anyone's tournament cancled 2/16/02?

there' so much ice on the road where i live the store where i play is closed. any one else have this problem today?

Yup, I was going to play in both a H2H and sealed tourney in West Virginia today. I guess the Judge wins by default since the store isn't open.

For any Venue which is forced to close and therefore cannot host a scheduled tournament, neither they nor the Judge is allowed to keep the LEs. They are to keep the extra LEs and use them as giveaways in future events.

Yea same here.....an today was the first big team one we were gonna have too, 500 points, minimum 60 each fig, min 100 from each universe. Oh well, shall be postponed til next month I spose. Had a good team ready for stompin people too...*grumble* Thanks 2 feet of snow!

Well in that case I guess the next tournaments are going to be great! 6 extra LE's will be schweet. Are they supposed to add them on to the next scheduled event or just use them for a seperate tournament?

well thats strange... i know a store that always have tournaments that are listed on the official wizkids site as being supported that "don't make" and in their display case FOR SALE are about 20-30 LE's!!

someone needs to tell them about this rule.

Perhaps you should report this little issue to Wizkids so the store get's it's collective hand slapped. It's not cool to screw over the players of the game.

Yeah, that was bathman. I can only assume that he didn't open up today. I'm about 20 minutes from there and there is already 2 feet of snow outside and it is still falling. :( Oh well......

Along with the prize support package there is a sheet of player detailing the distribution of the LEs. It clearly states that any prizes from an unheld tournament are to be held over as additionaly prizes for a future event. Any store which fails to do this is violating the agreement with WizKids and should be reported. And if they schedule events which they have no intention of running, that is just as bad if not worse. Anyone doing these should be reported to WizKids, yes.

That said, make sure to check the situation before you do anything rash, as there are legitimate ways for them to have these LEs.
