Okay, you know the map that looks like a lumber yard that comes with the Outdoor Adventure Pack? There's a part near one edge that I've always taken to be a pit, and as such, I've treated it like "elevated" terrain - you have to be at the edge to shhot/be shot at, and line of fire only exists if it passes through the thick black line on the square by the character in the pit. Fine. In fact, if that's wrong, I'd appreciate someone telling me, but that's not the question I'm asking.

The question I'm asking is, if you are in the pit, and knocked back into the wall of the pit (what would be "off the roof" if it was elevated terrain), is that 1 click or 2? If you're on the ground, and get knocked back into the pit, is that 1 or 2?

Thanks.

You only take fall damage when being knocked back from elevated terrain (2 clicks of damage).

ie Elevated terrain is signified by bold black lining (usually around buildings).

Anything that does not have the bold black lining, is not elevated terrain.

Actually, on the map I'm talking about the "pit" (I've since learned that it's actually supposed to be a "mound", not a pit) DOES have the thick black line around it. My question was more like "in what situation do you take one click and in what situation do you take two" when knocked back. Because I was unfamiliar with the mound/pit, I wasn't sure what was equivalent to "falling off" (two clicks) or "smacking into" (one click). I asked this over on the Marvel board because it gets more views, and it was answered there. Essentially, treat the mound as a building.
