Right now the wizkids gallery only has hammer of thor.
Are we currently only allowed to print the items in the wizkids gallery? Or can we use prior resources to print older cardboard items?
I think this needs clarified ASAP. Some people are printing everything out from files saved on the old wizkids gallery - but there hasn't been clarification on whether we need to wait until it all gets posted in the new gallery.
We have an answer:

The ruling is retroactive. I specifically asked if they'd mind holding the decision until after I could sell some of my feats on eBay, but I was told to think of the greater good. :)

No we don't he specifically stated "printed from the wizkids website"
Currently the only stuff on the current wizkids site is the HoT stuff. Nothing else.

He also said that it is up to your local judge and that the events run by Wizkids would use those rules.
Is there some event coming up in the next five minutes which is being run by Wizkids that I don't know about?
I don't see why we need the answer ASAP. Ask your local judge for now. When there's actually an event run by Wizkids, then it needs to be addressed.

You've taken this response out of context. Norm was specifically addressing the question of printing a cardboard element with any applicable updated text (from the Player's Guide for example).
This answer was not in response to the source of printing the materials.
Ultimately, Norm has also said that Venues will have final say as to the allowability of such elements anyhow, regardless of source, for their events.

That is, indeed, my biggest concern right now. As a Judge running stuff at the local level, I would be most comfortable ruline on the side of "Only IN Wizkids Gallery", which currently is Hammer of Thor only.

Yea I'll still wait with baited breath on him to give an official answer. It hasn't been clearly stated. Unless you can specifically quote that.

Until norm gives an answer I'm following whatever you say Jon. But I will show up with a chalk board with feats written on it that I am going to use as the actual feat.

BINGO!
This is how I read it...
Since I apparently require greater specificity...
I have not had a conversation with the powers that be regarding what the plan is for a figure gallery - would it include the older figures or not. I would think it's something they would want to do (thinking long term). Ultimately, I would certainly hope that wizkidsgame.com would be the place to go to find any/all images you may want.
In the meantime, that's not the state of the world. So if you're asking me what I would allow at an event I was running? I would allow any printout of any feat, BFC, special object, or character card that was an accurate copy of the original/released material. I wouldn't ask the person what website or PDF or email or forum thread they found the image at - I would look at it, if it were questionable, I would look it up in my binder, and I would let them play (if it were genuine).

So you are saying that it has to be copied from the original? So that means it has to be photocopied from a feat itself?
Nah! I'm only kidding! I understood the first time. Why everyone has to be so specific about stuff?! :)
