What do you think the chances of Superman losing are? Granted, he'll make it through this round, but the whole thing? I hope it happens. I hate that piece.

Superman should win this easily. He also should be the overall winner for the icons set. For all the polls??? Maybe, he is good enough to win it all and I still see him used often at our tourneys.

He's on my team for the next tourney at our venue.

That's because I'm neither playing favorites or blinded by loyalty. The question is not "which representation of your favorite character should be the 'official' figure," but which figure best represents the set. That, my friend, is Superman, hands down. I don't particularly enjoy the piece myself (though I have nothing against him), but in terms of historical perspective, which should rightly take precedence here over favoritism, there simply is no other valid choice than the figure that single-handedly changed the game forever.

And remember, were it not for Superman, Nightwing would not be Nightwing. ;)

Had to go with Superman. I agree with Tim Drake; whether you felt it was game-changing or game-breaking, Vet Superman is the Icon among Icons.

Also voted for U Luthor... That's a fun figure.

Whoo! I have an REV Superman and Darkseid set from icons...one of my all time favorite version of both characters and among my top four for Icons. As much as I wanted to vote for flash and dark knight detective...I think that Tim Drake and Starfire LE where far more competent. That and they were a cute LE couple. Hawkeye + MockingBird is still my favorite couple team though (100 points!)

I'm genuinely surprised by so many votes for Batwinkle, the rangeless, anything-but-nimble, anything-but-subtle, beat me/beat you Batman. It was very easy to skip this one and the magazine subscription.
