If i running shot with either psychic blast or pulse wave targeting Thor Buster would he take the damage? Since technically it's the mention powers that are doing the damage and not the running shot, i think Thor Buster should take the damage and Heimdall since his traits puts him the same situation, am i right or wrong?

The Psy Blast would deal zero penetrating damage.
The Pulsewave would deal damage normally, because it would ignore the defensive power.

Not to be a pain, but can you explain to me why psy blast would deal 0 and is the same ruling for heimdall?

ASGARDIAN CRYSTAL: Thorbuster can use toughness. Other characters using Quake, energy explosion, or running shot deal no damage to Thorbuster
SIGHT TO THE NINE WORLDS: Characters using Charge, Running Shot, or Hypersonic Speed deal no damage to Heimdall. Heimdall ignores other characters Shape Change and Stealth
Ok Since the character is Using Psy blast against Thorbuster Using a Running Shot, you character would Deal no Damage ie Zero damage. Does not matter is its a Psy blast EE, or just raw damage.
Since a pulsewave ignores all powers within a pulsewave it would ignore the Asgardian Crystal and the toughness and deal normal damage. Either 1 for multiple targets or the printed damage on a target PW.
Does that help?

It does, so i take it running shot and psy blast would do 0 to heimdall as well?

0 damage and no damage are not the same thing in HeroClix. It can make a different when dealing with critical hits and misses. When an attack deals 0 damage (Incapacitate), a critical hit will increase the damage by 1 and a critical miss will cause the attacker to take 1 damage. When an attack deals no damage, the damage is not changed on a critical hit or miss.
Pulse Wave ignores powers, but not traits. Thorbuster would take damage from a Running Shot+Pulse Wave because his power gets ignored. Heimdall wouldn't take damage from a Running Shot+Pulse Wave because his trait is not ignored.

Just a quick correction: Heimdall would take damage from RS + PW because the power you're referring to is a SP and not a trait.

Pulse Wave ignores powers, but not traits.
Actually, Pulse Wave has errata to make it ignore traits as well.
• The second sentence begins “All powers, traits, and team
abilities possessed or used…”

Plus, Sight to the Nine Worlds is a damage SP, not a Trait.

Future reference: Beer makes :g-starburst: looks like :star:. (Kinda like how it makes not-so-great women look fantastic.)
So kill'em both with RS+PW! Enjoy! (Kill Thorbuster and Heimdall with RS+PW, not beer and women. That would be bad.)

That's news to me. Thanks for the heads up. Rep!
To me it comes down to, Are you using Running Shot? If so it's no damage.

But in this case, that does not work.

Has nothing to do with thorbuster, but I didn't want to make another thread about pulsewave.
Here goes:
If a character has Lazarus pit and you kill them with a Pulsewave attack can they come back to life?

No. From the player's guide:
Characters with feats or team abilities that affect what happens upon their KO (such as Fantastic Four or Lazarus Pit) are still ignored during the Pulse Wave action. They still have a team symbol and are considered members of their teams, so characters outside the range of the Pulse Wave can benefit.

Yeah, with the current exception of Ulik, if you absolutely must wreck your opponent's carefully crafted strategy, reach for a Pulse Wave character.
And even if Ulik's Strongest of the Rock Trolls SP can't be ignored, Pulse Wave is still a great way to damage large swaths of his Rock Troll minions.
mmm... and if it´s a no damage attack then double 1 would not mean a click of damage to the attaker, right?

As long as Thorbuster is the only one affected by the attack, yes.
