View Full Version : question about probability control
Having a bit of a dispute here. The question is, can you use probability control during your turn, AND your opponent's turn? I'm looking at the F4 starter rules, and it doesn't say anything about using it during one turn or the other. Thank you in advance.
Try the PAC or player's guide for power specific questions
PROBABILITY CONTROL Once during your turn, this character allows you to reroll one of your dice (or die) rolls and to ignore the result of the original roll. All dice used in the original roll must be rerolled. A character using this power must be within 10 squares of the character for which the original roll was made, and have a clear line of fire to that character. A character can use this power on itself. Using the same rules, once per round during an opponent’s turn, this character allows you to force that opponent to reroll one of his or her dice (or die) rolls and to ignore the result of the original roll
Based on this you can use it once during your turn and once during another player's turn each round.
That's what I read too. Interesting, because I believe the way we've been playing here, you can use it once, and don't get it back until it's your turn again. Nice to know. Thanks.
The trick is when you have a game of more than 2 players. In that case if you used it on the next player's turn, then you could not use it on any of the other opponents turns during that round.
Got it. Thank you very much!

You sure about this? It says during "an opponent's" turn - I read that as once every opponent's turn.

It states once per round you may use it during an opponent's turn. That means that it may only be used once on another player's turn in any given round, and there may be multiple turns for other players in a round.
