Scarlet Spider, and then what ?

I have been inspired by Ben Miesner, and because of that I want to play this weekend with my scarlet spider.

So i need help constructing a team with Scarlet Spider , and Possibly Armor Wars spiderman. The format is 300 points unrestricted .. and the atmosphere is competative , but not "cheesey" any suggetions ?

I dont care if i win or loose .. i just like to not get my @55 handed to me.

I don't know about other pieces, but I'd use Vendetta and Point Blank on Scarlet Spider to help his so-so AV.

I don't think point blank is compatible with ranged combat expert. Since RCE requires a power action to make a ranged combat attack and point blank requires a ranged combat action.

That being said, I think point blank is useless since Scarlet Spider would only be able to use his measly 2 damage, instead of his RCE using PB.

I just double checked and it looks like you're right. Man does that suck. Seems like anytime I think a feat or bfc is really cool the wording screws the whole thing...

You can always have scarlet spider wild card danger girl ta or skrulls, push him till he can use entangle and give him elite sniper, talk about a hard piece to hit....avengers spider-man with armor piercing and stunning blow will make a good ally piece with him

I played him this weekend when I used my sons "Spider-Man" team. Had Iron-Spider, 2099, Scarlet, SI Lampost, and Spider-Thor (398 points)

Alpha Flight and Infiltrate on Iron-Spider.

I used it to help teach a newer player (My other teams would have tore him apart). Scarlet made for a nice tie up piece that could deal the damage when needed.

Thunderstrike , Us Agent , warmachine , Scarlet spider .. .. Not quite as good as the originals . but hey you get what you pay for ..
