Outwit Question

Ok my question is can you outwit a power on one of your friendly figures? Any help clearing this up would be appreciated.:)

Nope. They put out an errata in the FAQ stating that Outwit only works on enemy figs. So you can’t outwit Battle Fury (I assume that’s what you’d want to Outwit).

And in case you were looking for another option – you can mind-control an Outwitter, and then can use that Outwit to cancel a power held by the player who owns the fig. This can come in handy if you mind control someone like Panther and want him to BCF an adjacent White Queen, because you can Outwit Super-Senses for the attack. Any powers that had been removed from the mind-controlled characters Outwit are restored. As an example of what I’m talking about here:

Player B has an Experienced Black Panther, who Outwits the Ranged Combat Expert on Player A’s Bullseye. Player A uses the Experienced White Queen to Mind-Control Player B’s Experienced Black Panther, who Outwits the Invulnerability on the adjacent She-Hulk and uses BCF to do 6 clicks of damage. Because he lost control of the Outwit on Bullseye, Bullseye regains RCE and uses it to shoot Panther for three clicks.

Another example: Player B has a Rookie and a Veteran Black Panther, who Outwit Super-Strength and Charge from Player A’s She-Hulk. Player A’s White Queen mind-controls the Rookie Panther, who uses Outwit on the Veteran Panther’s Outwit and attacks him for one click. She-Hulk’s Charge and Super-Strength are restored because Player B is no longer Outwitting them and has to wait until his turn to declare that he’s using Outwit again, and she charges the Veteran Panther, picking up a heavy object on the way and hitting him for 6 clicks.

Thanks that clears it up. I did want to OW Battle Fury so that I could carry Spiral. My team has to be 200 pts or less mixed and I wanted to use the following:

E Annihilus
R Intergang Medic
E Vulture
U Spiral

I really need the Annihilus/ Intergang Combo, and wanted to have Spiral but I cannot have a figure with Tk to throw her into battle. (I think that R Mandroid is the cheapest one)
Oh well back to the drawing board.:(
