If I use Pip to grab an object and park on a rooftop somewhere, could I then in future turns pretty much teleport anywhere on the map (within the huge line of sight from the edge of the building) to help a comrade in close combat?

Yes as long as you can draw a loF to any square adjacent to an opposing and friendly character you can use the ability.

See the link above. This matter is far from crystal clear/100% agreed upon... please don't present it as such.

you seem to be the only one that does not agree.

And I have yet to see anyone provide any evidence that the two conditions (can draw LOF vs within speed value) can't both be applied.

So, nah-nah :p

;)

Like I've said a couple times in a couple different places, I am fairly certain that (given his low speed value) they meant for Pip to not be bounded by his speed value and that he should move just about anywhere... however, we are not mind readers, so we need to go with what is written.

Since it was the same wording as antimonitor, i figured it meant not bound by his speed.

But the difference is that Pip is using Phasing/Teleport with Anti-Monitor's Destined Destroyer just sort of happens.

If DD had any sort of verbage relating it to a ranged attack (or something similar), than it could possibly be argued that it is limited in some way... as it is, all you need is LOF (there is no mention of attack at all).

Pip, though, is using Phasing/Teleport, which is normally bounded by the speed value. True, the part in question is not a normal use of Phasing/Teleport, but as we've seen many, many times with other non-normal modified PAC powers only the changes specifically mentioned in the SP description matter and in all other ways the power functions as described in the PAC. Since Space Gem does not mention speed value one way or the other, the defualt is that it uses the speed value rules as normal Phasing/Teleport.
