Gotta go for awhile, so your BFCs are:
Fantastic Four: Placeholder
Asgardians: Bizarro World
So your BFC for this game is:
BIZARRO WORLD: A critical miss does not deal the attacker damage. Instead, after the attack resolves the target of the attack is healed of 1 damage. After a critical hit is resolved, remove an action token from the target of the attack if it has more than one action token.

Good morning, Mich! How are you?
We should clear this now. Which takes precedence? Map or recap? I always go with the recap, cause the map can sometimes be a little wonky.
In this case, you have Loki (silver #1) on D14 on your recap, but on the map he's in E14. And Kurse is in E1(...). You mean E12, like your map?
michiganj24
12/25/2009, 01:20
Sorry yeah Kurse is at E12 must have stopped typing and yah on this map espeically trust the map as I have to eyeball coordinates and cant see them clearly all the time
Krueger666
12/25/2009, 14:45
So, I'm assuming this time we go with the map, so Loki is in E14. I ask you please from now on we stick with the recap, ok? It's easier to get the icons confused in the map, since both players can mess with them. And the recap, on the other hand, it's the responsability of each player. Ok?
F4 turn 1b)
1) Ben moves to M6 grabbing the Tombstone on his way.
Free) Reed double Perplexes Spider-Man's defense
2) Johnny picks up Spidey and flies to M7, dropping the arachnid in N7

Isn't the defense provided by the Tombstone cumulative with Sue's defense? In this case 19 from Sue +2 from the object?
I need to check it out.
michiganj24
12/25/2009, 20:43
Hmm I always heard it was replace last which is why you cant perplex on top of defend/FF dont think i woudl have veen tried against a 21 defense Yikes

Hmm I always heard it was replace last which is why you cant perplex on top of defend/FF dont think i woudl have veen tried against a 21 defense Yikes
Yup and I forgot about the rule of 3.
But it's replace, then modify. In this case, first replace Thing's defense with Sue's (19) and then modify +2. Since we can't go higher than 21 (which is +3 than 18), it stays on 21.
You can redo your turn, if you want to.
TheVagrantKing
12/25/2009, 21:00
It's about the timing.
The reason you can't Perplex is because the order of events would go:
Free. Reed Perplexes to 19. (It's own action.)
Then on the attack, Sue's defense would, in a sense, overlap it, making it pointless.
In the case of Tombstone, the Desk, and ESD/CR, those happen instantaneously. It's one continuous action.
So, in summary:
Perplex doesn't work because it's two different actions.
Tombstone etc. does, because it's all on one action.

Yes, Johnny will use 1 theme PC roll to avoid that big hit.

Hi, Mich! Remember that no figure can fly over the energy fields (the orange lines) even with Phasing. So Karnilla, using her full movement, can only go to the I line. I'm guessing you want her in I12, right?
BTW, where is Kurse? Where did the attack came from?
EDIT: Forget the Kurse question. I looked at the map and he's is I8.

But wait Phasing isnt flying over it just going through it. So that isnt allowed either?? Do you have a copy of the Castle Doom Rules

No, I have the map here in my hands. It says:
Thick orange lines along the grid of this map are force fields.
When determining if a LOF is blocked, treat force fields as walls. However, force fields are not walls or blocking terrain; they can't be destroyed and characters can't move over or through them using any power, ability or effect (such as Phasing/Teleport or the Flight Ability) (...)
EDIT: Here are the full rules:
CASTLE DOOM MAP RULES
Thick orange lines along the grid of this map are force fields.
When determining if a line is blocked, treat force fields as walls.
However, force fields are not walls or blocking terrain, they can't be destroyed and characters can't move over or through them using any power, ability, or effect (such as phasing/teleport or the Flight ability). Characters on opposite sides of force fields are not adjacent.
When counting squares to determine the range or area of any effect, you can't count beyond a force field. (To determine if you are counting beyond a force field, draw a line from the center of the square where the effect originates, to the square you are attempting to count, if the line goes through a force field or through a diagonal bordered by the grid of the force field, the square can't be counted)
Players must choose starting ares diagonally opposite each other, whenever possible.

Actually, since it was a ranged combat, Spidey only had 17D. He had CR at the time, but they didn't apply. The shot would hit anyway, so it didn't matter.

3 things here, Mich:
a) Loki can't be TK'ed to E4 (as your map shows). The maximum he can go to is E5. Irrelevant for the attack, but he'll stay here.
b) Your attack values were wrong. If he's attacking Johnny (like you said in your roll), he'd be against a 22 Defense (not 19). Johnny has ES/D, so replace with Sue's 19, +2 from ES/D, +1 from hindering. The attack missed, but still...
c) You used one theme PC with Karnilla? You sent 2 rolls so I'm assuming you did. She'll be pushed for that token and will end at (4/8).
Is this all correct?
michiganj24

A) Ah yes i counted from Loki not Malekith so yeah that makes sense
B) No my defense Values are right Johnny has No Es/D he is on his last clcik which has no Es/d
C) No did it go through twice must have been a double click. Real pc i woudl have put PC but at this point I guess i dont really care Push here if you want you have won

Then please redo your turn, because I don't know why you've put him at (1/7) in your turn 5a)
And we have to speed this up a bit, cause right now with 2 games and the commissioning on League 1, my time is running short.

Are you upset with something? Or just an hidden strategy?
michiganj24

No not upset (well maybe with myself for managing to always make good characters SUCK lol) but no just not seeing anyway to do anything at this point so just pretty much conceding the game. I just cant hit 22 defenses I mean even with my perplex I need a what 10 and then a 10 again fo rit to stick. Nope you played a good game and won
I iwsh I had a hidden rope a dope like strategy but as you have seen in my games my strategy is non existent

Well, my friend, if you are really, really, really conceding, then I'll stop here too. Quite frankly, I need a pause cause I have so many games and the commissionner duties.
Is that ok, Mich and jbship?

If Mich wants to concede, I guess that's fine.
Pending approval from mich, score would be Fantastic Four 398, Asgardians 50.
Yours is the only game left going, but I wasn't going to put the 2nd round up until Saturday.

Yep I was going to concede but then I realize that wont be fair here as you get the extra points and in this format they mean as much as anything so cant do that you have to earn them as otherwise other will be angry at me

Well, a concession would forfeit all the points to Krueger as when you concede you are assuming that the opponent takes all the victory points. I'll allow it this once.
In this tournament, it won't actually matter that much since we have 16 teams as only one team will be 4-0 at the end. So VP is really only going to be used in the end as a way to do tie-breakers in final standings for teams 2-16. Not to mention there are no prizes here, so really, no big deal.
BUT, from here on out, play it through please, hopeless as it may be.
