So... This is my first post here. I apologize if it's in the wrong place. My afmily and I have been playing HC since it started. My oldest son wants a HC figure of Alex Mercer from the video game "Prototype" If any one is familiar with the game and would give me some ideas on stats for this character. I have already selected a figure to convert and I have plenty of unused dials from all my HC repaints-turned RPG figs. If any one could help me out it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

His dial would... change alot I imagine, for example on some clicks he'd have Blades/Claws/Fangs (You know why.), other clicks he'd have things like Invulnerable, but a really low speed (When he's in his armor), Pulse wave near the end of his dial to represent his special attack, he'd have flying, super strength, quake..
I can kinda imagine how I'd fit all that onto a click and It'd be pretty nifty.
Maybe if I get alittle spare time later this week I'll see what I can do, but for now just posting afew ideas for other people :)
Also, welcome to the forums! ^^/

Thanks that sounds like a good start. I appreciate any help as I have never played the video game and don't know much about this dude's powers. The figure I'm using is shown below:

I'm using a Games Workshop Daemonette arm for the weird one he has and lots of GS to make it look more like the game. I'll post some pics once complete.

Like I said I'll try and work on it in the week when I'm not busy ^^ Have to be in the mood to make a dial good.
Anyway best of luck with the conversion atleast! Also once the dial is built, if you follow the instructions from this website you will be able to print one off and glue it into a base, that way you'll 100% have a HeroClix Alex ^^

:star:-Trait: Assimilation: At the start of you're turn you may choose to replace Alex Mercers Attack ability with Steal Energy, this lasts until the beginning of you're next turn.
Damage - He could be anyone: If Alex did not attack this round, he can use Shapechange.
He's quite powerful I'll admit, but to be fair the guy slaughters like 1/4th of the worlds army in that game xD;;;
He starts off with his arm-blade as you're sculpt is going to go, he then switches to his armor form, this is very tough but prevents him from flying, he only keeps it for awhile before switching to Hammerfist, hence the heavy quake and CCE, finally near the end he switches to Regen and his special power (represented by Pulse Wave), I'm thinking the one where he just explodes spikes/tentacles out of his body in a 360 direction.
If you have any questions, ideas or wants feel free to say and I can easily edit/rework it etc ^^

TopHatCat: Thanks so much this is great!! The only question I have is the points value high enough for such a powerful character? Otherwise it looks fantastic! Thanks for your quick help.
BTW: where's the dial generator that lets you print round dials?

According to the current cost calculator that's roughly his price O.o Even after I added the Special Abilities in, to be honest he could do with an extra +10 or so I agree, but that's upto you :)
As for where you print them, follow my link to that website, copy the dial onto there, after you've made it, click "view dial" on the top right, that will show you the round dial. Save the image.
Then follow the instructions here;

(Scroll down to Dial Printing)
And that should tell you how to get them the rough size :)
So best of luck! ^^

So as promised here's my attempt. My son was pleased. He did OK when we played he got second place in points among the 5 of us. Let me know what you think. It's a Hasslefree minis "Baker" figure with a GW Daemonette arm attached. I painted the freehand on the back of his jacket to resemble the character.

He was about 15 points away from first place at the end of a 500 point slugfest. You were very close with the powers according to my son.
