I don't know about anybody else out there but I just can't seem to ever play a "goodguy" team. Everytime I go to pick a team for a game I'll start off with say Nick Fury or something but slowly weed all of them out in order to put more baddies on the team.

I think I have a problem... since I've been playing I've only used an all hero team once. Once! It didn't matter that I won with it, I was dissapointed because the good guys won. Hmmmm....

I even went so far as trading or selling away all my hero figures for villains. The only exception to that rule is that I keep the Vet Fantastic Four around for training and sometimes I'll swith Reed out for Doom.

I was just wondering if anyone else out there used solely villain teams too or am I alone in this world of rampant Logan/BCF and Avengers teams...

its good to see someone representing the baddies. if im making my team and i take one look at doc oc or darkseid's sculpt, then that team becomes an all evil team

in most games i use the bad boys...

Warhammer: Chaos and Dark elf
Axis and Allies: Germany
HC: Thugs

hmm... maybe that's why i don't win so often...

I usually use a different team whenever I play but I kinda like the IL & Minion teams. MoE & Superman Enemies have some nice villains & some of the Brotherhood, but I almost never use any Masters of Evil, Sinister Syndicate or Batman Enemies figs. Nothing to do with gameplay, I'm just not crazy abut those characters.

As for good guys I stick with Avengers, Defenders, JLA & Supes Ally members. Same reasoning.

I try not to mix good/bad guys but sometimes strategy forces my hand. For instance I love swinging cars around with Gorilla Grodd when he's got a couple of SHIELD teammates behind him. Hydra, Skrulls, Checkmate, etc... aren't the same.

Face it, you're just eeeeeeevil.

I only play villains -- no exceptions -- I have a handful of hero figs left that I hope to someday trade for holes in my villain menagerie but I refuse to field them. In my case most of my friends prefer the heroes, which makes my natural proclivities for evil all the more convenient, but I would play all villains even if they weren't a bunch of unbearable goody-goodies. (Ha-Ha!)

Personally I can't abide mixing heroes and villains in normal play -- it might be effective and it's certainly anyone's perogative, but outside of scenarios I prefer seeing villains and heroes squaring off (guess I'm a purist).

Good is dumb ! "Dark Helmut"

Yep, Aside from Spiderman (and the X-men) I really enjoy playing the evil Guys : Brotherhood,Doom(and his minions),Sinister Syndicate: to be more precise the Sinister six.

I mostly build hero's/bad guys teams, because it just feels wrong somehow to taxi Spiderman with Dr.Doom or something.

I play bad guys all the time. Even when at tournies. I have won 1 so far using a all bad guy team. I have tried good guys but I have yet to win one time if I use a single good guy.

When I mix Heros and Villains I always take a mind control character allowing 1 odd Hero/Villain per level Rookies can take 1 while Uniques including LE's can take 4.
But there always has to be more of the chosen ideology than the controlled ideology.
