Has anyone heard anything about an Apocalypse clix in the future? If so, he would probably be the highest point character in the game.

my guess would be that he will be something along the lines of a darkseid or something like that. he'll be expensive and powerful but nowhere near what he should actually be

bluca,

Maybe not. Wizkids (John L.) has been getting a lot better at capturing the "comic feel" of the characters over the past few sets. Just look at the new DD and Spider-man over the older versions of the characters. There is hope for Apocalypse.

With this in mind he'll probably end up real expensive if/when he finally comes out. My guess is somewhere between 150-180 points!

Why would he cost less than V Dr. Doom?

150-180 points more likely 400-500 points

I think it's safe to say we won't see a 400-500 point small figure anytime soon. I would guess Apocolypse will be in the high 100's, possibly even in the 200 point range. I could see him being more or cheaper than V Doom; personally, I'd be more afraid if Doom were after me than Apocolypse. Doom's actually conquered the world in current coninuity; Apocolypse needed an alternate timeline to do it.

Simple really,

He'll probably end up costing less than Vet Doom because of 3 things.

1) He probably won't have a team ability
2) He wont fly
3) His range should be less than 10 and he most likely will have only 1 lightning bolt

Other than that I don't see Apoc stacked with too many "expensive powers" like running shot or incap.

Hope this makes sense,

Invulnerability, toughness, regeneration, super strength, rce, outwit and probably a few other things. It's been so long since I've read a story with him. Maybe shape change? He can phase can't he? I didn't list that cause I can't remember if he could teloport or something along those lines.

I would also assume his attack and defense powers would be high. I would also assume he would be at least 200 points. But you know what a lot of assuming does...

Joe Kerr,

Hmmm... that sounds a heckuva lot like Darkseid. Darkseid costs 151 points. Now bump up his stats a bit, switch around some powers, change the name to "Apocalypse" and that should make him cost around 170-180 points. ;)

Still costs less than Doom V! :D

Somewhat ;) The only difference would be that Darkseid can be poisoned and Apocalypse wouldn't.

I'm not sure how much regeneration cost. Must not be much with the Vampire Lackey. Also Wolverine and Sabertooth aren't high priced figures. The only high priced figure I can think of with regen would be Thanos. Maybe Thanos is giving me the wrong idea for Apocalypse's scale.

I would imagine that Apocalypse's attack and shield would be higher than Darkseid though. At least an 18 for the first click.

Agreed,

I think Apoc will have a starting AV of 11-12 and DV of 17-18 his damge will most likely be a 4.

Regen as you pointed out doesn't seem too costly a power, definately not in the same league as Inv or Imperv. Still it's hard to imagine him costing more than Doom unless they stack him with heavy range, a team ability and some flying. To see what kind of impact these things can have on a fig's point cost just compare Exp Superman to Vet Hulk.

No comparison stat and IMHO power-wise. But just take a look at that point spread! Or for a more relevant comparison compare E Superman to Darkseid, again Supes is outclassed when it comes to numbers and colors but still he costs more.

Bottom line is that they could probably represent Apoc pretty well while keeping him in the 150-180 point range. Though I really would not mind seeing him clock in around 200 points either. But if he does indeed come out this way they had better make a new Thanos that accurately represents him! Thanos should have a plethora of powers that rivals Doom himself! ;)
