What's the best way to use Nightcrawler?

Sorry if this has been asked before, but I was fortunate enough to pull a Nightcrawler a few weeks ago and I have used him with multiple combinations in H2H tournaments. I have won about half of the matches that I've used him in. Is there a definate winning combination that supports Nightcrawler?

Well, I'd have to say this...

I'd keep some support or X-Men nearby, because I just can't help but push the fuzzy blue elf. Even when I want to rest him, I end up pushing right on through his dial.

As for what else you need, other brusers! Whether they are super strength people or good ranged damagers, your opponent needs another target besides Nightcrawler. Plus, he can chip away at figures with toughness, but I've found that Nightcrawler's best use is to disrupt your opponent's support pieces.

Take out his outwit/support. Base his fliers. Try to knock guys off buildings.

Also, if you need some bait, he does pretty well. That super-senses roll just might give you the edge when he starts taking hits from the big guns. Just don't leave him too exposed, cause he really isn't that tough.

Put him in hindering, thats a 19 defense for range plus Sup Sense. If you need to move him, thats still 7 he can move. unless your running from a 10 range or running shot, you still have the Sup Sense. He is kind of like Thor, he's good at range or Close combat. You may say "but he has no ranged attack" In a way he does, you can move him in, attack for 2, then get out of there. In a close combat situation, he can keep attacking until he misses, I once did 8 damage with one attack(had a Black Cat and a Scarlet Witch to help him though). He is a great piece to chip away at your opponents support piece though

Hypersonic attacks are wonderful against characters with a low defense and low attack. For this reason, I think Nightcrawler is one of the best Batman killers in the game. Try to catch him when he’s pushed, then zip up and punch him for two clicks to take him off Outwit. When he clears, push and unload the Hypersonic attack (Batman’s defense is notoriously bad). You can also devastate other low-defense support characters, like Medics, Black Cats, and Panthers

HSS is made for harassing support pieces and nightcrawler with 2 damage does this very well. Id say put him in a team with a CC bruiser and make someone choose who they want to try to kill.

Another way is to have a team with a bunch of perplexers to support Nightcrawler. Having a hypersonic drive-by hit for four damage could even hurt bad boys with invulnerability.

I find he works extremely well with veteran Dr. Octopus, Harley (if you are playing mixed), and a medic. Octopus is decent on his own, and when you aren't using him you can perplex Nightcrawler's damage even more.
