hey true believers...
I know it's last minute but I've been going back and forth over what team to use in a 400pt all one faction Heroclix tourney. here's what I've been stewin over...

Bat Enemy Team 394pts
2 Vet Bane(s) 85*2 170
2 Exp Man-Bat(s) 27*2 54
LE Dr. Harley Quinzel 49
LE Jervis Tetch 53
Vet Catwoman 68

OR

Fantastic Four (a) 389pts
2 Exp She Hulk(s) 110*2 220
Rok Invisible Girl 37
Exp Human Torch 59
Vet Human Torch 73

OR

Fantastic Four (b) 390pts
2 Exp She Hulk(s) 110*2 220
Rok Invisible Girl 37
Exp Human Torch 59
Exp Mr. Fantastic

OR

Fantastic Four (c) 385pts
2 Exp She Hulk(s) 110*2 220
Rok Invisible Girl 37
Rok Mr. Fantastic 48
Rok Human Torch 40

OR

Fantastic Four (d) 392pts
Exp She Hulk 110
Rok Invisible Girl 37
Vet Mr. Fantastic 113
Exp Human Torch 59
Vet Human Torch 73

The biggest dilemma is that I wanted to have 2 heavy hitters, supported with 2 taxi, and IG 18 defense...along with some outwit from Stretcho/Mr. Fantastic...But the rubberband head costs too much.

I'd lean towards the Bat Enemy team if they had some chargers or a better team ability.

I'm expecting to face off against Avengers teams with Thor, Scarlet Witch, and Blk Panther or Xmen with Jean Grey, Nightcrawler, and Cyclops...

Any suggestions for a tired warrior????
Oh yeah Go see Daredevil, other than the flick being a little dark it was cool.

Thanks.!!!!!

Pesonally, I'd consider NOT playing with two close combat guy's. Too easy to take out from range, ESPECIALLY if you come across a minions of doom team. throw in a klaw, a Doom, some Doombots Anhillus, and you are looking at facing a HIGHLY moble team with Great range and HIGH DAMAGE. Playing TWO bricks is gonna get ya killed.

But what do I know? That's just my opinion and don't count for squat when ya get right down to it. :)

Thanks Random...didn't think about it like that. I appreaciate your opinion
The way I was looking at it was having 2 folks (She Hulks) with Charge and 2 folks (Human Torch) with running shot with the FF team ability, Weill that was my rational for the team. Even though I know that Torch isn't very tough or does much damage...

Still I thank you for your comments...Thanks again.

An all Minions of Doom team is HIGHLY unlikely. While the figures are powerful, them team ability it totally dependant on mimicing others. With no teams to mimic, thats a huge handicap. Wildcard team affiliation is obviously very expensive. On a 400 point team, it would likely be 30-40 points down the toilet.

Agent, what's with the pair of E She-Hulks?! Come on, diversify! E Thing is the exact same amount of points.

I like diversity...Some of my best friends are diverse. But i'd like to win. At least it's not 2 firelords...I did a test game with one She Hulk and one Thing. The THing didn't hit a single THING (target). His higher damage with a lower attack value wasn't worth it. I missed with that rok head everytime. Part was lousy dice rolls, but the other was the Thing starts with a 9...big suckarinno.

So do you think 2 chargers (she hulks) and 2 running shot taxies (rookie torches) are a bad choice for getting picked off and I should fit Reed in there somewhere...or is She Hulk and her Clone cool????
