I've had Maestro since I pulled him (About 6 months ago), and I still havn't found a team that really suits him. I'm looking for either a 300 or 400 pt team, seeing as those are the most common point totals I see at my venue (this is not for a specific game; I'd just like to have a few ideas at my disposal when a game comes around).
My main problems with Maestro is a) his lousy attack when he charges, b) his monstrous point value (though he thoroughly deserves it), and c) his lack of any exceptional keywords.
Whenever I try to put him on a theme team or a non-theme team, it always looks...not good :p .
So I beseech thee, ye gods of the 'Realm: help me in my hour of need!
That is all.

With Maestro coming in at almost 200 points, he's obviously half your team on a 400 point team and 2/3 your team in a 300 point team. I don't think you can get him to work at 300 points, personally.
At 400 points, try this "Future" team:
Maestro 195
R Kang 89
+ Protected 8
Ahab 68
R Deathlok 41
Total: 399
Theme team: Future (+4 to map choice, 2 theme team Prob Controls)
One of the tough things to figure out is what to do with Deathlok -- do you rush him into the middle of your opponents to tie them up, or do you push him once to get to his Enhancement to make R Kang hit even harder? You can put Protected on Kang or Maestro, depending on what you want to do.

MU060 Maestro 195
+ Blood Oath 10
+ Unstopppable 5
SV043 Aleta 51
CR021 Rip Hunter 97
LS005 Phantom Girl 40
398 points from the Future that should do reasonably well.
Try to push Maestro onto his charge clicks after L/C'ing or being TK'ed into close with an enemy if possible, Rip stays close to Maestro to prevent outwit and provide a slight measure of protection with Hypertime TA. Aleta alternates TKing and protecting Maestro with barrier all the while Phantom Girl ties up, blocks LoS or taxis Aleta or Rip.
I've played Maestro enough times to know that the difference between him devastating and being devastated is very small. Prob Control and denial of enemy possibilities to attack him is your best shot at making him work. TK is also very useful both for getting him into and out of trouble.
BFC suggestions: Legendary Day was made for this beast, Shrunk and Deep Shadows makes it easier to handle the ranged based teams and Atlantis Rising/Grounded can keep swarm teams from being able to position.
Good luck! Maestro is often underrated and for sure a challenge to play but obliterating a decent team with him feels very satisfying ;)
How about:
Non-theme, 400:
Maestro 195 + Lunge 5 + Fortitude 25 + Alias 3
Lockjaw R 24
Spider-Man 50 + Lunge 5
Spider-Man 50
The Question 37
Lila Cheney 6
= 400
(or exchange the feats with a Scarlet Witch 35, that way you'll get Probability Control plus the Avengers Team Ability for Spider-Man to copy)
Ruler theme team, 400:
Maestro 195
Black Panther R 27
Emerald Empress V 102
Namora 76
= 400
Ruler theme team, 400:
Maestro 195
Emerald Empress V 102
Blackfire R 48
Ct Doombot V 38 + Contigency Plan 12
Forbush Man 4
= 399
Future theme team, 400:
Maestro 195 + Fortitude 25
AA Batman 64
Karate Kid 63
Aleta R 51
= 398
(or Ct Spiral 56 or Dreamgirl 50 or Lightning Lad 70 or Ls Cosmic Boy 70 or Un Brainiac 5 R 40/Ex 52 instead of Aleta and Fortitude)

Monster keyword:
MU Maestro -195
AA Frankestein -98
MU Spider-man -41
HA Fire Demon -33
HA Fire Demon -33
=400 points
The Fire Demons won't get their minion bonus, but even without that they're still decent for the points. Slow as taxis, but they have Willpower and can always do damage. Spider-man can tie up pieces and even do some damage.

I have a rule of thumb when it comes to using big, brickish figures -
1.) never play a figure that costs more than half your build total.
There's very few figures that I make exceptions for (Cr Darkseid is one of them) but in this case, I'd say only use the guy in a 400 point match, especially because you'll want to put Fortitude on him. TK is a must because Battle Fury nips is mobility.
Let me check the units section to throw a team together...
Marvel Monster Mash:
51 CM079 Black Queen
55 SN208 Symbiote
+2 SIF002 Infiltrate
67 SI029 Morbius
195 MU060 Maestro
+25 AVF003 Fortitude
+5 AAF002 Lunge
400
Future:
195 MU060 Maestro
25 AVF003 Fortitude
70 DR007 Colonel Logan
68 MU035 Ahab
41 IN019 Johnny Alpha
399
Ruler:
195 MU060 Maestro
25 AVF003 Fortitude
103 IC129 Magneto
27 IC085 Black Panther
50 SI031 Mole Man

Most of your teams, Agent P and Sliverbelt, doesn't take into account that Maestro must be either protected/screened by other characters or a barrier or moved by TK (no carry due to Battle Fury). A good opponent will jump at the chance to get a shot of penetrating damage at him and better opponents will run make sure he misses a lot of his attacks, tie him up where you don't want him after he loses L/C or use smoke cloud to stop his movement if you lack TK.
If you're not going to have a TK'er you'd better feat him up with both Unstoppable and Fortitude. Every turn he has to move on his own is a wasted turn, especially considering his low AV when charging.
The Monster team is so lacking in mobility that you would be missing half your team when Maestro gets to the shooters if you face a ranged team, Agent Ps first team is good in that it has good potential for tying up the opponent until big M gets into the fray, but a mobile team will counter this. His two next teams have no notable synergy in my eyes, except for the Contigency Plan. His Future team could work but it's risky to allow Maestro to be stopped by hindering.
Just my 5 cents, though. Generally, I'm just appy that other player's consider one on my favourite clicks

I say use Future keyword, and go to town with some Legion of Super Heroes:
Maestro 195
E Johnny Alpha 53
Dawnstar 60
Dream Girl 50
Phantom Girl 40
Johnny Alpha gives your other Legionnaires a decent TA to copy and a nice stealth shield that will eventually TK Maestro who is hiding right behind him. After that he's a capable secondary attacker.
Use Dawnstar to track down opposing Outwitters or other problem pieces, Dream Girl helps to make sure Maestro's attacks hit, and Phantom Girl can be used as tie-up or to get rid of any tricky objects/special objects. The key to this build is to make Johnny TK Maestro, thus allowing him to use his Special Power +2AV bonus whenever possible.
Doctor Diesel is right about many things here. I forgot about Maestro's Battle Fury - can a character Outwit a friendly character's Battle Fury?
Doctor Diesel's team lacks a secondary attacker, and a support piece like Rip Hunter is too expensive in a 400 point game.
The Monster keyword is totally impossible.
How about this Future team:
Maestro 195
AA Batman 64
LoSH Lightning Lad 70
LoSH Cosmic Boy 70
= 399

Looks solid to me. :) I'd probably still want Fortitude on Maestro, so maybe I'd drop the starter Cosmic Boy for the 45 point R.

Ok, THIS is something else entirely, a great team with enough diversions to worry the opponent about more than just Maestro and every single other piece can act as stealth shields.
It inspired me to make another that drops Lightning Lad for a couple of other quirky options:
Maestro 195
+ Unstoppable 5
+ Hold the Line 4
AA Batman 64
+ Outsmart
LoSH Cosmic Boy 70
+ Contigency Plan 12
R Triplicate Girl 35
+ Drag 5
Batman still acts as a secondary attacker but has gained another role as Maestro's 'bodyguard,' giving him some measure of protection against Outwit. Triplicate Girl is there to sneak towards the enemy's flank. Be sure to keep both her and Maestro inside Cosmic Boys TK range. When you strike, you will have the option to either TK Maestro in the face of your opponents or use Trip Girl to drag a victim towards either him or within Batman' Charge range. Hold the Line gives Maestro options when facing swarms and with Contigency Plan the -2 on the second attack can be compensated for. If Maestro is being tied up by some undesireable cretin, TK Trip Girl in to drag the nuisance away and charge at will!
Actually, that team looks like so much fun that I think I'll dust off Maestro and take him for a spin at next opportunity

I like this team for the Batman Ally TA, but I think I'd rather have Johnny Alpha as a TKer, just for Stealth shield and TA, though I'm not sure where the other 23-ish points would end up.
In addition:
I say use Future keyword, and go to town with some Legion of Super Heroes:
Maestro 195

Dawnstar 60
Dream Girl 50
Phantom Girl 40
This also looks like a fantastic team, though I don't know how much help Phantom Girl would end up being. I do like the Dawnstar with 11 attack (Quarry + 2000AD) .
It's looking like the most viable team would probably be 400 pts with a Future keyword, because there's WAY more Future keyword people, though Ruler comes in at a close second (because of cheap Rulers (i.e. R Blackfire, R Black Panther)).
Well, the teams look great - I love those Future/LoSH teams! Oh! And the Monster team:
Monster keyword:
MU Maestro -195
AA Frankestein -98
MU Spider-man -41
HA Fire Demon -33
HA Fire Demon -33
=400 points
This team did make me start considering Monsters (only real problem I have with it is lack of mobility), and I almost want to put Maestro with Franks and Tornado Tyrant (for some Monster-y TK), and some feats! And they wont get out-ranged! Only problem is Outwit. But now I'm rambling...
