View Full Version : Silly Spectre Question

So I'm looking at my Collosal Spectre, and reading the rules on him for kicks and giggles, and something doesn't match.
It says he has either the Mystic, JSA or Quintessence Team Ability. Okay.
But his dial shows he has the Quinteesence ability WITH Mystic and WITH JSA.
So which is it???
And if he doesn't have it, then can he be Outwitted in his 600 or 1200 point form???? It says he doesn't take pushing on the rules sheet, but then he can be outwitted??
Just curious if I'm getting this right. If so, it takes him down a couple of pegs....which is fine with me!

the rules that he comes with tells you what TA's he can use at what point level (i think JSA at 600, Mystics at 1200 and all three at 1600)
also check the part of the rules that say what powers he ignores (incap, mind control force blast etc...) to see if he affected by outwit or not

ok so i checked his rule sheet, when he is played as part of a force he has mystics at 600, jsa (with his own special rules) at 1200 and Quintessence at 1800.
still lookin for the outwit part

Whichever dial you begin the game with, that determines which TA he has. 1800 is Quintessence, 1200 is JSA, and 600 is Mystics.
Yes, this means at 1200 and 600 points he is vulnerable to Outwit.

There is nothing saying he CANT be outwitted, so it looks like as long as he's not on his highest power level he can be outwitted

So was the Quienteesence printing on the other two team abilities a misprint??
Thanks for the answer though. Makes things more interesting.

no, when he is played as his special scenario he has quintessence at all levels (and nothing else) so the Q next to everything is needed to reflect that
