Telekinesis - Ranged or Close Combat?

According to the PAC "This character can use a close combat attack to move another figure or object". So if I'm using Magneto V and hit my opponent's Black Panther R from 4 spaces away, successfully with a heavy object, does he get 6 clicks of damage (Maggie's 4 + 2 for he object) or just 3 for the object? And would this be different if Black Panther was in an adjacent square? I've checked the rules, FAQ's & forums & can't figure this out.

Please help!

A TK attack with an object is a ranged attack, so it only does 2 or 3 clicks of damage, depending if it's a light or heavy object. Check the Rules at:

Close Combat Attack is there to indicate that you must be adjacent to the figure or object to use it, ie you can hit Panther from 4 squares away but not with a dumpster that's 4 squares away.

Thanks. So I take this to mean that in my example, Black Panther would get 3 clicks of damage whether or not he is adjacent to Magneto.
