Either DC or Marvel who do think is the worst figure out there. From weakest ability or made too powerful or they were robbed from not being given the power or rating you think they deserve?
Or they simply don't give any strategic help at all?

I'll be sure not to use them, hehehehe

Rogue - Steal Energy just doesn't cut it.
Man-bat - WTF??? rather call an actual Cab.

AHHHHHH yes, rogue is missing that, but what would it affect friendly too?

AHHHHHH yes, rogue is missing that
actually she has it,its just that the power is kinda lame. She should have had super strength.

I stand corrected, but i agree with you, she should have super strength or even a higher defense rating like 16 to begin with.

Firelord, what a lame character!!

i would have to say that the ever popular man-bat would be my choice for most underrated character. i mean, for ####py movement, a slight ability to hover, and an inability to hit even toad i would consider him to be the all time best. who wouldnt want someone that would be more likely to end up as hot 'n spicy wings then the next thanos? honestly.

Peronally? I'd go with BLOB! Wow! a charge of a wopping( wait for it....wait for it....) 2!

and no invulnrability? heck, Wolverine tried to cut him before and only thing that happend was that the rabid Canuks hands got stuck.

The fat boy got JOBBED!

( not that I am a Blob fan mind you, cause who likes fat people? (that's a joke) But really, this guy is a waste of plastic)

but then again, what do I know?

read the Avengers vs. X-men Round 3 thread in this same room. 'steal energy' can very much cut it, i think, especially since she has that X-man team ability. she can help heal a teammate, then go hurt some poor soul to get the click back. not to mention, a charging taxi can be very useful.

i do agree though that it would help to have a few clicks of super strength to make her even more useful. perhaps on those first few clicks where she doesn't need to steal energy?

in all my playing, on the side, but new to tournaments, For DC, NO ONE has used Changling, R, E, or V. Can someone explain this to me? is he just too unpredictable?

This many replies and no mention of Constrictor, Hogoblin or Black Manta? Must be a slow day...

If you push Changling past the first click, he can be pretty tough.
The scary thing is seeing that big 0 for his damage stat on the first click. The second click he has super strength and can so some hurting.

The rookie Riddler, on the other hand isn't worth the 34 point cost. Three rookie criminals would be a better buy.

And yet... one of these days I'll set up another of the "no one higher than 70 points games" for 300 point teams. I've found using the lower and mid-ranged figures the action is more intense and the fighting a lot hotter. And now that I understand perplex a bit better, I'll give the Riddler another chance.

And as far the Man-Bat goes, his rookie version could kick the Experienced Vulture all over the board without breaking a sweat.

Changeling in any version is too unstable and sucks with a force to rival gravity. Bleh!

All of you have no idea what you are talking about when it comes to horribly bad figures.

My vote......R Black Manta.

Read it and weep boys.

I dunno, i like man-bat as a cheap taxi. Except rookie who just sux a lot. I have to give it up to black manta who is one of the worst clix out there. He only has incapacitate for one click and then he is just ####. My thug could beat him. My vote goes for rookie black manta.

PsychoDBoy

R Black manta is only 24 pts, and at least has ranged attack....with that incapacitate he can do a click of damage to someone with invulnerability, impervious n such with a good roll from a distance. So my vote goes along with teh Changeling one. Coz he's just ###.

Well besides Black Mantas sad state as a bench warmer, I don't see anyone using a Mad Hatter or even puppet master. i even heard they made a toad. (PLEASE SEE THE SARCASTIC REMARK IN THAT)

V Puppet Master says hi (then borrows someone's attack value via Syndicate ability).

CyberVenom
02/15/2003, 15:43
Not true! I actually use V Mad Hatter at times.

PsychoDBoy
02/15/2003, 15:43
V puppet Master next to E ultron sharing a e vultures syndicate , or even any of the mad hatters with batman ability next to him or a Dr. doom are evil mind control peeps.

Greetings,

Let us talk E Puppet Master, both other versions are reasonable playable (and the LE isn't bad either) but the Exp. version is darn near useless.

35 points

Damage of 0 on all but the first click

Attack of 7,6,5,4 (and wait for it) *0*!

Watch as he soaks up 35 points of a build and mind controls...nobody! But don't worry, with his average defense and pathetic movement he'll be able to do so all while hardly moving and being slapped around by others!! Surely a medic or a Mad Hatter or a Doombot or a pair of Intergang units couldn't possibly be worth the value of...this amazing piece of combat demi-godness!

My opinion,
Thor.

How about R Rogue? 28 points, Brotherhood. All she gets it toughness (not even on click 1), and she doesn't even FLY. (yes, she has a flying base but they erratta'ed it otherwise, read the rules corrections). Worthless!

I am LMAO!
:D

funny stuff, but really, what good are some of these figures? They're only affective as Locking up points, or being wall flowers in this "Dance of Combat" until everyone else is tired and then they come out wild only a remote chance of doing the slightest damage. i even find R vapire lackey to be more use than the E puppet master. Did we leave anyone out???

Rogue didn't have any other powers but Steal energy in the early days (Rookie version) before she robbed ;) Ms.Marvel of her powers !
So this is accurate.
Though If I where to play the brotherhood/Freedom Force I would play E Rogue (early taking over Ms.Marvel JUST before she turned to the X-men).

E Rogue is a good taxi with SS (OH wait that's the power she should have had on her first click !) but didn't get, I still like her INV and Steal energy is nasty !

The V Rogue rocks with that Charge click (MAN wouldn't SS have been nice now !?).
Nope Rogue is A great buy for 77/88 points.

MY nr.1 bad fig is: MAGNETO boy did WK/the designers drop the ball on him !

MISTER FANTASTIC AT ANY LEVEL

Not only is he one of the stoopidest looking sculpts on the table, but how useless is a genius with outwit towards the end of a dial. He and Doc Doom are supposed to be rivals, but ole Victor DESTROYS him every time.

Plastic Man is a better leader for the FF. At least he knows how to fight.
