DISCLAIMER: Just to start, this idea is not either for or against print and play, it is an idea for future sets.
I was thinking that for future sets (preferably along with) the BiBtB figure, NECA/Wizkids could package a set of feats and BFC's.
They could make it so that there are 2 sets, so that people who get multple bricks have that extra benefit, whereas those who buy single bricks can choose which set of cards they want.
for example,
card pack 1 has
2 copies of feat 1
2 copies of feat 2
1 copy of BFC 1
event dial 1
card pack 2 has
2 copies of feat 3
2 copies of feat 4
1 copy of BFC 2
event dial 2
If NECA keeps PnP then this is just cosmetic, giving players a chance at actual cards, while those who aren't brick buyers can still have access through PnP.
If I cared enough to actually want the cardboard, this would frustrate me. I love the game, but in truth, a single brick is all I can justify spending of any set. I pulled 45 out of 60 figures in mmy HoT brick, and was quite pleased with the distribution. With the current distribtution, I would not be able to justify another brick so that I could get a whole bunch of dupes and 5 cards.
If they were to include the cardboard in the BiBtB package, I would hope that it would be inclusive of all non-LE cards.
I don't know if NECA would bother to print anything if they could just have it on their website for relatively no cost. I like the idea of having actual cards but I just don't think NECA wants to do it anymore. Personally I like the idea of printing the feats/BFC on boosters and posters and letting players cut em out.

Wouldn't it be simpler to include the whole set of cards in one pack? What exactly is the justification for having 2 of each cards in two separate packs?
Seems redundant, and frustrating that anyone that wants the whole set has to buy 2 bricks to collect not just 1 set of the cards but 2?
If i wanted extras i would just print off an extra one

I have suggested putting a complete set of cards in a pack shrinkwrapped in every brick. This isn't new.
I further went on to suggest that they could even send/sell a retailer a pack for every brick that was purchased, so they could give them to everyone that buys a brick and sell the rest, just sell all of them, or use them as participation prizes for tournies.
In the end, though, we have print and play. If Wizkids sees no detriment to the game based on people using home-printed feats, then I see little reason why they would have any incentive to include free cardboard in boosters.

but just look at how cheap the bibtb surtur goes. the card packs would probably go this cheap if not cheaper. i have sold three surtur's on ebay for a penny.
