External Access to Units Information

Hi there,

I was wondering - is there a web services API available for the HCRealms Units section? I am looking at building a Google Wave Gadget for playing clix online, and that would make life easier for getting dial information.

If not - is there a database export of the units that I might be able to have?

Does the program Battle Planner satisfy as a database export of the units?

The OP was, basically, wanting a way to access the Units' database as a developer to create something that interacts with it.

There is currently not a setup for this. I will have to talk to Typhon about this, but I have little knowledge on how to create APIs.

Depending on how BattlePlanner exports, that could be an alternative option.

We are working on a separate project that may satisfy your needs; but we're just in the beginning steps of setting the API up. At this time the data is not available though.

I'd be interested in hearing about your project though; so feel free to PM me about it.

O, by the way-- there was a webpage that was scaled down for phones-- awesome, but no longer shows powers (just stats). Can that be fixed easily?

Don't worry ... it's actually being planned for android first ... because my friend and I don't have a mac to make an iphone app for (despite my having an iphone; and he a droid). We plan to buy a mac soon to built it though.
