Need a rule clarified (LOL, who doesn't?)

My son and i are in the middle of a 400 pt fury and co. vs the skull and hydra. In the teams ability chart it says hydra members add +1 to attack value BUT it doesn't say mark them with a token as it specifically does when shield uses their ability.

so in theory, two hydra members b2b use their ability to raise the skull's attack by +2 and it's all 1 action. this ability is treated like probability control, correct?

as long as they are adjacent to skull there isnt any problem doing so, and It doesn't take an action to use their team ability. The only stipulation is the hydra member must have a clear line of fire to the target also.

I don't know what you mean by "Treated like probability control", but yes. It's all one action. However, the Hydra members must have LOS to the figure being shot at. They do not need to be in range, nor do they get marked with an action token.

SHIELD ability gives +1 to damage of a Ranged Attack
SHIELD ability does not require LoF
SHIELD ability costs a token for each bonus

Hydra ability gives +1 to Attack Value of a Ranged Attack
Hydra ability requires LoF
Hydra ability does not cost anything
