( oh! and watch out for team 3! it's deadly!) it's actually mostly a joke, but do you think it would work?)
Team 1 has no way to move Spiral into combat. If she's forced to move in on her own, she'll be wasted.
Team 2 is rather interesting. I like the Doom/Klaw combo. With the Hydra ability, they can boost each other's ranged attack up one, and Doom can use perplex to lower the target's defense for an effective +2 to their attacks. However, I think you need some kind of close combat backup for the duo. I don't think the SHIELD sniper is going to do you much good because you can't taxi her into place, so she'll have to move on her own. You don't want to bother with using Doom or Klaw to increase the other's damage because having them fire on their own will do much more. I'd rework your support pieces to add in a close combat backup. You might want to consider putting in a Sinister Syndicate in there so Doom and Klaw can share attack values as another way to boost attack value.
Team 3 makes me ill. Two Firelords. Two Panthers. Two PCers (at least they're not duplicates). Come on! There are lots of figures out there. You don't need to duplicate.
I had really good success at my last tournament with a team that made use of Masters of Evil for close combat. Nothing could handle 10 clicks from Titania and Whirlwind (13 if V-Bullseye got off a shot, too). I took out a healthy V-Logan in a single action with the Titania/Whirlwind combot.

Hmmm - of the 3 team 1 is the most flexible. Team 3 is just extreme cheese.
Dump Spiral - by the time she gets into combat the BCF is usually history, downgrade bullesye to EXP and bring in V Dr Octopus; good movement, willpower, perplex. Alternatively if you want to retain BCF add whichever version of Wolverine/ Sabretooth you fancy, but don't forget Battle Fury.
Oh, and the reason you are not winning is because the teams you are using consist of the most talked about figures in the game, and most good players have now developed strategies to deal with them. Try varying the mix a bit and come up with something your opponents aren't expecting.
actually, with team 1 for a suprise I planned to outwit her Battle fury myself and move her with Vulture! That's legal isn't it? Thought it might suprise someone into moving too close, not expecting me to do that.
and yeah, Like I said, team 3 is just mostly a joke. Just wanted to see if anyone thought it MIGHT work! :)
You can't use outwit on your own figures, so that won't work.
ok, thanks, I did not know that.

Your problem is mobility. None of your teams have enough taxis.
Well, what would you suggest Phil? I know there are limitations, but how do I FIX that, without changing the core of the teams?

Just off the top of my head, in Team 1 you could replace Spiral and the Witch with Unique Elektra, a rookie Doombot and a second Vulture.
Or use Whirlwind (who doesn't really need a dedicated taxi) and a Doombot to replace Spiral, with points left over. You have to have a dedicated taxi for FL and Bullseye, and one of them must move for free. You have to be able to attack twice per turn at 300 points.

i hate to be the one to tell you this, but it's likely not your teams. all of them have a good chance at winning (aside from team one....spiral really is wasted with no way to TK her into combat). i mean, we don't know how many people you play with at the tournaments, but if you're coming in 2nd and 3 place consistantly, then you're teams are actually pretty good.
did you know that at gencon last year there was a 200pt tourney, supposedly the biggest ever sponcored by wizkids. and in the top 8 teams, out of over a hundred, there was a guy with a team of two 100pt sentinels. yep. absolutely true. that's gotta be one of the worst teams i've ever heard of.
my point is that it's probably either dice rolls or a lack of strategy. and no, i'm not trying to shame you. you're obviously trying to get better at the game or you wouldn't have made this post. my suggestion to you would be to keep the teams you have and ask no more advice on them. then seek out the people who constantly beat you and play them game after game until you understand what they're doing that you're not doing.
really. teams look great though.

Team 1/ "gonna try it": Use Vulture to taxi Bullseye around. Use Firelord by itself. But if you are going to taxi with him, taxi the Wolverine around. Not a bad team.
Team 2/ "Minions Of Micheal": Nice overall, but I'd get rid of the Skrull Agent and SHIELD Sniper and put in a Bullseye or other "name" long ranger.
Team 3/ "Double Up": If you're playing for fun, play it. If you're playing to win, play it. Sure, it might be cheesy, but I bet that's one heckuva fun team to play as!
thanks CyberVenom, and you as well Malchyor. I appriciate the words of wisdom. and yeah, I gotta do some rethinking on that Spiral thing, I just LOVE to have two PC'ers though, STEREO RE-ROLL!!! WOO-HOO!
and back to team thre, yep cheese is fine and all I am gonna say now about it is this. bring a cheese grater then, cause I am probably gonna use this sooner or later!
Ok, i REALLY like team 1. Id choose it. Team 3 has alot of potential, but it needs two taxis, one for each firelord. Team one has the mobility. It gives you the best options.
Now heres another thought. Random probably plays very well, and i know of alot of situations like this, where theres one REALLY REALLY REALLY GREAT player at a certain venue who just wins every time. So there are alot of good players but they have problems beating a REALLY good player. It takes effort and some luck sometimes. The teams your using should be fine.
To that comment about the other players knowing how to beat certain teams, thats a pretty untrue statement. If a player knows how to beat the cheesiest and strongest teams, they are obviously good enough to pop a strat together to beat an inferior team with the same ease.
