Ok. Me and my dad are having an argument. He says the Dr.Doom Le is a doombot. I say its really Dr.Doom. I think the name is kind of in my favor, and there is no way a Doombot could have all of those abilities.. Anybody know whos right?!

Can you explain more please? I am slightly confused. Why wouldnt they name him Doombot? And how did it get all of dooms powers?

He's a highly advanced Doombot that actually believes that he is Dr. Doom. It is a limited edition of the Doombot however, and you can tell because of the figure and the base.

And to further explain...

Using the current format, if there was a real Dr. Doom LE it would've been called Victor Von Doom instead of Dr. Doom. The sculpt would have used the "open fist" instead of the clenched one and it would definately not have been a level 3 LE.

The LEs follow the basic set's (CT) numbering. This LE accounts for the Doombot's spot in CT.

Hope this helps clear things up,

Another good way to tell is the lack of an Arch Enemy base. Arthur Curry (Aquaman) has his, so Doom should have one too, but this one doesn't. It's the deluded Doombot.

I like my LE Doombot and can't wait to use his pulsewave perplexed to the max to make people angry. :)

The archenemy base identifier isn't always accurate. Sabertooth has a blue base, but Victor Creed doesn't.

Also, are you sure you can perplex pulse waves? I remember something about that saying that it's not legal.

The only set not to give LE's their archenemy bases was IC; and there it only affects three figures - Wolverine, Victor Creed and Ned Leeds. Starting with HT, they put the AE bases back on (which only still affects two - Superman and Arthur Curry). No LE's of AE figurest existed in HT (though several should).

Ghost,

Legal? Yes... Effective? No...

I assume you (and Joe Kerr) meant upping the damage of the Pulse Waving fig with Perplex. All that would do is see the damage bumped back down to 1 for the wave. You'll need Enhancement or SHIELD to bump that damage above 1 just like EE. ;)

What? hahaha I've been playing that wrong and no one has ever said anything about it.

That's what I meant. You can perplex up the damage if there is only one target, otherwise it won't work because you can't perplex in the middle of action. (D.C. FAQ).

Yeah I just looked over the DC FAQ. So only enhancement and S.H.I.EL.D can bump up the damage for multiple ranged attacks and pulsewave. Well I used perplex on pulsewave, but no one ever called me on it. I'll stop donig it now only because I see it's not actually allowed.

The extra pulsewave damage hurt some of my characters just as much so oh well. I've never used the power in a tournament though. Just friendly games.

I knew as soon as I said that, I was forgetting some of the ones from IC. Oh well... it's still the Doombot. ;)

huh ^^

How can you ever think he's Dr.Doom !!
Doom does not feel worthy for only 68 points !^
he's 1 of the first Doombots created by Dr.Doom (read AZS Doombot review) !
