if SI elektra is in base contact with an opposing character and wants to charge a different character 2 squares away would she have to break away? i am confused because LC states when you give a move action it automatically breaks away, but in this case i am using charge which is a power action.

the free breakaway and ignore terrain part of LC would not work with Charge as you stated one is a move action and the other is a power action.
