Rogue pushes herself and talkes wolverine down to meet darkseid so he can try and finsih off the villan, Wolverine unleashes his claw and attacks darkseid in a flurry of claws, but wolverine is so caught up in his fury that he misses darkseid totally, wolverin had the opportunity to finsih off darkseid but he fails miserably, Darkseid looks over and laughs at wolverine who after his miserable performance so far cnat really say hes the best at anything, unless its hitting his own teamates.

back beside the building in view of that group is, moondrgon and xavier, beside them is firelord and cyclops who are engaged by arcane tieing them up

over on the far side is steel, hulk, and mr fixit enaged against Nightmare
hidden nearby in a bush is spiderman who has clear range to nightmare

back at the opponents base is thanos, brainiac and doc octopus

i hope thats somewhat understandable

the battle rages on

The villans again strike without leadership, showing that they dont need it to destroy the hero's. darkseid takes full advantage of wolverines lack of combat expertise and fires at him with a force blast, but wolverines heightened senses kick in and he sees it coming, so he attempts to dive out of the way, but the blast came too quickly and catches wolverine, by the mallest ofmargins as wolverine falls uncoscious to the ground. Next Mojo attacks rogue as he attempts to use her own life force to heal himself, and he succeds draining a click of energy form her and into himself. Meanwhile thanos too attempts to heal himself but he misses his opportunity as he cant heal himself at all.

The hero's seeing wolverine fall strike back quicly as flash run over and outwits arcane's impervious hide, allowing fiorelord to hit him for 5 damage and smashes the bug into a wall causing even more harm to it for a total of 6 damage, next cyclops fires away at the bug as well finsihing it off for good, Cyclops and Firelord stand victorious over the bug, Flash laughng points out that they remind him of the Men in Black, and that his mother could use their assistance with a cockroach problem she has, as the hero's share a laugh the battle continues around them. Invisible woman moves thor for a shot at darkseid and thor scores a hit for 3-1 damage on darkseid he stumbles badly injured. Another succesful trun for our heros as they strike quickly and without mercy.

Meanwhile Blastaar again takes a hand in leading the villans as he communicates with Brainiac commanding him to MC Mr.Fantatsic and ordering the genius away form the villans freeing them up and placing Red Richads far off in a bush, so the hindering terrrain will stop him form getting right back into battle. Next both mojo and octopus perplex skrulls damage to 5 and blastaar carries him for a shot at Thor, which hits for 5 -2 damage on the Thinder GOd, who is badly hurt by the attack and loses his invulvernability. At last Juggernaut freed form Reed Richards moves over picks up the dumpster and protects darkseid. A well thought out battle plan this turn as it seems the villans can be helped by some leadership.

The hero's quickly rally as steel taxi's in te Hulk who while still not into his good clicks smashes Darkseid and knocks hhim out of the battle, (looks like viper was right, and hulk is just warming up), Nest Mr Fantastic pushes himself gaining his Inv. back and movces into base contact with the superskrull, while xavier badly injured tells moondragon to sacrifice him as he cna tie up their opponents, so she TK's him into the midst of the conflict allowing him to tie up superskrull, juggernaut and blastaar. What a valient and selfless move by the hero's foremost leader. Before goin he tells Cyclops that it is up to him to carry on the legacy.

The villans deciding to go with Blastaar's leadership after the succesful turn before, move out wityh determination./ Nightmare knowing hes in trouble and badly outnumber attacks mr fixit hoping to do some damage and he does hitting 3, only 1 of which is absrbed by Fixits toughness. Mojo then perplexes his own damage up to 2 and attacks Rogue killing her by draining of more of her life force as he now regains poison. The doc octopus moves into teh battle as he runs to be with Mojo. Meanwhile the forgotten Enchantress takes this time to fire at steel, but Shaq utilizes his basketball skills and dodges her lame attack, mmm he says thats why women dont play in the NBA.

The hero's seeing nightmare all alone act fast and attack him in full force. Flasg runs in and outwits nightmare's defences, allowing firelord a clear shot which scores home dealing 5 damage to the lord of dreams, this is followed by mr fixit who hits for 3 more, and ten spidie fires delaing the final 2 damage and knocking the previously uninjured nightmare out of the game. These hero's once again show the teamwork that hey know will win this battle for them. Finally the Invisible woman taxi's thor over to the mailbox, which thor quickly picks up.

this leaves all of the villans over bewteen the park and the building
and the hero's spread out a bit in the centre of the map with some of tehm against the side of teh building.

it is now 12 hero's left against the remaing 9 villans

Actually your first move was illegal in terms of perplexing Kang's damage. You can not use perplex and/or enchancement if you're going to use RCE... So you could have done a 4 points with Kang and RCE or 4 points with perplex/enchancement.

Just pointing that out, though a bit late.

k jsut got home from a tournament toniet whioch i won :), got a unique manbat for my troubles
hope everyone else had just a good a nite
now on with the typing

The villans seeing how well thye work together continue to follow Blastaar's plan. Blastaar seems much more confident now that magneto is no longer dragging him down. Blastaar calls back to thanos telling him to rest up and heal himself, Thanos does healing 3 hitpoits and while still injured is now ready to get back in the fight. Next Braiiac see's an openingt and mind controls steel, ordering him to attack hulk, thanks to the mindcontrol of brainiac Steel or Shaq(as i like to cal him) see's hulk but thinks that hes actually Kobe, and jealous over Kobe's recent succes, Steel launches an attack at hulk but at the last minute he remebers something.. very faintly, he almost sees thru the illusion and this distraction makes him doubt making his hammer go wide of the mark as he misses the hulk, Brainiac growls in anger, telling Blastaar that Steel failed. So to punish Steel Blastaar oders ju8ggernaut to attack Steel with dumpster and Mojo and Octopus perplex his damage to 6, allowing Juggernaut to crush Steel for 8 damage and while steel's armour blocks a bit its still enuff to knock Steel out, Ha Shaq says Juggernaut looks like the lakers aint winning this year. Finally superskrull uses this opportunity to break away and set up for the next round. Another succesful atack bu the villans and another hero has fallen.

Xavier now in the midst of teh battle, orders his men into action, cyclops move first httting enchantress for 3 damage that is partially blocke by her toughness so she takes only 2. Next Mr Fixit pushes himself to run towards teh battle that is now raging out in fornt of the park, picking up a bookcase on his way. (yes the bookcase was lying in the middle of the street, i dont know why, but if you tune into unsolved msyteries tonite, they will be discussing this) Next teh Flash moves again to use his pestering outwit, this time outwitting Blastaar's toughness. Seeing an opening on the villans field commander the hulk quickly attacks for 2 damage. then Mr Fantastic also gets in on the action as he too hits Blastaar for 2 damage. The hero's have now hurt blastaar enuff, thats hes angered his defence has gone up to 19 and hes not in a fit of rage, no longing caring about battle tactics he only wnats to punish the puny hero's. No vilans were killed this round but the hero's have put 4 dmaage to blataar who hadnt been hurt to this point.

The villans angered over the assault on their leader look for revenge, and Doc Octopus knows where to get it from, he sees the mastermind behind the hero's actacks and unleashes his mechanical arms grabbing xaviers wheelchair and tipping him out, as xavier hits the groud his head bunces off a rock and he too fallas into unconsciousness. Seeing The Professor fall Cyclops lets out a cry of anguish, while the arrogent Moondragon only shakes her head, I mean who goes into an Epic War in a wheelchair, i mean whatd he expect to happen. Next Thanos, takes ot the air and taxi's Brainiac into range, Brainiac then fires a ranged combat attack at firelord hitting home for 4 damage on the fiery haired hero. Meanwhile the rest of the villans take turn using teh wheelchair to pull wheelys while they rest up.

its now 10 hero's vs 9 villans

The hero's outraged at their leaders demise, and having noone to lead them on the field of battle strike back furiously. Firelord lets fly a blast that hits the mighty Thanos dead on and drops him unconscious to the ground. If only Thanos still pocessed the infinity gems, this battle would have been over long ago. Next spiderman noticing that Brainiac is pushed Incapacitates him hruting Brainiac making him lose his impervious defence. Next the Invisible woman attacks Brainaic as well getting 1 damage by his defences as he loses his ability to controll minds as well. A very succesful trun by teh heros who knocked down thanos and rendered brainiac very much less efective.

The vilans without any leadership begin to stumple, juggernaut moves first as he picks up a dumpster and moves over to the Hulk. meanwhile the dying enchatress moves into the battle and pust herself into postion to protect the superskrull, enawhile the rest of teh villans are too confused without a leader to utilize their full movement and their trun ends there.

The hero's knwoing the are on a roll continue to push theior advantage, as Invisible woman pushes herself and moves thor over to brainiac, the God of thunder grabs his mailbox and smashes it over Brainiacs head, dealing 5 dmage to the Robot, as flash outwist his defences. Thor laughs at Brainiac telling him thats hes seen better dressed clowns, and that Brainiac doenst belong on a warriors battlefield but under the Bigtop at a circus.
Then Mr. Fixit moves over to juggernaut finally putting himself into the battle.

Man i write so much and such long posts i hope people dont mind reading so much and if you want me to cut it down let me know
now on with the battle

The villans are worried as they see another Hulk look alike come into battle and are unsure if thye can handle both of them so they act quickly. Mojo carries Bane over to Mr. Fixit, and Bane quickly attacks Hitting Fixit with a staggering blow dealing 4 damage, however Mr Fixit is into is invulnerbility clicks and only takes 2, but the blow was enuff to soften him and leave him with only toughness. Then Mojo perplexes the Superskrull's damage up and he pushes letting loose with a force blast that strikes Mr Fixit with alot of force, Fixit manages to block one damage but the 3 is still enuff to knock him to the ground and much to the hero's dismay he does not get back up. Another hero has fallen in battle, is there nothing that can stop these villans?

If anything the Amazing spiderman can, as he unleases an assault on Brainiac, and he knocks the powerful villan unconscious. What a shot by spiderman as he knocks out his third villan and still has not taken even a click of damage. It seems the vilans have been wrong to underestimate the wall crawler. Next Flash outwits bane's toughness and runs in dealing one damge to bane, his assault is quickly followed by mr. fantastic as he streches out and batters bane for 2 more, avenging their fallen comrade, but bane still stands even tho he has now lost all of his powers.

The villans are no slouches and they strike by fast, again Dr Octopus and Mojo utilize their perplex power as they increase Juggernaut's damage to 6. Juggernaut then turns to the incredible hulk and smashes him with the dumpster for 8 damage, the hulk manages to block one and takes only 7 instead. This mighty attack which earlier destroyed steel in just one hit does not manage to kill te Hulk, but instead brings him to his best click. The villans have really angered the hulk now and they better watch out for his counter attack. Blastaar seeing the enraged hulk kows his team is in trouble for jsut one hit from the hulk will cripple any of his teammates, so he acts fast and tagets teh hulk, his teammates seeing him about to attack the hulk know that like he has every other time this battle Blastaar will miss again, because hes jsut not combat material. Blastaar knows that this is his opportunity to make up for all his misses and he swings for teh hulk and he connects, OH MY Blastaar finally manages a hit and it comes at the most crucial times for the villans, he hits the hulk for 4 damage, but the hulk is no slouch as his invulnerable hide blocks 2 damage but what gets thru is enuff as the Hulk falls to the ground... out of the battle
The villans cheers for joy and in disbelief that Blastaar finally came thru and has given the villans a huge boost in confidence while taking the hero's strongest member out of the battle. If Magneto could only see him now, but Magneto is already down so we now know who the true villan is.
On a side note blastaar only needed a 5 to hit and rolled an 8
sorry Viper :(, jsut when the hulk was on his best click too i was soo xcited when i thoughht i could use him on his best click, biut then i knew i had to be impartial and saw that the best move was to finish him off :(

The hero's watch as the hulk crumples to the ground and become very worried, so Moondragon seeing her comrades spirits go down moves into action and tries to mindcontroll blastaar (defence of 19) but Blastaar is too xcited from his recent success and Moondragon fails in her attempt, #While the hero's are failing spiderman again comes to save the day, pushing himself and swinging in he fires his webbing at Blastaar incapacitating the ugly beast as blastaar takes one damage in the process.
Firelord then sees his opening and lets loose with a hsot of his own at blastaar, fring a stream of flame at blastaar he scores a CRITICAL hit the flame sears into blastaar dealing 4 damage, one fo wehich is blocked by toughness and severly hurting the demon from the negative zone (origianlly from ireland as discussed earllier) The hero's have struck back quickly and strongly showing that no matter what they will fight to the end.

Blastaar hurt but still happy about killing the Hulk comes upon a plan (he reagained leadership) and quickly radios it to his teammates who act quickly. Blastaar shouts to doc octopus that they need to take out Flash and his annoying outwit, so mojo and octopus bpoth perplex the doc's damage iup giving him 4, and he snakes all 4 of his lock arms in at the speedy hero, flash having never been the target of attack this whole battle is caught unawares and takes the 4 damage as he stumples but manages to regain his footing loooking hurt but ready to fight. Next the Enchantress fires a psychi blast at her arch enemy thor and she hits home dealing one damage to the mighty avenger, as the multiple attacks have finally added up and Thor loses all of his remaing superpowers.Finally mojo moves over to the superskrull, while Bane moves over to protect Blastaar from further attack,
Another very succesful trun buy the villans as they take away the hero's outwit and cripple the mighty thor.

The hero's having seen too many friends fall around them strike back with a vengence. Cyclops fires at optic blast at bane, and the man with steroid issues fallas to the ground, as cyclops says Those steroids may help u win a batting title or get teh record for most homeruns in baseball but they wont help you against me, oh and the White Queen, shes my girl... Chump. Thor while hurt knows he cna still do some good and does throwing Mjolinor at blastaar and hitting, the beast square in the face, knocking him senseless and out of teh battle. Heh methinks that thou lookest like rthe cowardly lion form the land of Oz, altho im sure he was brazer than thou cur. Not wanting the boys to have alll the fun Invisible woman fires at the Enchantress hitting her for 2 and making her lose all of her superpowers, as she is barely able to stand. The hero's have struck back quickly and with their grim resolve they know they will win out the day.

K on with the battle as the end is drawing near

The villans outnumbered 8 to 5 know they need to start whitling down their opponents and as thye take stock of the hero's they see Moondragon and her telepathy as their biggest threat. So Mojo and Octopus perplex up the Superskrull's dmage to 5, and thte superskrull targets moondragon and blasts her for 5 damage, Moondragon heightened senses fail to kick in as she had trouble reading the alian mind. The villans have struck again as the combo of skrull being perplexed by mojo and octopus works for the 3rd time. Next Juggernaut picks up the dumpster again and moves over to Firelord and Cyclops.

The hero's react quickly as they further wittle down the villans army. The flash runs over to the enchanrtess and hits her for 1 knocking her out of the battle. Realizing form before that even damaged she can be an annoying threat. Next spiderman puts his webbing to good use and webs up the mighty juggernaut, even damaging the behemoth, who finally takes some damage. Finally Mr Fantastic streches himself an dreaches for Doc octopus but he is fatigued from the long battle and fails to hit.

its is now down to 8 hero's vs 4 villans

The villans again working together make another attack, knwoing they have to work fast against the larger hero's force. Mojo and Octopus use their perplex powers in tandem again this time uppin octopus damage as he hits mr fantastic for 4 damage, but Reed's strechy body manages to absorb half of it. Next the Superskrull pushes himself to carry mojo within range of cyclops, allowing him to ake ocntrol over the weary X-Man's mind. Cyclops not in his right mind then turns and fire an optic blast right at the unsuspecting firelord, hitting him for 3 damage. I guess it was paypack for firelord's earlier attack on mR. Summers. The villans again fail to kill any hero's but continue to weaken them.

Mr Fantastic too tired to use his strength, decides instead to put his mind to use instead as he outwits juggernauts defences, and orders spiderman to hit him for 2 damage, further hurting juggernaut. Meanwhile Firelord seeing the opening attacks juggernaut as well and hits for another damage. Meanwhile moondragon uses this opportunity to heal herself and manages to gain 2 clicks, of life.

The villans strike again as Jugernaut attacks htting firelord with teh dumpster and finishing off the Flaming Man... defaetiong yet another of the hero's. Meanwhile Doc oc is agion perplexed by mojo and himself as he pushes himself to hit mr fantastic again getting 2 damage past Reed's defences, even tho Doc Oc pushes himself in battle his determination allows him to do it without any harm to himself.

the hero's sick and tired of all the perplxed dmage focus their attacks on Mojo, as Mr Fantastic hits him first dealing 2 damage, followed immeadiatly by his beautilful wife Sue who hits for 1 as well. Flash then utilizing his speed runs over dealing another click of damage to Mojo as he loses both his mind controll and his perplex. Meanwhile Mr Fantastic not wanting to see any perplex at all outiwts Octopus's ability to help his teammates in anyway. Meanwhile cyclops rests up for the next turn and moondragon gets ready to reenter the battle.

anywyas on we go

The villans not liking the odds of 7-4 take matter into their own hands knowing they need to whittle down the odds some. The superskrull gets into action first as he morphs into the human torch taking on the flaming powers, but in a much more stronger version then the real human torch (and why is it that? im not sure ask jon :) ) and fires a ball of flame that strikes moondragon square in the chest, she staggers back in amazemnet and crumbles to the ground. The villans odnt stop here as Mojo presses the attack and fires a blast at Cyclops, felling the X-men and taking him out of the battle as well. CANCELLED Just like the X=Men cartoons, The villans have struck visciously as their 2 weakest members have knocked off 2 hero's, allwoing their teammates to rest up.

The hero's taken back by he ferocity of the villans attack, are unsure what to do, all but spiderman who again leaps into action and shoots his webbing at the Superskrull whoch ties up the alian and dmages him for one ion the process. Meanwhile the flash ion his weakened state knows hes not much help so he pushes himself and runs to protect Mr Fantastic, on his way he goes by mojo and smacks him in the back of the head, telling him if he doenst go on a diiet, he may end up looking like the Blob or worse maybe even the Slug, Mojo's is hurt more in his pride but still takes a damage.

Meanwhile the villans feeling very superior begin to assemble for what they belieev is the final assault, as juggernaut runs runs over to the dumpster (again) picking it up he moves over to Flash and Mr fantastic, Meanwhile Doc Octopus's perplexes his own damage to 3 and sends his mechanical arms towards Flash, who is too tire to move out of the way and is hit, but what a hit it is, it seems Octopus hit the right spot as he critically hits the speedster for 4 damage, which is just enuff to KO the fastest man alive. Can't move if you aint awake laughs Octopus.

It is now 4 on 4 as the hero's continue to fall

The hero's angered by the loss of flash continue to attack, as mr fantastic again utilizes his braisn and outwits jugernauts defences and then clobbers him with a fist damaging jugs for 2. Juggernaut having been hit so much recently has begun to tire as he drops the dumpster and seems to have lost the incredible strength that he had earlier in the battle. Next Thor reenters the fray as he thors his might hammer at the superskrull hitting the hsapeshifter for 2 damage, and knocking him back, but at the last second the skrull shapeshifted into the Thing and his rocky hide manages to deflect some of the blow and he takes only 1 damage. Meanwhile Sue not wnating the guys to have all the fun hits mojo for 1 damage. Again the hero's fail to take down any villans but still have throughly weakened their opponents.

Doc Octopus seeing mr fantastic is distracted by Juggernaut uses this chance to hit him again as he perplexes his own damage to 3 and hits Reed richards getting 2 of his dmaage thru and knocking out Mr Fantastic. Sue lets out a cry as she sees her love fall unconscious, this gives her strength as she increases her anger and ability to fight. Meanwhile the super skrull tells thor that he shoulda stayed outta this and turns his arm turning into flame and fires a ball of fire towards the thunder God scoring 2 damage and knocking the mighty thor out of the battle battle. What an attack by the villans as 2 mor eheros fall in battle. The villans having been outnumbered all battle long now gain the upperhand as their 4 outnumber the hero's remaing 2.

The hero's watch in agony as 2 more of their members fall. Sue angered over what happened to reed lashes out, pushing herself to hit Mojo knocking the bloated villan from the battle. Now who's CANCELLED, you spiness blob. Meanwhile spiderman not wantoing to be left out shpoots more webbing at the Skrull holding him down and damaging him as well.

The villans know the end is near and take their time as only Juggernaut moves as he goes towards the invisible woman, allowing Doc Octopus to ready a plan and giving the superskrull time to break from spiderman's webs.

The hero's know they are in trouble but Invisible Girl needs time to rest and spiderman decides to as well, so they cna fight untited on the next turn.

Doc Octopus takes advanges of teh hero's inability to attack and goes back to his old tricks again and perplexes up Superskrulls attack allowing the alian to target and hit spiderman for 2 damage. meanwhile Octopus targets the invisble woman wioth an atack of his own hitting her for 2 and knocking her back.

The hero's attack quickly as spiderman incapacitates the skrull dealing more damage to the alien. Meanwhile the invisible woman knowing theirs strength in numbers quickly flies over to aide spiderman and help block him from attacks.

thx everyone for the reply's now here it comes the final battle

The villans act quickly not wanting to give our hero's time to retaliate. Juggernaut moves first and advances towards spiderman and the invisible woman, while doc octopus does the same thru sheer willpower, as teh skrull again has to spend his time breaking out of spiderman's webbing, angered as spidermans sticky stuff is everywhere, this focus's the flamer to flame on burning it away.

Meanwhile the hero's take this itme to again rest. As Spiderman tells the Invisible woman not to worry hes taken on juggernaut before and the skrull is almost dead. What about Doc Octopus Sue asks? oh him heh hes a lightweight i know this old lady May Parker even she could take him. It seems spiderman along with everyone else has underestimated Doc Octopus.

Meanwhile the skrull finally out of spiderman's webbing fire a blast at the annoying bug, but to his annoyance it misses. Dam it ths is frustrating cause the alian knows whats next.

Yep spidie again uses this opportunity to incapacitate Superskrul mucking him up with even more webbing. As superskrull yells in anguish spidie merly smiles, get used to it buddy, Meanwhile sue does nothin as she wants to be ready for juggernaut and doctor octopus.

Juggernaut and Doc Octopus waste no time as they speed over and and come into base contact with our 2 hero's, meanwhile it seems spidies webbing has alreayd wore off supeskrull and they know he'll be coming in next round.

Invisible woman acts fast as she uses her powers and incapacitates the juggernaut in a force bubble, hitting juggernaut for further damage. Meanwhile spiderman takes this time to rest up as he gets ready for the next villan barrage.

Octopus takes advange perplexing his damage up and attacking spiderman hitting him iwth his mechanical arms dealing 3 damage to our hero, (but he pushed) while skrull also fires away hoping to hit the wounded spiderman and he hits spiderman who knows falls to his last click. The villans know spiderman is who they must finish off and they must do it quickly.

now heres the stats

Spiderman has 1 click left, still has outwit now has gained B/C/F (dont know why but his promo gets that). (8 attack)
Invisible woman has 2 clicks left and she has stealth, incap and defend (6 attack) and 1 action

doc octopus is still at full health 2 action tokens
juggernaut has 2 clicks left with toughness, no actions (6 attack)
superskrull has 1 click left no powers and 1 action

its very close

Spiderman using all his skills tries to pull victory from defeat, knows the only way to win is to attack octopus, but he needs a 9 to hit and rolls a 10 hitting the undamaged doc octopus for 4 damage. Invisible woman seeing spiderman almost dead and knwoing that without him she wont be bale to get thru juggernauts toughness she pushes herself and rolls a breakaway to take her and spidie out of octopus's range. (juugernauts in the way) (it took me forever to decide what to do here and please see the bottom for more info on that)

Octopus's angered at spiderman's escape orders juggernaut to chase him down and he does but doesnt quite reach the 2 hero's. Meanwhile the other 2 villans rest up.

Both spiderman and invisible woman takes this time to rest as well or else they'd fall over form exhaustion.

The villans recovering first attack back quickly as the superskrull fires a blast at at the Invisble woman, but the fumbling fool missed. Meanwhile Doc Octopus takes teh same shot and shows why humans are much better than alians as he hits Invisble woman taking her out of the battle, seeing his comrade fall enrages spiderman and this gives him back a click of life (spiderman ability )

Spiderman seeing his dear friend fall quickly strikes back the skrull and finsihes him off, taking vengence for his fallen comrade.

Juggernaut then moves forward and comes into base contact with spiderman. while doc octopus takes the time to rest up.

Spiderman knwoing he could pus himself to attack juggernaut can not kill him, and having lost incap can not do that as well, so he decides that his best chnace at winning is if juggernaut misses so he rests up as well.

Juggernaut seeing a chnace to win the battle pushes himself to swing at spiderman needing a 7 or better to win the game, and he does it as he rolls an 11 and knocks spiderman unconscious to the ground.

The battle is ended and the villans have came out on top but it was very close at the end. as juggernaut was on his last click (after his last push) and doctor octopus had only 3 clicks of life left. I hope everyone enjoyed the battle and my write ups

(oh and about the turn whne invisible woman ran away, afetr it was over i wnet back and played that turn like 5 other ways but no matter what the villans won )

Wow great battle Pip!!! The villains won a good battle. Heroes were soo close too. For the heroes i think the mvp should probably go to White Queen for those awsome moves that hurt a ton of the villains people. Unsure about the villains mvp though.

when i calculated damage i gave made a couple of rules
MIND CONTROL anyone who made an attack under MC didnt get credit for the damage the one MCing them did,
PERPLEX anyone who did the perplexing got credit for the extra damage they provided, also the person making the attack also got credit for that damage

k so theres the stats for the villans WHO DO YOU think is their MVP, id say its between Superskrull ( 3 kills the most damage), Doc Oc (5 kills 2nd most damage and his perplex was awesome)
Juggernaut (man was a tank 4 kills, 21 damage), darkhorse would be Enchantress cause of this she MCed OWAW Superman at beggining which caused him to die, had he been able to fully attack it could have been differant

The bigest disapointments here were Ultron 0 kills 0 damage
Dr Doom 0 kills, 2 damage
and Doomsday only 5 damage

Heres the heros stats

when i calculated damage i gave made a couple of rules
also all damage was given eevn if the extra damage wasnt needed to KO, only damage blocked by toughness or Inv. wasnt counted
MIND CONTROL anyone who made an attack under MC didnt get credit for the damage the one MCing them did,
PERPLEX anyone who did the perplexing got credit for the extra damage they provided, also the person making the attack also got credit for that damage

the hero's damage totals are lower as they had no perplex at least tahst what i think as perplex gives damage points to 2 chareters

k one great thing id like to point out is that cyclops got 3 kills and all of them came while he was on his last click, guess the villans should have finsihed him off eh

id say the MVP candiates are
Spiderman - last one left, most kills with 4 and 2nd highest damage with 22
White Queen even with no kills her 2 massive mind controll moves really helped the hero's
Cyclops - 3 kills all while on his last click it was great
Firelord - 2 kills and the most damage with 26
My underdog is
Flash he only had one kill but his free moving hypersonic speed outwit was awesome he outwitted so much stuff and stayed around for ages
the biggest embaressments were
1. Wolverine he had 3 chances with his blades and only rolled a 1 and a 2, and he missed the third, it hurt alot.
2. Sentinal..... umm what did the 300 point waste do anyway??
3. Superman argurable the best player got wasted

Hey man, I just tuned in and caught up after I saw your post to my thread.

Actually, it looks as if I saw this when it first came out, and then I never caught back up with it... like I said, the faction tourney was taking all my "board time".

Now I see what you mean when you suggested keeping stats. That is a GREAT suggestion, and really made for a nice cap off to your huge battle. I also like the fact that you included "Damage dealt" and not just KO's, because KO's can be deceiving. What if a guys already near death and some thug gets him?

Since you suggested it, I probably will figure our some way to include a limited number of stats for the next tournament. Maybe just a stat line for the MVP or something. It really was a nice touch at the end here.

I was also glad to see the Dr and I aren't the only ones who make rules mistakes in the public eye!! :D

The one thing that surprised me the most was how well Spiderman did. I can never get him to play that well for me!

Anyways, good job, good thread, and I hope you check out Sun Devils new tourney thread coming up. Thats gonna be a good thread too!

Spiderman did an awsome job, but my Heroes mvp still goes to White Queen for how many key players she hurt.(Sinestrio, mojo, enchantress, and darkseid) It was the big turn around for the heroes.
my mvp for the villains goes to Superskrull. His stats say it all! Nuf said.

I had a battle similar to this a long time ago, but neither of us recorded it and it turned out the Villians won in a lop sided battle.

well i guess noone wanst to vote on a MVP but i agree with silver viper for the hero's and give it to white queen her 2 mind control attack were pivotal

however for the villans i will havew to say Octopus, his perplex dealt soooo much damage and he also KO's the most charecters with 5, he also survived the war and never missed a shot (think skrull missed 2), octopus was underrated but his perplex proved to be a great assest.

my next epic battle will start next monday with THanos (with infinity gems) will take on a bunch of hero's
It will be somewhat of a reenactment of the Infinity War, with only people who fought thanos there being used.
