44 point tie up with a bit of range Defenders TA and exploit Weakness a huge bonus for generous attack values for point bracket.

44 points is a hard cost to rate: not quite disposable, but not able to expect much either. Bug plays solidly enough as a tie-up that can potentially last a long time. But he's nothing to write home about either. The best part of his dial is the loanable 17 defense dropping to a please-loan-me-anything 14.

All around, pretty handy. A must for any Microns team. :)

Managed to pull off 2 EW on Raggy Surtur. That'll do, pig.

He's got a lot of things going for him, with exploit weakness at the top of the list. He's cheap enough that you don't have to worry too much about tossing him into the action, and he can usually do enough damage to more than justify his cost. He always seems to land on that third click one way or another. An ideal candidate for Lunge.

well worth the points- a quality tie up/harasser

Wow. Just wow. This guy defines cheap and effective. Sic em on a brick without fortitude and hope his super senses holds up. If it does, he's golden. If not he'll most likely survive and wind up on ss's again with bcf's! Either way he's one of the better harassers in the game, especially on a defenders team.

Well worth the points even if Bug is your only Defenders TA piece and he can't borrow a better combat value, Bug is a worthy addition for many a Soldier or Animal theme team. At just 44 points he's surprisingly versatile: his top-loaded Exploit Weakness can make him a bigger than expected threat against enemy figures 2-3X his size (and if he can't successfully hit them with his average but not great AV he's a solid tie-up against them), he's got range, mobility and super senses to keep him marginally safe. Keep him in hindering terrain as often as you can if you don't have a higher DV on hand for him to borrow from another Defender. For under 50 points (even still with the GotG ATA attached), having a means of busting through invulnerability on every click (EW, 3DaV, BCF) is a big draw. Great sculpt. I dock his accuracy just a tad as I feel he's maybe just a bit TOO good for the actual character.

Can you say Pounce?

Having faced this guy a few times, I found him to be extremely effective as a tie-up piece. If your opponent can't outwit the SS and you manage to roll it a few times, you'll know exactly what I mean. Having that front-loaded EW makes him a serious threat to anyone, so he can't just be ignored. I haven't played him, myself, yet, but I can definitely attest to the fact that this character can really "bug" you.

I don't know why, but I just love every figure with the Denny's TA

DC75 Sgt Rock and a Swarm of Bugs.

Rock gives them all Willpower. Leadership could get you an additional action. Their Def TA keeps them mostly on a 17 Def even if one is hit.

It's like a horde of locusts.

if only we had the rest of the Micronauts, Not much point of the keyword if he is the only one

Nifty little piece for the points. Great mobility with Leap Climb and able to break damage reducers on every click. Attack values aren't great, but acceptable for the points. Good keywords too. Nice little piece for a lot of teams.
