I gotta go with Rorouni the ILLUMINATI are killer. I think I would drop Reed and add feats to the others.
Mr Fantastic + BT
Dr Strange + BT
Prof X + Mental Shields
Namor + Fortitude
Black Bolt + Nova Blast
Iron Man + Repulsor Sheild
= 999
5 perplexers, with BT and Cerebro its + 4-5 to everyone each turn. I know you dont get the re-rolls for theme team but you wont need them.

I'd drop the Nova Blast on Black Bolt. Without TK, it's going to be hard to get him into position to get one off, and as soon as your opponent sees him with it, they are going to target him immediately for destruction. He's already got a 'glass jaw' and it only takes 2 Damage to get him off of Pulse Wave. I'd used him from Range for the 4 (or more) Damage. With the Outwits etc on that team, it shouldn't be hard to make the Damage stick. On a more personal side, I hate Nova Blast. It's the 'cheese' of all 'cheese' IMO. Is it really that 'fun' to neuter you opponents whole team with one roll of the dice?

I'd add Nanobots to either Reed, or Xavier if you decide to get rid of the Nova Blast.

Illuminati is a brutal team to play against. My buddy played them against me 1 time. The sheer amount of Perplex just kills you (or your opponent), very quickly. Also remember that in addition to using BT to boost up your :a-fist: or :g-starburst: or :d-normal: or whatever, that before you do that you can boost down a stat on your opponent to activate the BT.

Let's see for a game like this I would go for the fun of playing such a large mass of pieces.

Secret Invasion Mole Man then fill out the rest of the build with Moloids both old and new.

Or

HoT Ultron and the rest of the build in Phalanx Warriors.....which I will soon be able to do once I get my most recent purchase from Miniatures Market.

I wouldn't know what to play if I was taking this game seriously. I will have to put some thought to that team.

At the last WWLA, I played a team of nothing but I think it was 9 Kid Flash and an oracle all Kid Flash were ICWO. Get your hand on as many of those guys as you can and throw AP and ICWO with no Oracle on your team. You are guaranteed map choice. Choose an indoor map with LOTS of walls. BFC Deep Shadows, Armor Wars, and Disbanded! and things of that sort. Just watch out for Earthquake. You're opponent will HATE you. I was 2 clicks of damage from taking down HC Supes(Crisis), beat an Apocalypse/Doomsday team and massacred an all Brood team. It was a TON of fun. I think Norm took a pic of my team.

A little off topic, but speaking of WKRP in Cincinnati, my wife and I just (as in right before I posted this) watched that movie 'All About Steve' with Sandra Bullock. I recognized the guy who played her Dad in the movie, but it took me a while to figure it out.........Dr. Johnny Fever himself !!!! (Howard Hessemen)

'All right, Cincinnati, it is time for this town to get down! You've got Johnny... Doctor Johnny Fever, and I am burnin' up in here! We all in critical condition, babies, but you can tell me where it hurts, 'cause I got the healing prescription here from the big 'KRP musical medicine cabinet. Now I am talking about your 50,000 watt intensive care unit, babies! So just sit right down, relax, open your ears real wide and say, "Give it to me straight, Doctor, I can take it!"'

So glad to see there are some of us old folks here on the realms.

Ok after all is said and done if I was going to take the game seriuosly I would probably field either :

An all Superman Ally team
An all Power Cosmic team
And lastly probably an all Asgardian team

I think with one of those 3 teams I would get more nag for my buck. No reall thinking involved with these teams just go in and hit every thing. You are bound to knock some figures out quick.

For a real thinking team with strategy and what not. Which I do not have any strategy whenever I play. Just ask my players they will tell you. I would not know what to play. Maybe fall back on my fave and run an all Batman Ally team.

Just my thoughts for the moment.

Wow, 17 consecutive posts from a single user. That's pretty impressive. ;)

But allow me to scale back on the sarcasm and offer a suggestion: the multi-quote. Directly to the right of the "quote" button on each post is the "multi-quote" button. You can click that for a number of posts before you reply, allowing you to respond to several posts at the same time. I hope that helps!

Edit: Canaaron, just so you know, this build does not allow feats, so the team you've suggested does not meet the prerequisites. Nice team though.
