Highlights/Results:
Luke Skywalker, Jedi Master of a new order of Jedi takes the repentant Jedi Kyp Durron in a search for the rumored holocron of Darth Bane. Little do they know that someone more than a holocron holo would greet them on their arrival on Rattatak.

Luke and Kyp find themselves facing off against none other than Darth Bane, the proponent of the Rule of two sith. Bane takes a Dark Jedi into combat, sure of victory. Luke is unsure of how to handle the situation and hold back, waiting for Bane to move in. Bane takes the time to build up his darkside energies. The skirmish erupts as Luke moves in to attack the dark jedi who has strayed too far from Bane. Luke is caught off guard as Bane rushes into combat injuring the jedi master. Kyp makes a furious assault on Bane and the Dark Jedi. However Luke succumbs to the overwhelming power of Bane. In a fit of rage, Kyp summons his knowledge of the dark side, taken from Exar Kun himself, and takes Bane on himself. Bane, preoccupied by Luke early on get injured gravely and soon falls to the burning power of Kyp Durron. The dark jedi is unsure of how to proceed. Kyp eyes the wavering dark Jedi and shoots a bolt of force lightning at the darksider. Kyp wins the day...but at what cost to himself he ponders.

By far one of the best 100 point battles. Nicely done Davey. :grin: The sith had a major advantage...amazing that Kyp's attacks hit.

Highlights/Results:
4-way battle. Vader VS Starkiller VS Luke VS Anakin. Initially the echo of Vader's past, General Skywalker and his 501st team with the rebels and Starkiller to end the threat of Thrawn and Vader. General Skywalker however reneges on his deal and strikes at the rebels. Thrawn and Vader concentrate on Starkiller and Komari Vosa.

The battle reaches a stalemate, Vader and Luke team up against Skywalker and Starkiller. After an intensive battle, the 501st gets defeated but manage to take down thrawn and his troopers. The rebellion have only Wedge while Starkiller is powered by the power of the darkside. The apprentice strikes down Wedge Antilles and unleashes Bolts of force lightning on an already weary Vader. Emerging victorious the words of Shaak Tii echo in the apprentice's mind. "The Sith Always betray one another..." Indeed, betrayal is the way of the sith.

Highlights/Results:
Battle for the lightsaber crystals on Ilum. Vodo-Siosk Bass leads Old Republic Jedi in a search for higher grade lightsaber Crystals. Sidious sends his bounty hunters to destroy the newly discovered Cystal vein. Vader and his Apprentice, attempt to gather crystals to create a new army of lightsaber equipped warriors while Luke, joined by Mara and his sister sense trouble and attemtp to investigate.

Almost immediately the Imperials attack the Old Republic contingent. Sidious' mercenaries make planetfall and decide to bide their time just as Luke arrives. Boba Fett shoots a missile against the NR forces and easily knocks out the mouse droid support. Boba then shoots a salvo of missiles against Vodo-Siosk Bass, who then runs headlong into battle while Malak continues his fight. Luke, Mara and Leia move to intercept the Imperials. Taking notice, Vader grips Luke several times forcing the NR jedi into battle.

Before long Luke shows why he is grandmaster and quickly makes short work of Vader. Leia is then attacked by Dash while Mara is killed by Malak. Vodo dies while trying to distract the NR Grandmaster becoming a force spirit but his attempts to aid Malak are short lived as he becomes one with the force by Luke's Force defenses. Boba and his troops are slowly whittled away while Thrawn and the remaining imperials move back to rethink their next move.

In a not so suprising move, Sith, Old Republic and Imperials decide to turn on the NR faction. (Traydor ka cons...hehehe) The physical attacks do little to phase luke but he falls prey to an unseen kouhoun infestation. The Old Republic and Imperials then turn on the Sith, removing Boba Fett from the skirmish as well with a well placed bolt of force lightning. Soon only Dash and Thrawn remain. Dash points out a beautiful looking piece of crystal which fools thrawn who is then easily dispatched. Seeing that he was already paid before hand, Dash Rendar collects all the cystals he can. He figures that he can sell them in the black market anyway. :p

Typhon wants you to use the whole forum and not just a single thread because it's causing server issues. Why not just split the discussion forum and the trade forum. You can also make a forum for "SW comics/movies/series" discussion.

That way at least, it won't be so hard to search a thread.

The power of the darkside overwhelms all. Plagueis uses Force Corruption whil Bane attacks with Sith Rage and Jedi Hunter for an overwhelming 50 damage each strike. Obi falls first giving Galen the courage to fight on. Kota repulses Bane but it no match for the true sith Lord. Galen force pushes Bane 2 times in the match but even with the damage from Kota's repulse, he fails to kill the Darkside Behemoth. As a final act, Galen Marek uses Force Push on himself and Bane but Bane, down to 10 hp, is able to withstand being thrown into a pit. Again the Darkside Duo remain victorious.


Amazing. Bane is a monster. Even with VAR, Kota and Obi he can't be beat. I have more respect for Bane now more than ever.:eek:

Section 604. was the part of the Floor Rules that had General Obi-Wan Kenobi listed as banned, the list was officially removed.

Here's a part that is particularly interesting.

Soresu Style Mastery only affects non-melee attacks in DCI-sanctioned tournament play.

Highlights/Results:
5-way battle in the streets of Corscant's upper city. Darth Bane, Darth Vader, General Windu, Darth Revan and the Grandmaster Luke Skywalker along with their escorts duke it out in the streets of Coruscant.

The game begins with Grand master Luke being the target of the Republic, Old Republic and Imperial Forces. Luke and Bane make a deal and focus their efforts to handle Revan but get attacked by Mace Windu and Jarael in an effort to slow down the advance of the two Force Masters. Vader sends PROXY into battle while ordering his apprentice to meditate and gather the energies of the darkside. Revan sends the battlemaster to take on Leia, but gets demolished by the burning power of Luke Skywalker. In a twisted move, Revan sends his younglings to stall Bane, even managing to damage the Darkside monster in the process.

Bane enters combat against Vader, Windu and Jarael with Luke supporting him through the force. In an unexpected move, PROXY uses his combat proccessor and takes on the visage of Bane himself. Bane, caught between Vader's hatred and PROXY's mimicked strength soon falls. Revan attacks the Republic and Sith forces using a force storm to take out Jarael and the ugnaughts. He is then attacked by the determined Obi-Wan, eventually taking the corrupted Jedi out of the picture.

Soon only 5 warriors remain: Luke, Plagueis, A Jedi Crusader; Obi-Wan Kenobi and a fully empowered Starkiller. The factions turn on Galen Marek and use Luke to battle the darksider. Plagueis and the crusader take the opportunity and team up against Obi-Wan, only to be blasted by waves of force lightning from behind. Luke and Galen use their temporary alliance to strike down Obi-Wan and the rest. In the end Luke overpowers Galen, making him one with the force. Indeed at the Galactic Capital of the Republic corruption knows no bounds. Even the mighty Luke Skywalker has a soul blackened by the darkside....

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

There have been several questions lately regarding the future of the Star Wars Miniatures and Roleplaying Game and until now I haven’t had definitive answers to give you. After a lengthy evaluation, Wizards of the Coast has decided not to renew the Star Wars license with Lucasfilm. We’ve had a long and fantastic run, but with the economic downturn, we have made the tough decision to discontinue our Star Wars lines.

The license officially ends in May this year, with WotC product available through August. In the meantime, we have awesome new products still coming your way. This week, we released The Dark Times minis and Galaxy of Intrigue RPG. We’ll have more coming with Masters of the Force minis in April, which will have some of your most favorite characters along with rare creatures from the Dejarik Holochess game that have never appeared in our game. We’ll also release The Unknown Regions RPG in April, which includes entirely new planets and mini-adventures for each world.

We are finishing the line with a bang so look for special programs at your local game store to stock up on favorite sets before they go into the vault. We will continue to support our Star Wars forums on the Wizards Community site so you can reach out and chat with us and other fans.

While I know the news is disappointing, we wanted to make this announcement as soon as possible and thank you for being such great fans. It’s been a fantastic ride with the Star Wars community and working with Lucasfilm. We hope you enjoy the next several months of great products. You never know when we may circle back again!

Results/Highlights:
Two of the most powerful force users in history square off in a battle over Coruscant's upper city. Grand Master of the Jedi Order, Luke feels a disturbance and investigates with Lobot and 2 bodyguards in tow. In the shadows, PROXY follows the renowned Jedi Master in an effort to improve his combat database.

GM Luke runs into past versions of his immediate family. The echoes of Obi-Wan Kenobi; a younger version of himself; Han and Leia and an unknown Jedi face off against him.

Obi-Wan rushes into battle while Han shoots at the bodyguards. Luke deftly blocks the shots, but gets overwhelmed by the multitude of attacks. Obi self sacrifices himself in the hopes of enlightening Galen Marek, only for Luke to dispel the force spirit with a simple jedi gesture. The assailants focus on Luke, unaware that PROXY has entered the fray using a holographic template of Luke to sow confusion.

Starkiller sees his old droid but is forced to focus on the more dangerous threat. With one final push of force energies he defeats Luke, only to end up alone against PROXY.

PROXY attacks the now weakened Starkiller and succesfully defeats his former master. In his mechanical voice PROXY congratulates himself at finally performing his prime directive.

Obi-wan and Anakin spring into action to save the overzealous republic senator from the grip of the separatist Sith Lords.

Maul moves in for the kill and manages to defeat Obi-wan in a show of juyo swordsmanship. Tyrannus, allows the animal that is Darth Maul to toy with the Jedi. However, Anakin, after seeing his former master fall, goes on the offensive, aided by his secret consort Padme Amidala, easily slaying Maul and catching the smug Dooku off-guard.

Battle droids try to take down the senator from Naboo only to be cut down by "aggressive negotiations". Dooku enters combat against Anakin, only for him to discover that this time Skywalker is much more powerful, he has become one of the best Djem So Stylists in the order. When Dooku bites the dust, Whorm attacks with his remaining battle droids, but is no match for the burning fury that is the chosen one, Anakin Skywalker.:grin:

Lord Vader leads a small group of troopers to deal with a rebel contingent lead by someone named "Skywalker". A Gran Raider hired by the Imperial was quickly disposed by the Rebels when they saw him skulking around the corner. With the location of the Rebels pinpointed, the young chiss commander together with Admiral Ozzel, sends the troopers to key points in the map to set up an assault. Swapping positions with a trooper, Lord Vader successfully breaks in the middle of Rebel territory taking out Jarael and Han Solo. Vader tries to convince his son to join him but was answered with a really strong Force push (and a flamethrower attack from T3-M4). Frustrated that his son's potential would go to waste, a batttered Vader approaches Luke Skywalker and finishes him with his bloodshine blade. Severing all ties to his past, Vader is now one with the dark side of the Force.

Lightside factions (Up to New Republic Era): Old Republic, Republic, Rebellion, New Republic
Darkside factions (Up to New Republic Era): Sith, Mandalorian, Empire, Yuuzhan Vong
Fringe faction can be used with either Lightside or darkside builds.
Characters with affinity ignore lighside/darkside faction restrictions
Squads that do not include characters with a built in force rating get an immediate 30 points worth of reinforcements.

Jacen Solo, now known as Darth Caedus uses Aang Tii flow walking to witness his Grand Parents in action. Unknowingly he assists a sith sect in battle against them.

The sith bide their time, waiting for the right opportunity to strike. Anakin moves his troops into position being cautious of the hidden enemies. Jarael moves first attacking a sith marauder. Mistakenly she gets caught in the trap set by the assassin and she watches as he steals her force energies.

Anakin enters combat as well, facing off against his grand son. His first strike hits an illusion and he gets hit twice by a virulent poison dart. Padme comes to the rescue and they both manage to dispel the vision from the future.

Darth Caedus gets sent back into his time shamed by losing against Anakin and Padme. No matter, now more than ever he believes he is on the right path to justice...

Results:
General Obi-Wan Kenobi and Ahsoka Tano investigate a rumor about rogue jedi working with Assassins. The Jedi Exile, along with her watchmen bodyguards try to gain the trust of the GenoHaradan Assassin guild only to be followed by Kenobi the negotiator.

An intense battle unfolds as the assassins demand that the exile and her allies assist them in battle against these new comers to prove their loyalty. The echani attempts to attack the assassins but cannot find a clear shot. She tries for the Jedi as well but the watchmen also conceal their presence. The GenoHaradans attack and manage to thin GOWKs forces but also take casualties in the end. Obi-Wan enters combat only to find that he cannot read the intent of these other jedi. Ahsoka charges into battle and easily cuts down one of her concealed foes.

Soon both GOWK and Ahsoka ar forced to make a hasty retreat but not before cutting half of the exile's force. The exile and her "allies" win, but doubt clouds her mind. Why would the council who ordered her to find these assassins send a pair of Jedi to apprehend her as well?

I'm not too sure about that. They know about the game being discontinued. I'm not too sure if they'll order any. You can try asking if you want, but to be honest Dark Times isn't such a good set. Well for bounty hunters I suppose, but it's not that awe inspiring.
