Opening a Case of...

I just pre-ordered my first case ever of X-plosion. Do you remember your first Case? What was it like? I have this warm feeling of Christmas in me.

I bought a case of Infinty Challenge last summer when they first came out. I ordered online from PJCC and, since it's only a 40 minute drive from home, I decided to drive there to pick it up rather than pay too much for shipping. I actually couldn't wait to get home and started cracking open boosters in thier parking lot! Got my first Vision unique before I even got out of the lot. Once I got home a friend and I split up the packs and started opening(although they were all mine I let him open them). It became a game to see who could pull more uniques. It was pretty much game, set, match after I pulled two unique Spider-Man and Thanos. In all I got something like 8 or 9 uniques out of that box and about 120 total of the 150 piece set. Fortunatly it also gave me enough to trade so that I could complete a set with a bare minimum of ebay hunting for the remaining 3 unique I needed. It is definitly fun to sit and crack open that many boosters in a row. And it does kind of feel like opening presents at Christmas when you were a kid and they just seemed to keep coming.

I made a tower of booster packs (Similar to a house of cards) out of all of them, and let it sit for an hour or so before I touched anything. The thing was like 2 1/2 feet tall!
