Each and every time that myself or my friends play Dr. Sivana, it's always for the Support, Perplex and Outwit/Superman Enemy. He's always in a support role. Of course, that makes sense, but he aggressive capability, too. So next time we play, I want to play him as aggressively as he can be played. I'm looking for suggestions.
What feats, BFC and other characters could help Dr. Sivana be aggressive?
So far, I'm thinking...
Armor Piercing for general purpose, but also for Energy Explosion.
3 Gotham City Detectives right behind him could do wonders, I think. Gives him a 13 attack and 5 damage on his first click.
Put a SHIELD team member on each side of him and use his Perplex to get his range to a 9. Get some with the Scientist keyword so Sivana can Mastermind to them. Might need some wild cards.

I think you're on to something and I'd recommend the Outsmart feat as well. You do not want to get one hit koed and this feat provides a little protection....speaking of which.....Protected and getaway could help him take cover and position better when hes being flurried or double attacked.
How many points are you going for?
Lockjaw would be a great character to have him manuever and get him in and out of trouble. If you're going that pd route then throw some shield agents to increase his range. This will let him capitalize on his pulsewave and EE powers. Hope any of this helps.

We always play 2000 points so I'd say the sky is the limit. ;)
There's only two SHIELD members with the Scientist keyword: M&M FCBD Iron Man and Avengers Falcon. I could Thunderbolts an Avenger Scientist to SHIELD and throw a smaller SHIELD guy on the team for the wild cards.
With 2000 points, I might go for Fortitude on him. If I get the whole team built and I really don't have the points for it, I'll go with Outsmart, but I agree that his powers need to be protected.

Yeah, something like this:
Dr. Sivana 111 + Fortitude 25
Gotham City Detective 27
Gotham City Detective 27
SHIELD Trooper 17
Guardsman 32
Professor Ivo 59
= 298 points. Plennnnnty of room left in the size game you're thinking!
. . . . .
. G D G .
. S I S .
. . . . .
D=Dr. Sivana
G=Gotham City Det.
S=SHIELD (Agents or Guardsmen)
I=Professor Ivo, cheap invulnerable Mastermind fodder.
EDIT: and just so you know, Sivana doesn't need other Scientists to use Mastermind. Just gives him the option to shunt damage to bigger figures if he likes.

You're not going for theme right? At 2000 points I think its gonna be pretty hard to have Sivana be the "breakout star" of the lineup. I don't know what kinda stuff your friends play, but I'm betting it won't be people Silvana can take easily.
Are you going for some fearsome five action? A nice Nova blast form the good doctor could get him some major attention (which would land him on his juicy incap clicks) because I'm sure Psimon wouldn't mind tossing him out there and if its not theme the experimental dog Lockjaw can take any damage he recieves so he'll be able to use the cool special. It also wouldn't hurt to put Ambedexitrious on him so he can get 2 groups with the power and follow up with contingency plan to make sure you hit.
Heck, i think we've got Silvana over 200 points now. hes bound to get you some attention from your friends.

I like to use other Scientists with Sivana to make sure he has options for Mastermind. But that's usually when I'm using him for Support. He can always heal whoever he Masterminds damage to. That probably won't be the case here.
If I use Ivo, I might want a SHIELD member that's more points than him so I can Mercenary him to SHIELD, giving Sivana another boost.
Ambidextrous is a great idea for Sivana. Totally overlooked that.
Not going for theme at all. Whatever works best. I don't care about winning. I often play with ideas just to do something silly or fun. This is definitely one of those times. I'll do whatever I can with Sivana and that'll be it for me.

Sivana can Perplex whatever doesn't get modified by his team mates.
The Gotham City Detectives provide a bonus to attack from PD and a bonus to damage from Enhancement. If the target is beyond the diagonal for Sivana then only one of them can help with a bonus to his attack value.
Silver Sable, Dream Girl and Lilandra provide bonuses to range or damage with the SHIELD team ability. C-Plan on Sable and Lilandra can help with whichever they don't help with using SHIELD.
If someone attacks Sivana, he can Mastermind the damage to Sable or Lilandra who can in turn Mastermind the damage to either of the two characters adjacent to them who get Regeneration towards the end of their dials. Those characters can heal back up. If opposing characters get close, the regenerating Mastermind fodder can also help take those guys down.
I'm going to fill the remaining points with big, scary stuff as misdirection to keep the attention off of Sivana.

Try to fit a Green Lantern Corps member in there so Dream Girl can aid with the Sivana-crew's mobility.
Also "fixed" the formation diagram with Courier font, as it wasn't displaying correctly for me.

It's against my religion to play with a Green Lantern, but I've been known to blaspheme on occasion. I'll see what I can do. Specific suggestions?
So fixedsys isn't good for diagrams. Odd. I'll use Courier then.

It's still kosher if you Thunderbolt a cheap, flying Avenger to Green Lantern. R Aurora from Armor Wars is 50 pts (55 after T-bolts) and has 12 movement.

A GL hater? Huh. People are full of surprises.
Since you want big & scary clix to decoy from the Sivana bunker, CR Kyle Rayner could suffice (though he's glass-jawed to the nth power). Tomar Re has 12 range and Perplex. On the cheap end are Ch'p (who needs his own tank but could really boost Sivana's effectiveness with his 18 Defend) and Katma Tui.

I thought about using Thunderbolts, but I'd lose the SHIELD from the wildcard when I need it. Dream Girl is also giving me PC which, with my rolls, I'll definitely need.

Yup. John Stewart is the only one I like. I think the only one I have of him is the one with the JLA team ability.

I'll see what I can dig up. Thanks.

Um....if it hasn't already been said Tomar Re from the GL pack (even though you mentioned your dislike for GL's) would be great for your team, he carries and perplexes. So you wont lose any Points on your combat values. Could also Beef up the docks defense a little.

Play the Rookie Sinestro from Legacy at 102pts....It's a nice middle ground for that.
