This trailer is being talked about in other threads, so I thought I'd start one of its own. The new trailer (and it is new, not just the old one with a new clip or two) plays with the Daredevil movie. I thought first I'd just relate some of hte cooler parts and speculate what might happen in the movie.
First I think Brian Singer is really going to get the point that the Brotherhood aren't evil, they just have a different view then the x-men arcoss. One scene in the trailer shows Gen. Stryker, the President and Senator Kelly (Mystique) in the oval office. Styker says something like "We've found the mutant's lair and are preparing to attack". Kelly (Mystique) says "That lair is a SCHOOL, full of children". I loved that idea that even after the X-Men almost killed her, she is still protecting them because the are mutants.
There was a rumor spread when the movie was being shot that Pryo would leave the X-Men and join the Brotherhood at end. Thers a scene in the trailer that makes me belive this rumor. Magneto, Mystique and Pryo are all sitting in (what I'm guess is) the X-Jet. Pryo tells Magneot "they all say your the bad guy" and Magneto smiles at him "is that what they say about me?". I know it doesn't sound like much, but give the rumor, the picture of them together in the same scene and both of them talking about the Brotherhoods views (what I'm guessing follows) I think this will happen.
The trailer has what I think will be a very powerful scene between Rogue, Iceman and the Drakes. The gist of the scene is Bobby is telling his family that hes a mutant and his parents can't believe it. If I had to guess, I would guess this scene leads to Bobby being "Cast out" of the family. His mother has a funny line after he shows them his powers - "have you even tried to not be a mutant?"
We also see about half of Colossus transformation into his organic steel - very cool looking. They show us Nightcrawlers teleportations powers. Basically theres a cloud of blue and black smoke, he disapears, another cloud appears and Nightcrawler comes running out of it. There's a great scene with Wolverine (claws out), Rogue and Iceman all standing outside of a house (the picture of them standing is on the net somewhere) and a police officer tells Logan "Drop your knives and put your hands over your head" and Logan just looks pissed and says "I can't really do that".
Last Kelly Hu's character's name is Deathstrike (as far as I know this if the first time we've heard this name, she's always been labeled by her "human" name before).
