View Full Version : Sinister synd teams anyone?

i like creating theme teams, but right noe this one is giving me a headache. anybody got ideas how to spice this up?

i use E- doc ock, E-blizzard, E- boomerang, E- hyde, V-hobgoblin, and V- bullseye, sometimes i switch for E- sandman or E- whirlwind. mostly this team is a headache. no ouwitters, perplexers, or PCers.

any suggestions would help.

Tha's the latest evolution of my Syndicate team. Since IC, the Syndicate was the first team I ever really made, an to this day in all its evolutions, its undefeated. Keep Bullseye n Boomerang next to each other to share bullseyes attack, an have a shield medic or black cat there to add an extra click if needed (all of that with Boomerangs double energy explosion equals bliss against groups)....doc oc is good to share his attack with whirlwind after he gets dropped off by vulture somewhere, an the good doctor has leadership too...and then there's Joey the Snake :D Back in the day Kingpin an Mr. Hyde used to be in it, but they've since parted ways with the Syndicate for brighter horizons. And if you're a stickler for usin all bad guys, jes substitute a hydra medic for the shield one....an black cat has that whole good/bad thing about her, so she fits fine.

For starters, the team you listed comes to 279 pts. You're not using 21 of your points. So, first logical move is to stick E Vulture in. Now, next thing I'd do is take out the V hobgoblin. He just doesn't make his points back usually. If you really want that extra taxi then at least drop him to his E version. It only saves you 9 points, but that's still nine points you can spend elsewhere. Next move for me would be to take out blizzard. Running shot's nice, but you're never going to be able to hurt many people with him. He can be useful for throwing barriers around, but I only find barriers truly useful in an indoor map. Outdoors, the taxi to easily ignores it. So if you take him out that leaves you with 56 points to play with. Put in E Whirlwind and R Kingpin. I know he isn't technically Syn. Syndicate, but he still fits, and that chance at an extra action is really nice. Also, how can you resist after watching the new Daredevil movie:D.

So, my 300 pt Synister Syndicate team would look something like this:

V Bullseye
E Doctor Octopus
E Boomerang
E Vulture
E Hobgoblin
E Mr. Hyde
E Whirlwind
R Kingpin

If you're going with only allowing members of that team, then I can't help ya. But if you're allowing any other figures as well, I'd get rid of enough of them to allow E Ultron into the team. That SinSyn ability would rule all with him in there!

thanks for the suggestion with the ultron but i want to base the team around sinister synd rather than on the super charged go-bot.

If you are willing to stray from using a team completely comprised of Syndicate members, give this one a shot.

Bullseye V
Boomerang E
Doc Ock V
Doombot V
Vulture E
Mr. Hyde E
Hobgoblin R
Hydra Medic E

300 Points even. The Doombot is there mostly for the leadership and to serve as another taxi. Hopefully you won't mind using it since it doesn't really steal the show like the Mad Adamantium Robot would.

This is my 200 point all Syn Synd team. Its worked very well for me in the past. Bulleye is tough and WIllpower with Dr Ock is great. Sandmans Inv is hard to overcome and he has some punch.

first off Sinister Six are great !
Sinister Syndicate is I feel one of the most powerfull team abilities.

Hobgoblin use the E version or none at all: R has no SS-team so no high attack/V makes you pay for a higher AV(that's what SS-team is for !) and more clicks which is better spend elsewhere.

I like the E Blizzard his move/RS can be used to base one of your own figs to give them 10 AV,though expensive.
Sandman is really cool E or V version is nice,heavy hitter.
Vulture: again his AV isn't high enough to pump the others and when he's not taking out Magneto:D (I did this actually !:( further proof magneto is underpowered)he's not going to attack so stick with the R.
V Doc Oc will give you the perplex, but looses the SS-team.
E boomerang, when his AV is being pumped by SS-team he's scarily good !
well I don't like Bullseye but add him too.

PC what for ?
you aren't going to miss mutch with an AV of 10,11 !!
