Ok, I keep trying to come up with an idea to get the W3 to the fight quickly and without getting shot up. Last try was by giving ICWO to them with Oracle on the card to get ES/D on one of them, but since Fandral still can't get Brilliant Tactician, it seemed too expensive. Here's version 2.0:

HA059 Volstagg 103
HA018 Fandral 101
w/ MUF005 Outsmart 10
HA034 Hogun 96
HA033 Sif 93
HA012 Valkyrie 38
HA014 Asgardian Warrior 37
MUB002 Lila Cheney 6
w/ MMF004 Passenger 5
MUB002 Lila Cheney 6
w/ MMF004 Passenger 5
Total = 500

Sif carries Volstagg, while Fandral, Hogun and both Lila's run up to somewhere hidden. Next turn the Lila's carry Hogun and Fandral to the fight, and the Valkryrie carries the Asgardian Warrior up as far as she can. By turn 3, Hogun and Fandral can attack, Sif can carry Volstagg to the fight, and the Asgardian Warrior can run up enough to be able to charge the next turn (hopefully). This would work best on a map with a lot of blocking, like the prison map.

6 Asgardians on a 500 pt. team, so it gets the theme bonuses, and you're only down 22 points by the time the fight starts. Hopefully thats not that big of a dent considering your opponent didn't get any free shots on them while they closed in.

Any thoughts? Thanks!

I'd like to try running Malekith with Compel with the Warriors Three.
Letting Hogun attack when he is already marked with two action tokens would be brutal.

Cheap Stealthed taxis that TK.

LoSH Cosmic Boy
Supernova Rookie Marvel Boy
Fantastic Forces Rookie Songbird
-Thunderbolts (Batman Ally)
Hypertime Rookie Robin (for the wild cards to copy Batman Ally)

Each carries one of the Warriors Three into hindering terrain on the first turn, pushes to TK them further out on the second turn.

After the push, Cosmic Boy and Marvel Boy can still help to reposition the Warriors Three during the fight.

If you don't care about theme: I like the idea of each of the Warriors three accompanied by a Lockjaw.

If you absolutely *must* be able to get a figure across the map on its own power (and resist snipes) combining Warbound with Protected isn't bad.

If you don't mind the Thunderbolts feat, you could always TB R Black Knight from Fantastic Forces to Green Lantern Corps and put Double Time on him. Even keeps the Warrior theme.

The thought of getting the Warriors Three taxied 12 squares pr round towards your team is kind of frightening...

I do really like that idea Dr. Diesel. I don't have the rookie, but I did just get the Vet from Ebay, so I'll see what I can do with that. Thanks!

You're welcome! Only problem with the Vet is that he doesn't have the Warrior keyword, but he kind of makes it up to you in a couple of other areas like steady AV/Damage. If you want some real fun, give him Pym Particles, too. Then he can charge the enemy while keeping the W3 between himself and the opponents if the opportunity presents itself ;)

I saw someone wreck with the We 3 & a Thunderbolted to GLCTA Black Knight (with Double-time).
